Despite my initial correspondence clearly stating my concerns, I have yet to receive a response. Unfortunately, the service I received has left my hair severely damaged. Prior to the service, my hair was almost down to the middle of my back, but it has now been irreparably damaged due to the excessive application of bleach. Contrary to my stylist's assurances, the bleach was left on for far too long (60 Minutes), despite my repeated inquiries. As a result, my hair came out in clumps when rinsed and combed. Furthermore, I was not allowed to see the damage as the salon chair was turned away from the mirror. I have been forced to seek legal action due to the refusal to respond to my Dear Carl Michael, I am writing to request a refund for the hair coloring service I received from Holly one month ago.. However, Despite her acknowledgment of my extremely delicate hair, I am concerned that she left the bleach on for the full 60 minutes, even though significant lift was achieved after just 20 minutes. Following consultations with two separate salons, they have expressed shock and dismay at the damage. As evidence, I have attached a photos not once did they offer to refund me my $819. Additionally, I should've changed lot years ago when Holly put in four sets of extensions and they fell out within 72 hours. They offered to put them back in, but that would cost would fall on my hands.

First off, she took the time to speak to me over the phone and ask good questions. I brought my Mom with me who also needs a hairdresser. She was very kind, patient and understanding towards her... my Mom has dementia so the person who works with her has to have a lot of patience. Even the other hairdresser was friendly & engaging in the salon. I have been to a ton of salons in my lifetime... it's rare to experience this kind of upbeat & kind attitude. Cheri gave me a courtesy reminder call prior to our appointment which I always totally appreciate.. When we arrived she made us feel like SOLID GOLD. As I said in a review of her former workplace, Cherie delivers a high-end cut at a very reasonable price, and is truly an artist when it comes to hair color- I've been approached on several occasions by other stylists asking who did my color. When I first walked in, I was a little confused. There wasn't a receptionist so I just took a seat, someone came over a few minutes later to greet me. I then waited a few more minutes and a woman came and said she was going to wash my hair and I could have a seat at the wash station. A few initial observations - this place is very small. VERY small. They are also VERY busy so all the chairs were occupied with stylist behind them making things very tight. There are two wash bowls in the middle of the salon. I sat and waited. It was a little awkward. I almost wish she had just let me wait in the seating area. I had my hair washed - very relaxing and nice and then I had to go back over to the seating area and wait for my stylist..it was only a couple of minutes. Jess was my stylist and she didn't introduce herself, I only knew her name because when I made the appointment they said it would be with Jess. So needless to say, we were off to a rocky start. I wasn't feeling super welcome or super comfortable. However, once Jess started talking to me and we had a good conversation going, it was very nice. She was very warm and I was happy feeling I was in good hands. Overall, I was happy with my hair cut. I will be back to see Jess. A few notes about the salon. It was very warm (temperature wise) in there. I was sweating..eww. Also, it's very "swampscott-ish" - meaning the other clients walk around like they own the place and I wouldn't go in there and share "what you heard last night over dinner" because I guarantee someone in there knows someone you are talking about. That would be the only reason I wouldn't go back - which is a shame because I did like my hair, I just didn't necessarily love the environment which is not really the fault of the salon. I booked an appointment and because I live more than 6 hours away, she booked me on a Thursday morning, allowing us more than enough time to find the correct hair piece, overnight ship it, color and highlight on Friday and cut and blend with my bio hair Saturday along with teaching me all about the care of Follea hair pieces. Living so far away, Ashley (Office Manager) and Sara answered endless questions and emails. They ensured our trip was pure perfection. When we entered the Salon, the staff is amazing at Covid precautions as well as assuring you are seen in a private space due to the emotions of hair loss.
