Authentic Peruvian-food! Excellent service ! The young lady who took care of our order while dining in was attentive , amicable , courteous, and professional. The chef was also amazing , and humble. The restaurant is small, but Cousy and family oriented. I recommend the Lomo azado,, el arroz Chaufa de camarones , el grilled Mahi fish with onions and YUCA boiled , not fried. So excited to have a Peruvian place in the area! Love the food! We decided on a quiet Sunday to try this place out after hearing great things! So glad we did! The place was small, quaint, clean and nice inside! The owners and workers were kind and checked on us frequently! I ordered the rotisserie chicken and rice and my fiancé had the fish! We loved it! We also couldn't decide on what desert so we got both! Awsome! Definitely would go back! The prices are on point with what you get! The restaurant is very small but the food is out of this world! I have had takeout twice and have loved the fried chicken with the fries and salad, as well as the sirloin steak with rice. Finally tried Kiko's tonight and it more than lives up to its 5 star rating. I had only heard good things so I was excited to see for myself. We started off with the fried yuca which we wolfed down. Then we had the lomo saltado and frijoles con seco entrees. They were outstanding. The food was hot and the flavor was off the charts. I had to finally cut myself off because my mouth wanted to keep eating but my stomach wanted room for dessert. Speaking of which, we tried both and they were equally delicious. The flan was so creamy and the donuts were just perfect. 10/10, highly recommend, will definitely be back sooner than later. Oh, I almost forgot the purple corn drink! It's was so tasty. It is sweet, but not sickeningly so. Next time, I'd split the 1/2 liter because the liter was a bit too much, but we still drank most of it. read more

Great ethnic food addition to South Jersey area ! I'm always looking to try foods from various cultures and so glad I gave this place a shot. The hours are currently only 3pm-8pm most days so please check before you come. The restaurant is intimate and cozy, with only 8 tables seating 2 each. They can be pushed together for big groups but I suggest calling the restaurant for availability if you have a big group. The decor is tasteful and the place looks very clean. Host and waitstaff are friendly. The food is so different than Mexican food. If you think Latin foods are all similar, think again. I love all the spicy-ness, herby-ness (cilantro) and cheesiness of Mexican, but I also found Peruvian food milder taste intriguing. I had the Peruvian style grilled chicken with yuca fries. The meat was flavorful and moist, yuca was crisp and not oily. My co-diner had the creamy chicken Ají de Gallina, it was decent but not as good as the grilled chicken. I also tried the purple corn drink, very lightly sweet with a hint of cinnamon. For dessert I had the Creama Volteada, similar to Spanish flan, but it's more dense, richer, almost to the texture of a cheesecake but the caramel taste of a flan. Prices were set very reasonably. Overall it was a very interesting dining experience. Highly recommend for families and date nights. The place is small and quiet so you can talk and connect. read more

This place is AMAZING, honestly something to write home about!! This summer I traveled with my family from Florida (Orlando) to Boston. So we literally went to Georgia, the Carolinas, Virginia, DC, MD, a lot of places in NY, NJ and Boston. With a large family it's very hard to decide where to have all your meals. But stopping at Kiko's was the best decision! We loved everything, my favorite dish es lomo saltado hands down but, honestly, we shared everything from aji de gallina to pescado a lo macho, frejoles con seco, and ceviche. Anyway, we had a great summer visiting lots of interesting places and following tips from Tik Tok and friends. We enjoyed Kiko's so much that we actually went twice and wish we could have more time to go back a third time!! It's a cute place, with a nice atmosphere in a very quiet street, makes you feel you are in a nice secluded area of an European city. So, if you're ever in the Philly/South Jersey area plan a LONG stop at Kiko's. I forgot to describe them, but the desserts and the home made chicha morada are to die for. I'm not gonna share the picture here but my wife took a picture where you can basically see that I passed out from eating such delicious dishes. The place was very small, but very busy. The staff was friendly, took my order, and the kitchen filled my order quickly. I ordered the half chicken and the yucca fries. I love the yuca fries and the sauce. I wasn't crazy about the chicken but that's my own taste and I think others will like it an awful lot. All in all, I'm happy to support a small business and they make a very nice addition to the area. I intend to try them again and try another dish and see if I like that a little better.
