2024 kicked off with a basement floor..never fun! We ripped out our carpet, among other things…read morefrom the damage, and decided to do vinyl floors. A friend who just redid her basement bought her vinyl floors from Carpet Central & Hardwood Flooring so I went there to check out all the options. I brought home a bunch of samples that looked good and facetimed with my decorator (who recently moved to Dallas) to find the best one. They all appeared a bit grey so I returned and brought home so more samples. This time I got it right and had Mike price it out for me. My contractor thought the price was very fair so we decided to move forward. When I checked out the samples I thought in stock meant in Illinois, but it was in the warehouse in Georgia. It took about a week to get to us, which was pretty fast, but I was hoping to start a week earlier. My kids are going a little stir crazy without a basement in the winter! As Mike promised it came in exactly a week after ordering and he worked with my contractor to pick it all up the next day. I did get an invoice that day even though I had paid for the floors a week earlier, but Mike apologized for the mix up. The floors are currently being installed and I look forward to seeing the finished product!
