I recently visited this bakery and found the cakes to be exceptionally enjoyable…read more I had a pleasant conversation with a Black receptionist who confirmed the freshness of their cakes, a claim that was indeed validated by the quality of the products. 1. The strawberry-flavored cake I sampled contained genuine strawberries, offering a moist and delightful experience. The frosting was also infused with strawberry and berry flavors. 2. Subsequently, I tried the cake and brownie layer cake, which featured distinct layers of brownie, yellow cake, and red velvet. This selection was equally exquisite. I am highly impressed with this establishment and commend the bakers and staff for their outstanding work in the art of baking. I intend to continue supporting this business.

The only sign we noticed was an inappropriate carrot cake sign, which was an immediate turnoff, especially for families with children. When we walked in, we stood behind another couple waiting to be helped. After about five minutes, the other couple left. We were eventually greeted by a female employee whose attitude made the experience very unpleasant from the start. She was unfriendly, barely made eye contact, and acted as though my questions were an inconvenience. The desserts were mostly unlabeled, with the exception of the brownies, so I had to ask what several items were. Instead of being helpful, she seemed annoyed that I was asking. The interaction was so uncomfortable that I decided not to order anything myself. My partner still chose to support the business and purchased a slice of chocolate cake, a chocolate chip pecan cookie, and a pistachio chocolate chip cookie. Unfortunately, the desserts were just average at best. Two days later, we still have most of them because they simply were not good enough to finish. Customer service can make or break an experience, and in this case, it definitely broke it. Between the poor attitude, lack of hospitality, unlabeled products, and underwhelming desserts, I would not return or recommend this place.

The cake was handed over in what looked like generic Amazon-style cardboard packaging. The location was also completely different from what their photos suggest. They recently moved and clearly haven't updated their photos. They're located inside a building where meat is being processed, along with a bunch of CookUnity units. Once you step outside, you're essentially standing next to trash on the street. Definitely do not rely on the photos when deciding whether this is the kind of place you want to visit. And beyond all of that, the person handing over the cake was extremely rude and unprofessional, which made an already disappointing experience even worse. For what they charge, there are much better options. I would not recommend this place.
