(We were lucky to get in last minute with a major football game falling at the same time as our appointment). The interior of the nail salon is so calming, love the soft lighting, the pleasant background music on, TV with close captioned Golden Girls going and bohemian interior with its crystal chandeliers, Moroccan stencils on one window, subway tile on a wall, and French chic pieces throughout. You don't feel like you're in a nail salon. Estella and Michelle did our honey and milk spa pedicures (the upgrade was worth it) and regular manicures. Both were great and our paws and hands feel so much better as a result. I wish this salon existed back home... I love the little touches as well on how this salon supports good causes and takes the longer route to remove gel versus electric filing which always feels like it damages the top of my nail. Instead of simply helping me with that, I was told, "If you want, you can go to the other Princess Nails salon." The way it was said came across as rude and dismissive, almost as if they did not want my business. I believe every potential customer deserves to be treated with respect, whether there is availability that day or not. I came in ready to support this business, but after the way I was spoken to, I will take my business somewhere that makes customers feel welcome and appreciated.

My pedicure was lovely, but unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. I initially requested a no-chip manicure, but my technician recommended an alternative, longer-lasting service and assured me she could accommodate my Halloween nail design. However, the pricing for the alternative service and nail art was never clearly communicated to me. To my surprise, while my manicure was still in progress, the receptionist approached me to check out, and my total came to $201. I was extremely upset by the lack of transparency, as I was never informed of the cost or given the opportunity to approve the pricing beforehand. I am more than willing to pay for quality services, but clear communication about pricing is essential. Unfortunately, this experience fell short of my expectations and left a very disappointing first impression.
