Did you know that Mammoth Premiere Reservations charges a $30 RESERVATION FEE. This is the first time I've heard of a reservation fee. We got the condo called WOODLANDS 11. There were a few basics missing that soured the experience: *The place is listed for 9 people, well, there are only 8 bed spots. Somebody had to take the couch. *There were only 9 towels. What do they expect us to use for the Jacuzzi? Not cool. *Posted on the refrigerator, it says fresh towels will be delivered every other day. We slept there 3 nights. When I called to get towels, the reply was "We only provide towels on the 4th day". How is 4 days "every other day"? *Cheap on the paper towels. There was a pitiful few sheets left on the current roll and there was no back-up roll either. *No washer & dryer unit. *Spinning spice rack with 20 lil bottles, almost all empty. Empty spice rack bottles are a bad tease. *No oil, no plastic wrap, no aluminum foil. Dude, all other cabins seem to have these basics. read more

With the recent snow fall here in So Cal a few friends and I decided to head north to Mammoth to get some snowboarding in. After a quick internet search I found Mammoth Premiere Reservations. They had a few different types of places available ranging from on the mountain to in the Village. We settled on a location listed as "within walking" distance to the lifts. I called MPR to ask what exactly is "walking distance"? I've stayed at other places listed as "walking distance" only to find out you need two dog sleds and a Sherpa to get anywhere. And, lets face it after a day on the mountain even the shortest of walks can fell like the Iditarod. The lady on the phone said the walk was about 3/4 of a city block. It seemed ok to us and we decided on a loft with a sleeper sofa that sleeps 4 (We only had 3). Check in: We arrived on Friday evening (around 6pm) to pick up the keys at the office. The office was easy to find just a few turns once you get into town and the staff was very nice even this late in the day. They also may have been high from the paint fumes since the office is also connected to a paint store. They provided a map to get to our condo (Mammoth Ski and Racquet 101) and it was easy to find. We also had covered garage parking which came in handy with the blizzard that came Saturday night. The condo was clean and more modern then many ski resort locations I've stayed at in the past (actually had an LCD TV). The unit had an upstairs loft (with bed and TV), sleeper sofa, dining room table, full kitchen and two full bathrooms. Location was close enough to walk to the lift but what they failed to mention were the hills you needed to walk up and down to get there. Throw in the snow and icy conditions and its just that much harder. I'd still stay there just maybe add a few more days of cardio before I go. Check out: We were set to stay until Sunday night after a full day of boarding but apparently Mother Nature had other plans. A snow storm hit Saturday night causing the lifts to be closed most of the day and when they did open they only opened the smaller runs which weren't worth the walk up or down the hills. We then decided to try and head back When you leave a condo rental, on the fridge when you leave are lists of things you're suppose to do when you check out. Now I don't mind picking up after myself but I figure when I pay close to $600 for 3 nights of lodging that someone else would take out the trash. Maybe next time I can take some paint from the office/paint store and do some touch ups? I probably would have given 5 stars if not for the walk up and down the hill and since this is my first review I don't want to come off as too easy. That's when people will start to talk. read more

Mammoth Premiere is such an organized, thoughtful, welcoming reservation site. My fiancé and I have used then two years in a row and they keep getting better. They have an app that is not only efficient, but helpful with locals spots, food ideas and recreational activities. Makes checking in a breeze. Upon arrival, you are welcomed by a friendly face, free goodies and maps, brochures and helpful tips. The staff is so accommodating, giving us dinner ideas, bars that offer happy hour, hiking trails, discounts on local activities and just plain good conversation. The condos are clean, warm, set up with essentials (TP, towels, kitchen items, trash bags) and some even have free wifi. Mammoth Premiere is an all around amazing condo reservation business, without any hassle, run around, hidden fees or crappy rooms. This place rocks! Chamonix #79 was awesome! The kitchen is open, and the bed was comfy! It's close to Canyon lodge and is a great place to stay!

