The menu was great, lots of items you can order pizza, pasta, and Indian! I got a few dishes, and I was happy with them all. I really enjoyed the veggie burger, and the tandoori paneer plate & the cauliflower wings. Everything was flavourful, and felt healthy, I didnt feel gross after eating this food (most places in surrey you feel like there is MSG and feel not good after eating it) but I felt leaving good! The place was busy when I came in and the staff was very nice and attentive Overall it is very clean, and there is absolutely no meat or eggs there. I will certainly be back to try other items on the menu!

A vegetarian bistro and we had just been talking about trying more vegetarian dishes? Why not? As the name suggests, it is small and quaint, buried in a strip mall and one of those "blink and you'll miss it" places. The decor reminded me of a contemporary restaurant where everything is chosen based on their ease of ability to be cleaned (and for the record, the place was clean), with enough seats to sit about 15 people, and I may be rounding up. We were the second table to enter and we were greeted promptly and given the menus. Perhaps I was misled by the restaurant name and did not really know what to make of the meat dishes that I saw: Beef burger? Chicken Nuggets and Fries? Crispy Chicken Burger? I saw nothing to indicate they were the vegetarian version of chicken nuggets or beef burgers, and about 2/3 of the menu was vegetarian or vegan options, so I surmised they must have put a few meat options there to satisfy any meat eaters that wander through the door. I settled on the Spaghetti with Veggie Balls and the boyfriend ordered the Veggie Curry. The pasta was quite filling (included garlic bread) and I discovered the veggie balls and/or sauce was a tad above my spiciness tolerance level, and was even spicier than the Veggie Curry. In hindsight, I wasn't surprised: it is my personal experience that a lot of the times a vegetarian dish will have a lot of spices added in. Chalk it up to not reading the ingredients carefully and thinking things through. In terms of service, I thought it was great. Water glasses were filled regularly, the waitress checked up on us to ask how we were enjoying the food. I would be very interested in coming back and trying other items on the menu!

My only feedback was that it was too spicy for me. I ordered medium spice level but it felt like a very high level of heat. But it is probably because I have a low tolerance for spicy food. The potato kulchaa plate was beautiful. I didn't know what it was so I asked them and their explanation appealed to my palate. Basically an extremely delicious and satisfying naan stuffed with potatoes, herbs and spices. It was served with yogurt and chickpea curry and a few other condiments. We also ordered their veggie noodle dish, it was packed with flavour and yummy. Good portions. Affordable prices. We'll definitely go back, and can't wait to try more food. My only constructive feedback would be to provide better waiting services. We pressed the call button a few times and nobody came to our table. We waited for quite a while before trying to flag someone to help us. I'm not sure if the call button actually works or is a decor. Otherwise, really lovely place. Mesmerizing ceilings and lots of seating. The free car park outside is chaos, so many people trying to go in all directions and it can take a while to find parking. I didn't take many photos as we were hungry and ate most of the food before I remember to take photos! I didn't take a couple of the cool ceiling though!

Best part they offer Jain food as well. For kids, the robot delivering food was icing on the cake. Crew was extremely courteous, thorough, professional and spot on. Kids enjoyed the complimentary lollipop n orange indian candy. They also offered 'chutki', after ages enjoyed that taste. Overall, really happy with this . Infact we returned again for lunch during our 3 days stay in Vancouver.

The staff is so kind and welcoming, it really is like being part of the family. During this visit we ordered our fave dishes including the savoury chicken tikka masala and the incredible chicken momos. I wasn't a huge fan of the prawn koliwada fry because of the seasoning, but my family enjoyed it. Our server Jana was very kind and knowledgable. Despite managing tables for half the restaurant, she was efficient in taking our orders and attentive when we needed her to come to our table. We also appreciated her sense of humour and friendliness. We love this restaurant and are so excited they've been expanding to other locations. We can't wait to return for another meal here during our next visit to Canada!

The host asked me if I wanted a table in the front or back, and quickly seated me and grabbed me a menu. There were a lot of great sounding fusion items on the menu, and I almost went with one of their brunch items before opting for chicken tikka masala, Kashmiri chai, and pani puri. It took a bit of time before the waitress came back for my order, but my pani puri and chai came out quite quickly. Both were very good, chai very creamy and aromatic, and the pani puri's quite flavorful. My chicken tikka masala came out as I was finishing up the pani puri. It was really hot and the naan was warm, and both were incredibly tasty. Flavor was good, chicken was very tender, overall no complaints! I didn't specify a spice level when ordering and the waitress didn't ask so based on taste they may have defaulted to mild, which tasted great. I'd definitely come back again to try one of their delicious sounding desserts!

Both were very tasty (authentic, not watered down to cater to the masses/non-Indians). And very filling. I actually ordered a second Choley + Puri because it was so good, but then I had to take it to go because I was full...but I wanted to keep eating because the food was so tasty! Very friendly dude in the front, and he was happy to help identify the dishes that were already vegan or could easily be made vegan. 10/10 would recommend. We'll definitely be going back for more. FYI, for any vegans reading this review - this place (Namdhari) makes the food from scratch, unlike a lot of other Indian places we called in the area. The other places told us that they pre-make the bases (i.e. tarka) which include dairy (butter, ghee), so they aren't able to veganize their dishes.
