The first thing I noticed when we walked in was how fresh and clean everything smelled -- it immediately felt welcoming. The kitchen was very well stocked, even more so than other Mammoth rentals we've stayed in. It had everything we needed, including a crockpot, which we ended up using and really appreciated. The location is fantastic -- just a short walk to Canyon Lodge. That was especially helpful with my 5-year-old and all the gear we had to carry. Soooo, the place is cute. Great location. However, the property managers have changed. dogs pooping and peeing everywhere. I love dogs but I do have an allergy and it is one of the reasons I have stayed here. The expectation is that if people bring pets then the unit should be cleaned well. I checked into unit #5 in building A and it smelled because no one took the trash out so I cleaned the unit myself. Teenager checking you in but she can't answer any questions, nor does she go over the property, parking, or lockers. TV provider kept going out. Oven worked but couldn't turn it off and neither could maintenance. So maintenance had to show me how to throw the fuse. Managers were aware but no one reached out. Might wanna get the old property managers back! read more

Anyone traveling to Mammoth should DEFINITELY NOT stay at St Anton Condos. I live here full time and there is major construction in the hallways until November. Between the paint fumes, the dust and the filth it is not a place you want to be. I wouldn't stay here anytime as a guest. There are cameras everywhere that record what you are saying-in the hallways, in the rec room, in the garages, at the jacuzzis, EVERYWHERE!!! It's creepy and a definite violation of your privacy. Add to that no service and no security; don't waste your money. New management is absolutely horrible, they watch cameras to monitor property. read more

Love St Anton's whether it's the winter for snowboarding/skiing or the summer to fish and hike. The prices are so reasonable and the location is perfect! Unit # 75 is beautiful and super modern with a gorgeous upgraded kitchen and bath. For kids there are bunk beds, the living room has a sofa pullout bed, and bedroom has a comfortable king bed. The TVs in the living and bedroom are massive in which your able to use the owner's Netflix or Hulu account or your own apps on the smart TV, as well as watch regular cable. This unit is awesome due to having all the amenities of home. There is also a recreation area with pool table and jacuzzi, bbq grill, and swimming pool outside. Stay here, especially unit #75 and you be glad you did! read more

First, the location is amazing. Right by the lifts. But the overall property is horribly maintained. It feels like it should be condemned. The Wi-Fi was down for three days because the system, and hotspots seem to be installed by the local high school shop class. The towels seemed like they were donated by the state prison. As you can see from the pictures it looks like a construction site where they paid off the compliance officer. They charged $800 a night... when as you can see from the pictures would be overpriced if it was $800 a month. The property management team didn't care about the inconveniences and basically refunds us $20... less than 1% for their uninhabitable living conditions. I am calling both the city, Airbnb, and the better business bureau to report this horrible experience. read more

Condo unit was fine, no issues there. The problems are with the parking and condo management team. We reserved through VRBO and initial communication was through a 3rd party rental management company, Grand Welcome. We learned ahead of time that underground parking was available, so we asked if there were an outside parking spot for our SUV with a roof box and were emailed there were outside spots. Here's where the problems started. After parking outside for two nights with no problems, on the evening of day 3, we had FINAL warning stickers on our SUV to move it and they blocked in our SUV with a snowcat (see in pictures). We were not in fire lane and no signs were present to state the spot was reserved. We contacted Grand Welcome and St Anton and after several hours, we received a call from the St Anton manager. No explanation for blocking our car in, no apology, very rude and no solution to parking our SUV. Do not stay here unless you want to experience poor interactions with the manager. read more

Location, location, location. Our family loves this place!! Unit 75 is a unit we love and it's an updated unit with all the new amenities of brand new condo. Brand new SS appliances, 2 large big screen smart TVs, great eat in kitchen, and a bunk bed for for the kiddos. It's practically ski in / ski out next to Canyon Lodge and the underground parking is key. You can easily walk to Canyon Lodge and take the Gondola to the village. Summertime is great as you are right next to the lodge of you want to bike the trails. If you are looking for a great modern/hip yet cozy condo with an unbeatable location then Unit 75 at St. Anton is a great place to book. read more