I recently rented through MPR at one of the snow creek locations, the pics online looked a bit dated and to be honest I was very nervous. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when we got there, we arrived just after office hours, so they called me and gave me the key box code so I can pick up my keys, everything was there and ready, and the condo was easy to find. The pics online did not do this place justice, it was 3 bdrm, 3 bath with a loft, we had a large group and everyone was really comfortable. The walk to the shuttle stop was not as close as we would of liked, but with sunny conditions it was not bad. If I was there during a snow storm I probably would have taken a start off since walking back in cold after boarding all day is not what I would want to do. All in all, they were nice, the place was clean, and lived up to our expectations. I'm definitely a fan, and would rent from them again. Cheers to you MPR! read more

We have rented from Mammoth Premiere Reservations in the past and had no problems. But I give them one star for my most recent experience, which was bad enough that I will not be renting from them again. MPR called us an hour and a half AFTER check in to tell us our cabin was unavailable because the path leading to the door was covered in ten feet of snow. They recommended we go home and try again the next day. We were already an hour and a half into our drive with 3 adults, an eight year old and 2 five year olds. When I told them this, they suggested I find a hotel room in Bishop for the night. They told me it wasn't their fault... that they were only in charge of collecting the money, making sure the condo is clean, and giving us the key. A different company was in charge of the actual snow removal. Instead of finding other accommodations at hat point through another company, I trusted MPR when they said that our condo was a priority and they were sure they'd have us in the next day. They did help us find a cabin for the night, however it smelled very smokey inside, and the 2 children and 2 adults in our party with asthma had a hard time in that unit. The next day the snow was not removed. I spoke directly to the manager of the company in charge of the snow removal and he said that he wouldn't be able to get us in until Sunday (it was Thursday) and had known since Monday that was the case. He told us the MPR had not contacted him until the night before to ask about the snow removal. MPR was quick to say that wasn't the case, and it was completely the fault of company in charge of snow removal. At that point I started to look elsewhere for accommodations. Fortunately, we were able to find another place to stay for the weekend ourselves. The bottom line: We rented a slope-side condo from them and they did not come through with their end of the agreement, they were rude when speaking with us, and didn't offer upfront to help us with anything. We booked from these guys on Airbnb, and they cancelled on us 4 days before our trip, because they double booked on some other site. They barely apologized and did nothing to provide another accommodation for the similar price. We asked them to be understanding, but got nothing in return. My husband even implied that he will write them a bad review, but they cared less, so here we go. Never written 1 star review before, but feel like I had to on this one. We have a 5 month old baby and this is our first skiing trip away since he was born. Mammoth Premiere made our trip planning way more stressful and less pleasant. We will be careful about renting from them in the future since obviously you can't count on having an accommodation when you book with these guys. read more

We have always used Mammoth Premiere Reservations when reserving a condo in the Mammoth area. They are always helpful , professional and friendly. Every employee I have dealt with is great with recommending different units based on what our needs are while in town. Most of their properties are premiere and beautiful. We have not had a unit we didn't like. This last trip I was a little disappointed as the unit in which we stayed didn't have dishwasher soap, hot pads, or dish soap and towels with which to handwash dishes. Upon checking out, I told one of the women in the office that all the dishes in the dishwasher were rinsed well, but not clean as we didn't have the dishwasher soap and I didn't want to have to buy a large box of soap for one washing. She apologized profusely and said that was there fault, she was sorry and wished I would have called as they would have delivered it to our unit. I know for next time. I am never disappointed by their services. Great job Mammoth Premiere! read more

I've used mammoth mtn premiere reservations several times. They are just a service to book condos. But this time was the last time i will use them. They made us physically give them the keys back by 10am on check out day, which basically meant putting chains on, driving to their office before the lifts opened, and then coming back to park. i also had to fight them to keep a parking spot until 2pm. What happened to skiing? And leaving the keys in the room? I have no doubt they have another set of keys, did they really need us to drop them off so early? Not to mention they gave bad info on the resort -- we weren't allowed to bring skis up to the room even though they said we could. And for some reason Juniper Springs held luggage carts hostage. All in all, I'll be finding someplace else to book from. read more

