redownloaded yelp just to write this review. Mangieris is one of, if not the BEST local restaurant in lakeway. I have gotten the olivia's alfredo every single time and each time I go in to try something else I always end up with the alfredo again because its THAT good. I'm sure all of their other items are delicious aswell. 12/10 read more

We really love and support this place as much as possible. This was another great find we never really knew was good until we tried it out. We had been in this area many times for Hops and Thyme and Flores. Such a cute little place, we usually go at lunch tho- which in my opinion is the best time to go because we can usually get the place to ourselves, have yet to go for dinner, will try out some day. If you don't know what this place is about, get on it.. read more

Yum! Mangieri's has some very tasty pizza, and they are delivery all-stars. We had the Anthony's pizza and garlic bread for movie night last night, and there was not a leftover in sight! I've tried some of their other pizzas (the Toscana and Prima Pesto are stand-outs) but I have definitely found my new favorite. The cream cheese melts sublimely into the mozzarella, the artichoke hearts are delicate and tangy, and the crust is crispy and well-seasoned. Soo good. The garlic bread was okay-- nothing you couldn't make at home with some breadsticks and mozzarella. We loved the garlic dipping sauce that came with them, though! I've tried some of their other appetizers, and been similarly underwhelmed. The fried polenta balls sound good, but in reality are a little thick and a bit too dry for my tastes. The desserts I've tried so far have been pretty good. The cheesecake is creamy and fresh-tasting, and the Chocolate Sin Cake is moist and chocolate-y. Overall, I am a big fan-- decently priced delivery of premium pizza? I'm sold. read more

Frozen corn dogs two months ago, wrong pizza toppings last month, no meatballs in my to go order... how does this place stay open. Very nice staff, not many skills but very nice local staf. Someone must have left the kitchen, pizza used to be awesome, now its just average... below average. read more

Great location tucked into a corner of Lakeway strip mall. No wait and service was quick. Nice ambience. Loved their patio with large TV, which will be great in the cooler months. We started with salads. Very fresh and the BLT salad with blue cheese was very tasty. Shared an XL Margherita Pizza. A nice size pizza for 3-4 people. Toppings were fresh and cooked to perfection. All in all, a good place with good food and great service. read more

Good pizza and pasta, we carry out frequently and like the fresh ingredients and options on the menu. Definitely recommend the pizza with chicken and spinach and they have a twist on Alfredo pasta that is great albeit probably one of those so good it has to be bad for you dishes read more

Loved this restaurant and our family enjoyed the food! Jessica was especially kind! Highly recommend if you're there n the Austin area!

Pizza is pizza so it's hard to get it wrong The best part is the service great service Marc the manager came to check on us and was really friendly, the waiter was great as well as he didn't try to up charge us and even told us that the ice cream comes with 2 scoops so we don't need to get so many for the kids ( we have 3 young kids) Overall very satisfied with this location read more

Chicken fettuccine Alfredo with bacon and spinach, look at it, not many words needed, if you cannot smell the garlic in the steam from the picture you could be dead. This place is a hidden jewel, order it delivered! read more

For some reason tonight's experience was terrible I ordered spaghetti and meatballs there was very little tomato sauce and only three meatballs the food tonight was awful read more

I'm a pizza snob. I prefer Neapolitan-style thin crust, blah blah blah. While visiting family from Houston who recently relocated to Lakeway, we decided to get pizza to go from Mangieri's since it was close. OMG, this is good pizza! Personally, I love the Mary Ann and the Cashew Chicken. Not traditionally "Italian" but so, so good! We've only done takeout so I can't comment on the dining room experience, but takeout has always been fast and correct. I would love an online ordering option, though, maybe they can get that going. read more

I got Olivia's Alfredo pasta that was served with cheese bread. It's the best pasta I've ever had. Also the portion sizes are huge and you can't beat the price of $10.50!!! My husband got the bruschetta because he wasn't as hungry and two of us couldn't finish the bruschetta and the pasta. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

I LOVE it!!! I always make it a point to order from them each time we are in Lakeway. I LOVE the Capo and definitely recommend. Their New York Cheese cake is delish, too! They are always very courteous when we call in to place an order and their drivers are as well. read more

