I worked with Nick to have luxury vinyl plank flooring installed in my condo in Chicago in June 2025. Everything went alright, he was somewhat responsive, and the installation team did a decent job. The floor isn't completely level, and it's very noticeable in some areas. I also asked about baseboard options but never got a response. The baseboard they installed looks nice, but I found it odd that I wasn't allowed to be involved in choosing it, considering it's my home and my money. About four months later, I noticed that one of the planks had broken because the floor beneath it is uneven. It's right by the entryway, so it's very noticeable and would be an issue if I were to sell the condo. I wasn't angry because I understand that mistakes happen in construction, but I messaged Nick multiple times and never got a response. The messages were delivered, and that's how we primarily communicated. I also called the store three different times over four days and was basically told to contact Nick because they hadn't seen him. I told one employee that Nick wasn't responding and asked what I should do, to which he said, "I don't know what you should do." I don't think it was too much to ask to have my floor repaired after only four months, but I was treated like I was being needy and annoying. I suspect they'll respond with a story about how Nick never received my messages, which is obviously untrue. Even if that were the case, the store should have followed up with him and made sure he responded. Bad customer service, I regret using them. Once you've paid, you'll be ignored. read more

Beware! This company has changed hands and Jeff , the former owner, is no longer with them. Jeff came to my house in November 2022 and showed me a couple of samples of carpeting. He picked one out and said this would be my best bet and that this carpet was a much better grade than what I was replacing and stains would come up easily. Wrong! This carpet shows dirt by anyone just walking across it. I tried to clean a couple of minor stains and instead of cleaning, it formed an unsightly brown ring. It looks worse than the 15- year-old carpet that I replaced. I trusted Jeff because Manas Torcom has been a well-respected business in Park Ridge for decades. I ordered this carpeting from Costco and was delighted when I found out Manas Torcom was the company they were working through. Sadly, Manas Torcam is no longer Manas Torcom. The first time they installed the carpet they put in the wrong color. so replaced 2 months later then the carpet wore out so needed to replace again! Said it would be done over 2 days but came in and pushed to get it done in one day which is not easy for seniors! Also claims its the same quality as originally purchased but no paper work and won't respond. read more

And then Anthony came to install, moved all my furniture, took away the old rug, laid the very large area rug (11x17), and reassembled my sectional. All I did was vacuum the new rug. I contacted Costco to purchase wood flooring for my kitchen. They put me in touch with Manas Torcom. I should have listened to my gut when, after taking off work to meet their sales guy, Jeff, he forgot to show up. I called him and he blamed his transition to an electronic calendar and finally arrived for the estimate. The installation was terrible with splinters all over the place. It took several months but they finally replaced the floor (hence 2 stars instead of just 1). It's still not great--the transition piece they used exposes the plywood underpayment to my formal dining room and the quarter round doesn't match--but i don't have the energy to deal with them to get it fixed. I think they can't keep up with the business Costco is bringing their way. It's a shame. read more

Very dissapointing company.....the whole situation is still pending will update soon, on the progress. This is just a warning for customers to be careful and get everything in writing. So far the company is hiding because they don't want to fix the issue that is going on! We were trying to encourage and help small businesses in Park Ridge instead of going with the usual Empire.....big mistake. We have used Empire before, they have more experienced workers, the tools, and the knowledge and of course are cheaper, and always have contact with their customer. Well hopefully this company will admit what they have done and not do this to anyone else. This rating is for the carpet cleaning. They sub contract carpet cleaning through a man named Rob G. This man was rude, difficult to talk to you, and cancelled a cleaning appointment on us with no regards to trying to reschedule or even an apology. When I asked when he could come to reschedule he scoffed at me over the phone like I asked him the biggest favor in the world.I told him to forget it and I would find someone else. Absolutely no business or social skills what so ever. I highly suggest you do not go here for carpet cleaning. I cannot comment on anything else for this business. read more

I have used Manas Torcom (via Costco) for the second time. Jeff was great to deal with regarding the selection of the carpet and other suggestions. In both cases the installers were very professional and did a fantastic job. They were polite and respectful of our home. The first installation was 3 years ago and still looks new. I contacted this company through my Costco membership. Jeff, who said he was the owner, came to my home and seemed very knowledgeable about different makes and styles of carpet. He was patient as I selected the product I wanted, and when I made an appointment for installation the installer was prompt. He appeared to be very experienced, quick, and efficient, everything looked good and he had cleaned up and vacuumed and replaced all the furniture where it belonged. I noticed after a few days that I could feel nails poking up through the carpet at all the doorways. I called Jeff to let him know and he was supposed to send someone out to fix it and told me I could use a hammer to get rid of them. I was reluctant to do so myself because I was afraid the carpet would pull up at the doorways then. He never sent someone out and I Did not call again, feeling like all they ever wanted was my money. read more