RE: MAMMOTH GREEN 213 We have vacationed in Mammoth Lakes almost every summer since 1994. We have also stayed at Mammoth Green several times through Mammoth Premier Reservations. This time was a bit different , there was construction going on that was not listed on the web page when I make the reservations in February. When I questioned about the construction Judy stated that they didn't put it on he web page. Once we were in our unit. I noticed that the screen on the bedroom window didn't fit well and I informed Judy that our 6 month grandson would be sleeping in that room and I was concerned about mosquito bites. Initially, Judy told me that no repairs would be made during construction. When I pushed the issue she said it would be a two day repair. My husband called on Sunday and the young Lady in the office was more than happy to help. The maintenance man removed and replaced the screen Monday afternoon. However, there was another screen in the upstairs bathroom that had the same issue that repair took 2 days. So the upstairs bedroom was very warm without the benefit of cross ventilation. The screen was returned to us by the office manager, it was fortunate that my husband had a screwdriver to remove the window crank and he installed the screen. In addition one of the bar stools were broken and the water dispenser in the refrigerator stopped working on day two. During the day parking out front was occupied by the contractors and the open garage spaces were used by the contractors from time to time as well. We brought the parking situation up to the manager and were told to park in the dirt, and she tried to put a positive spin on it by stating there was shade and our car wouldn't be as warm. While all the repairs were made the property management company should be aware of the condition of every unit they manage, and make sure that inspections are routinely conducted to prevent other renters from the same frustration. read more

Our party of 9 was very comfortable in one of the Aspen Creek units. Clean, spacious, and a 10 minute walk to the lifts at Eagle Lodge, this unit had it all. They even let us check in earlier since no one booked the night before. The biggest downside, however, was service on the day of checkin. Our reservation came with two spots but another car was in one spot. It took several calls and several hours before they took care of the issue though it finally did get resolved. read more

I have rented from this company on and off for well over 15+ years. Units they manage are rented clean, well stocked and for the most part, up to date in furniture, upgrades/remodels. Last unit I rented was #137 at Horizon 4 off Meridian near Old Mammoth Road. I rented it last Friday (3/4/2016) for 3 nights. Unit 137 was a one bedroom with an alcove near the front door that had a bunk bed. Easily sleeps 3-4. Plenty of closet and drawer space, kitchen had most everything one would need. Furniture and carpet were clean and fairly new. Bed was comfy. Only three drawbacks. One, the owner of this unit needs to upgrade their window blinds. They're a bit dated and cheap. Bedroom blinds were partially broken and the rear porch (slider door) blinds were not working and in bad shape. Second negative was someone needs to fix the shower head connection. When you shower, water flies out of the connection and shoots up onto the wall above the shower. Fortunately, the water flows back down into the shower stall and not onto the bathroom floor. Third and final drawback was the Wi-Fi here was pitiful. Horizon 4 condos have some sort of group Wi-Fi and it was very bad. Go on, get blown off. I tried it many times during my stay with my iPhone, laptop and even an android tablet. Wi-Fi did not consistently work with any of those devices. I was encouraged to make reservations for a Snowcreek condo about a year ago through Mammoth Premiere Reservations, even though my mother was very sick with cancer. Told no problem with trip insurance, so we bought that, too, and paid more than $1,000 in advance. Mom ended up getting very sick very quickly, so we canceled, and I left to care for her across the country. Trip insurance form (from VacationGuard) was 7 pages long, and we needed 3 years of Mom's medical records. I don't even know if her various oncologists (and her GP) would have cooperated, since she'd had so many. Since the form was so involved, my Mom died that August, and the executor was uncooperative; we lost ALL our money. Never again will we pay for any trip in advance, trip "insurance" or not. read more