This was our first visit after driving past a dozen times and saying "next time." Our waitress was so attentive, the bruschetta surprised us in a good way because it's soft bread instead of the usual hard, crusty kind. We shared the spinach and goat cheese salad and a 12" pizza. The little ones shared a kids Spaghetti. Did I mention there's a playground?! Always good when eating out with small kids. Good food for a good price. read more

We walked in at 8:52 PM. Mangieri's closes at 9. The host sat us and said it wouldn't be a problem. We had a great meal even though we kept them there past 9:30. Billy, our waiter, was very attentive and made sure we knew he was happy to serve. To be conscientious of the time we ordered desert along with our meal. It came out first. The chocolate sin cake was gone in 6 bites. Life is short....eat desert first. The lasagna was tasty in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian styles. The fettuccini was buttery and creamy just like it should be. The pizza always quite good too according to my son. We had a lovely meal and enjoyed the service. Thank you, Billy! Hope the gig went well. read more

The food is bland, bland, bland. You may as well pick up a Digiorno pizza from the grocery store and save $15. The price you pay for the quality of food just does not match up. Our family is happy to pick up Papa Murphy's pizza instead. My observation is that those Lakeway parents that like to enjoy happy hour while their kids play on the play-scape are the ones that patronize this restaurant (and it does get busy). I guess these folks do not mind eating card board textured nothingness as long as the wine and beer are cold and the kiddos are momentarily entertained. read more

I was brought in to Mangieri's by my Dad today - he said that they made a superb pesto penne and he was right! We both ordered their lunch special which included bread and a very fresh, tasty starter salad for 8.99, ($1 less than the regular entree price - cool). Mangieri's has a nice trendy atmosphere that is pretty comfortable. Their patio looked pretty awesome, although we chose to sit inside. There weren't many tables filled, as we came in the later afternoon, but service wasn't lacking at all which was great. We were seen as soon as we walked in, and seated immediately and our waitress stopped by within seconds to take our drink orders. Everything from drinks to check was spot on with great service. The salad was very fresh and included cucumbers, black olives, croutons, lettuce and cherry tomatoes with choice of dressing..not just a cheapy salad - impressive. Our entrees included one huge split slice of cheesy garlic bread that was fantastic. The penne and pesto with chicken were excellent - great, bright flavors with tasty bits of veggies like sun dried tomatoes mixed in with the pesto. Not a lot of places do pasta or Italian very well in the Texas Hill Country so I was actually impressed! So...four stars it is...I'd really love to come back and experience a service during peak times to see how they do. I'd definitely make the drive from Cedar Park to come back! read more

Wow...maybe the delivery guy needs some work (based on some of the Yelp reviews)...but coming in here for a late lunch was awesome. Gabriella took great care of us. Especially since it was our first visit. Walked us through the menu and made sure we knew what we were ordering. Food was great...no complaints at all. Everything tastes fresh, well made, and was exactly as ordered. We're definitely adding this place to our "usual" list of places to come. Thanks very much for making the experience so good. read more

Had a groupon deal for this place and we were excited to try it. We live in the area so we are always looking for something local and delicious. I will say I think we gave this place the perfect opportunity to shine. We came at 4:30 PM on a Friday before the dinner rush. No one was there but us. We ordered the pepperoni because that is the best way to judge a pizza joint. and even though we were taking it to go we sat down and ate our first few slices while it was hot and fresh. final verdict....ew. Their thin crust is card board and soggy. Pepperonis are not very tasty. Cheese is okay. Sauce was the only thing making it worth eating. Won't be back. Life is to short for bad pizza. Will add that the waitress was nice and had a lot of input on the menu. read more

Wanted to write an update, I gave them another try for carryout... Got a Giovanna's pizza= YUM! Talked to the manager too, and it seems they care about service & customer feedback, so we'll be dining in again sometime. Again, it's nice to have the playground too, so at least I know what pizza to get next time... read more

