Came during lunch hour and there was a wait, not too long though. The lemongrass pork banh mi was so delicious! Very big sandwich with lots of veggies and meat, had a kick to it because of the jalapeños. The Vietnamese iced coffee was more strong than what I've had in the past, but still good. Small seating only 2 tables (cafe tables) better for on the go, I waited about 15 minutes for my sandwiches. I order a bbq and tofu banh mi. The tofu is absolutely delicious, it's soft and marinated in whatever their delicious sauce is, mixed with fresh veggies and crispy crusty bread. My boyfriend ordered the bbq pork and all he could make were noises and sounds, but raved after he finished his food. They're big sandwiches to share, or save for later. Unfortunately only visiting but I'll keep this little place in mind. read more

Their food is served in to go containers, even if dining in. Trying their lemongrass pork noodle salad and combo chicken and pork rice bowl. Their portions look pretty good sized. Ordered the chicken vermicelli bowl & it was excellent! The chicken was very well seasoned and I really like the lemongrass flavor. It had a good ratio of noodles, chicken & veggies. They also gave plenty of the sauce which I appreciate. I do wish it had more of the mint & cilantro because I love herbs. I am excited to try other things on the menu here ! read more

Great new spot for quick and fresh Vietnamese favorites! The Bahn mi was delicious and HUGE. Typically I can eat a good anoint but the Bahn mi was so big I saved half for dinner. The tofu was flavorful, the veggies were crunchy, and the bread was fresh I also had avocado fresh rolls, there were fine, nothing to write home about. I was definitely missing the mint and perhaps the crunch of fried rice paper some places add (Sidestreet for example). The Thai iced tea was a little less sweet than typical which I enjoyed. Goodness. Tried it today for the first time. Had the lemongrass chicken banh mi. I was tempted to order without cucumber or jalapeno because the thought made me think "blech." But I decided to go for it and possibly learn a lesson for the next time. NO changes need be made. The combination was fabulous. An explosion of flavor in every bit (but in a nice, sweet way). And even though I managed to polish off half of it, that thing could've fed four of me. The folks working there were very sweet, and watching them prepare food while waiting for mine was sheer joy. Stopped in for two banh mis after work today, combination for my husband and the lemongrass chicken for me, both very very good. He's pretty particular about his banh mis and he kept saying "this is a good banh mi, this is a really good banh mi!" They're very full and not just a bunch of extra bread which is what I like, actually filling instead of just fluff. Will def be coming again. I also got the veggie egg rolls which are super good, my husband hates veggie egg rolls and loved these! Can't wait to come again ! read more

Fast Casual Authentic Vietnamese. Tried the Combo Banh Mii which was fresh and delicious and a very good size which makes up for the steep $12 price tag. If they keep the quality of the ingredients and the size of the sandwich the same I will be a regular customer as it is definitely the best Banh Mi on the Island and can hold its own against any other banh mi I've had in the Bay Area. We also had the pork/chicken combo rice plate which was a good portion and also had very fresh ingredients with a lot of flavor. This cute little shop is next to a great ice cream place, Cookiebar, and down the street from the Pinball Museum. Fresh shrimp summer rolls are tasty and made to order - stuffed with picked veggies, lettuce, cilantro and mint, and rice noodles and a generous helping of poached shrimp. The dipping sauce is a little sweet but complements the rolls. The serving size is three massive rolls. Also got the combo banh mi sandwich, which is huge and very filling. Came here 50 min before closing on Friday night. The staff was very sweet and friendly. Ordered lemongrass chicken and pork/char siu banh mis, vermicelli bowl, and one Vietnamese chicken salad to go. Everything was delicious and traveled well. The banh mis were packed with meat and veggies and the homemade mayo was so flavorful. The salad was crisp and fresh and the vermicelli bowl might've been my personal favorite item. Everything was amazing. Was prepared quickly. Felt like a great value. Very friendly staff. We had a great meal at Mango and Mint. We loved the shrimp rolls and the huge salads...took lots home for lunch the next day. Service is fast and staff are very pleasant. Our only complaint is that there is very little "in" space to eat; just a couple little tables inside and a couple outside. We'll plan for "take-out" next time. Overall: GREAT! read more

Came in right when they opened this Sunday and ordered the tofu banh mi ($12 before tax). Since my friend and I were the first customers for the day, we received our order quickly. My tofu sandwich was HUGE and delicious. The bread was the perfect balance of crispy and soft, and stuffed with the fresh ingredients. It also had grilled mushrooms which I have never had before with tofu banh mi. My friend had the chicken with vermicelli served in a generous portion. There's on two very small tables inside and another two outside so there's not enough space if you come by in a group. When we were served our food, the place got really busy with other customers so it may be better to call in an order if you want take out, otherwise you may have to wait a while.
