Taro Vietnamese Coffee (oat milk) and Lemon Jasmine tea

We went on a hot day to get cold drinks. We had Taro Vietnamese Coffee (oat milk) and Lemon Jasmine Tea. Both were great and refreshing. I like had they had alternative milk options

Mango House Cafe has just opened up in Arlington Heights - their first location is located in Des Plaines. Their menu offers both cold and hot drinks, and ordering beverages off of their kiosk is super easy! We ordered: +the Viet Black Sesame Coffee - prepared with coffee, milk, and condensed milk, topped with a black sesame foam; nice, strong, and delicious! +an Americano +and, a Meshil tea - a Korean green plum; this was steeped extremely well and very tasty! With each drink, you receive an individually-packaged madeleine to enjoy! The staff here are super friendly, kind, and welcoming - there are a good number of seats, and definitely a great spot to stop by if you're looking for post-drinks and/or desserts after having a meal in the area! Support this local business! Plenty of parking in the large plaza lot. +delicious drinks +friendly & kind staff +ample parking

This is a newly opened cafe. We came here after dinner on a Saturday night. It is a cute and clean cafe with a few tables. It is a good place for friends to hang out. There are two kiosk machines, so you can order there. It is very quick and easy. We ordered the Black Sesame Vietnamese coffee and the Strawberry Bingsoo. The Bingsoo was huge. It had cornflakes, mochi, strawberries, and strawberry ice cream. The shaved ice tasted like strawberry ice cream. It was really good. The VVietnamese coffee was strong, but they put a lot of black sesame on top. After you mixed everything together, the taste was just right for me. The staff were friendly and nice. I will go back again to try their Taro Vietnamese coffee and their Mango Bingsoo.

Today we stopped in between errands for a treat. The fruity lattes were perfect and the honey bread toast phenomenal. It's in a great location and easy to get to. The staff was friendly! The ambiance is relaxing! Can't wait to try more menu items in the future!

My favorite match place so far!!! Mango house cafe is clean and so cozy. Has a couple seating areas for people to sit and eat there. The drinks are amazing but I have not tried any of the food. They do have a ramen bar which is self served. The workers are also very nice and willing to help! Please go and try the strawberry match!!!

This is the second location, next to Kaido sushi in a strip mall. It was very empty when we came on a Saturday evening. They have quite a bit of seating available. Inside is very welcoming and colorful. The staff was very friendly. I got the strawberry snow bingsoo. This version was a lot different than the other types of bingsoo I've had. You have a nice crunch from the corn flakes. The ice cream has a nice texture. As a whole, it wasn't very sweet and it is big enough to share between 2-3 people. Prices were reasonable.

New bingsoo spot! Last minute desert craving on a Thursday night and it did not disappoint. We got the strawberry bingsu. Very soft, bountiful strawberries Super delicious. We devoured its. The owner talked to us and she also makes the strawberry sauce in house. Thank you for the Vietnamese coffee with black sesame, delicious! We came on a Thursday night so the place had a very chill, jazzy vibe and very clean also. Conveniently on my way home so I will be stopping by again.

Very cute cafe with a great vibe and super friendly staff! The viet black sesame coffee was perfectly balanced, not too sweet. The jasmine yuzu tea was really refreshing. Will come back

Very good portion size and super friendly service. Chairs could be a little more comfy but the bingsoo made up for it!

We recently diverged from our usuals and tried the sando with pork katsu. It had some shredded vegetable and ketchup-base sauce. I am indifferent to it but I am not opposed to trying the other savory items. We have gone on different days and times over the years. The shelves are almost always well-stocked. Sometimes we would have a brief wait for them to replenish the raisin bread loaves but it is the mister's favorite so it is worth it. The bakery staff are very friendly and quick so the lines are kept moving.

This has been my routine for decades, yet I just realized that I had never actually left a rating for it. What makes this bakery especially appealing is its soft, airy, and smooth bread and buns, which are handmade using ingredients sourced directly from Japan. My personal favorite is the red bean bun. While my sister loves their sandwiches and milk bread, which has an incredibly soft, fluffy, and moist texture. All of their bread and buns are made fresh daily. Many years ago, they even allowed their staff to take home any unsold sandwiches and bread at the end of the day! With increasing competition from newer Korean and Taiwanese bakeries, I hope Pastry House Hippo continues to stay competitive. As a self-serve bakery, it would be nice if the buns were individually wrapped, something many other bakeries already do, to help prevent contamination from careless customers. My most recent visit was on the second day of the new year, and I was happy to see the shop bustling with customers. I hope this little bakery continues to thrive for many years to come.

I truly feel like a kid in a candy store every time I step inside. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Today, the second day of the New Year, there were so many people everywhere inside Mitsuwa, including J. Sweet. Even so, the two female staff members were amazingly patient and polite with every customer, they truly made the experience even better. I was so happy to find a stunning Lunar New Year cookie assortment gift box. The festive red tin features the year 2026 and a galloping horse as the star of the design, that's perfect for celebrating the Year of the Horse! While $35 for 0.4 pounds of cookies (20 cookies to be exact) is a bit on the pricey side, they look absolutely delicious, and I know my loved ones will be so happy to receive such a lovely gift.

Initial impression wasn't great... The smell was really the main reason why. The shop itself definitely had a smell, I can't really describe what it was but it was not pleasant. There was one person working, he was polite but did not have much personality. Most of our questions were met with him telling us that we ordered "over there" as he points to the register. It just did not have a very welcoming energy. Only of our kids got ice cream as the flavors did not catch them like they had hoped it would. My Youngest got a coconut ice cream with waffle cone (she loved it), it was a subtle coconut flavor but very refreshing. My oldest daughter got a match drink w boba, hers was also good but not her favorite. I ended up getting the soft serve mix (Tofu/Black Sesame) which was definitely unique and I did enjoy it but no one else i was with did. After checking out, we were offered free stickers which was a nice gesture and I talked about their Japanese Car theme which seemed to liven up the man working momentarily. My family was not impressed but I enjoyed the experience. Very unique compared to what we are used to seeing. I would most likely return, but I am not confident my family would follow.

My sister ordered the jasmine milk tea, and she really enjoyed it. She especially liked that it wasn't overly sweet. Overall, this is a fun spot with unique flavors and a great selection.