I stopped in here for some pizzas to go for a sleepover slumber party with my nieces and nephew and wanted to order so many pies as they all sounded so good. I live close to their Circle C location so I was already familiar with their signature thin crust and love it - you either love or hate super thin crisp crust. I decided on a small Artichoke Amore for me (Artichoke hearts, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms and mozzarela) I do not like olives and asked them to leave them off - my pie was delicious and just as good warmed up for breakfast the next day. For the kids I ordered a large that came packed with pepperoni, canadian bacon, bacon, sausage, beef, cheddar and mozzarella; and a large plain cheese for any picky eater friends that might stop by. The kiddos and I gave it a high 5 above Austin Pizza. read more

Ok, we all have bad days and the last time we ordered delivery from Mangieris they were obviously having a very BAD day. However, Tony Mangieri sent me a very kind message apologizing for the debacle and I truly appreciate the gesture. Local pizza joint in Lakeway, TX If I was to base this on food, I would give it a 2 1/2-3 stars. Some nights it's great, some nights it's not fresh and you can tell it's been sitting there for awhile. If I was basing this on service, I'd give it a 5 for sure! Kate is the best person to see whenever you walk in the door. She makes the restaurant so much brighter and happier. read more

We've had consistently positive experiences with Mangieri's. We usually go with the whole wheat crust and have tried several different combinations of ingredients. We've also had the salads and various appetizers. It's all been delicious, and we've also had pretty good service. Now that we have kids, I really appreciate that the layout of the restaurant is very kid-friendly. We can hang out on the patio next to the playground without worrying about disturbing folks. read more

This is our go-to pizza place in the Lakeway area. They have GF options, and they mostly have good service. There have been just a couple of minor mishaps from time to time, but they're always resolved in the appropriate manner by management. We order here atleast bi-weekly for takeout, but never eat in the dining room. They're quick, they know us by name, and they're always friendly. Baked wings are always a win in my book, and they have some of the best. Fuego Blanco and Veggie pizzas are my favorite on the GF crust. Fried zuchinni is to die for. My hubby likes their pasta dishes. Give them a try! read more

Really nice quality pizza with fresh ingredients and a really good signature crust. Not sure if it's sourdough but has that hint of tangy and a crispy finish on the edges. read more

Visited for the first time on New Year's Eve for a late lunch with family. There was only a few people at the bar and not a soul in the dining area. Waitress was nice and attentive. Their version of bruschetta was sad. Basically just french bread with melted cheese on it and cherry tomatoes cut in half on top. Not what you would expect. Entrees were basic. Nothing outstanding. Chocolate cake and brownie with ice cream for dessert are delectable. read more

Wow. Just absolutely wow. The pizza at this place is phenomenal as an Italian native I can truthfully say that this is the closest pizza in Austin the reminds me of home back in Siena, Italy when my grandma would make the best pizza I've had in my life it's just great place to eat. And the server Cristian Orozco was just the most helpful employee in the restaurant his service towards the customers it's exquisite. read more

Food: 2 stars Staff: 4 stars Cleanliness: 3 stars Overall rating= 3 STARS Personally, I really enjoy a good Italian dinner. I love pizza and I adore pasta. I went to Mangieri's because it was raining outside and we needed somewhere quick to grab a bite to eat. Here was my experience: I walk inside and see a friendly looking teen standing behind the counter. There is a tiny room for the bar and just a few seats by the door. The decor is interesting... rather funky I might say. She offers us a nice table outside. We walk outside and it's rather nice! I order a plain cheese pizza and it comes out about 50mins-1 hour later. My food was very dry, but it was almost wet. It wasn't like soup but it could've been. I ate it and it really wasn't very good pizza. We paid the check and food for 3 was almost over $80! That's pretty overpriced for a large cheese pizza! So that was my experience. You might find the pizza delicious and totally worth the price... and all I can do is express opinions. But, go ahead! Give it a try! They could've improved... it's just an opinion. read more

Went to Mangieri's tonight and had the best pizza. It was visually appealing and taste great! The manager, Jack I think, visited the table to make sure everything was good. Our server Emily was awesome! She was friendly, engaging and we had the best meal. Thanks Emily for a great dinner!

I am amazed at a couple one or two-star reviews and comments. Definitely sound like terminated employees. At 60, I've been eating pizza for many years. This is some of the best I've ever tasted!!! Their delivery service is awesome and I often enjoy visiting with folks at their small bar. Do yourself a favor and enjoy great pizza - you won't be disappointed (unless you've been fired for doing a lousy job!). read more