Its unbelieveable that St.Anton is saying its ok to Travel when the authorities are saying otherwise! We booked a weekend here and unfortunately because of severe blizzard conditions and based on Mono County sheriffs advice not to travel, we could not go! We tried to rebook but St.Anton is so inflexible with their policies, they will not offer us any new dates! Or even a partial refund or a discount, or the cleaning fee that with not be used, unbelieveable greed!! I talked with the manager today and she basically said i should have bought the travel insurance and then she promotly hung up the phone! I recommend to avoid booking any stays at St.Anton Condos! Horrible management and customer service. We made a booking directly with the condo rental office for 3 nights this weekend (March 2023). Knowing the amount of snow and winter conditions we got chains, food and extra winter clothes for the travel. Kept checking the forecast, and the day before departure both weather channel, Visitmammoth and Mono county sheriff issued a blizzard warning for the exact same days of our travel. The sheriff's office clearly stated to postpone any unnecessary travel for safety reasons. I contacted the management to try to reschedule our visit to a later date in April, got a short NO reply, since their booking policy doesn't allow any modification within 14 days. Sent the sheriff's and weather notifications to kindly ask again to be more flexible due to the extreme conditions. My husband tried to reach a manager, it took him two days. Finally he said the road is open we should go and hung up on my husband. They are not even willing to reimburse the cleaning fee, that clearly won't be needed as we are not there. In my opinion the loss caused by the extreme weather should not just be suffered by the guests. If I was a condo owner I would try to reschedule or at least give a partial refund or a credit towards the next booking to try to compensate. There are so many ways to keep guests happy and willing to return, StAnton's management clearly just cares about their money. Anyway, we are never going to book again here, luckily there are other businesses around Canyon lodge. read more

When we arrived, the bathroom light didn't work, the toilet wouldn't fill with water, the shower/tub wouldn't drain and the sink leaked. Additionally, despite the hefty $150 cleaning fee, the place wasn't clean. Corn nuts under the main table. The staff eventually fixed the light and toilet but why weren't these fundamental issues not resolved before check-in? Either the maids aren't informing management, management isn't responding or the owner isn't taking care of the unit. I left several messages for the manager at St. Anton. She never called back. I called again and she said to send an email. I summarized the issues in an email and never heard back. We've stayed at St. Anton many times over the course of 20 years. It's very conveniently located but not well maintained and management doesn't seem to care. Unfortunately, for these reasons, you've lost a customer and we will not be returning or recommending St. Anton to friends. read more

We stayed here during the days before the Christmas and had wonderful time. The apartment was nice, well-appointed, clean and spacious and being an end unit, had lots of natural light. The location is phenomenal (we literally skied back to the building!) Most above all, the staff was amazing. On our departure date, the road was closed due to storm so we headed back to the property. Since there was no vacancy, the lady at the front office was gracious enough to let us know that they would prepare the clubhouse for us to stay there if needed. Thankfully the road was reopened later that day and we were able to make it back home, but we will never forget their willingness to help us. We will be back and will recommend this property and this unit to everyone! read more

I have been coming up to Mammoth Mountain to ski for about 18 years. Stayed at St. Antons and had to write a review. I think it truly is the best condo complex in the town. The first reason of course is location. Being able to walk across the parking lot to ski is wonderful. Coming back to eat lunch, or to grab an extra layer is so convenient. I have stayed here before but not in a few years. The change in the look and feel and in the attitude of the staff was fantastic. Small things like upgrading the sheet and the towels from the "standard" condo rental quality were appreciated. The staff were great also. Everyone who helped us was courteous, friendly and made us feel welcome. Really no other place to stay as far as I am concerned. Also we stayed in lucky #13 - really provided all the comforts of home. Great one bedroom unit. read more

We just got back from a 3 night stay here and it has the best location! It's walking distance to Canyon Lodge and with great snow, you might even be able to ski back! It really has such ease of loading and unloading all your gear. You drive right into the covered garage and you never actually step outside. This is extremely convenient if it's howling wind & snowing. You go through the inside corridor, up some stairs, and find your door. We stayed in A-15 and I booked it through stantoncondos.com. All the condos are the same price, no matter what the interior looks like. The best technique is to look at all the condos available when you're traveling and you can find the most updated and comfy condo, at no extra cost! One downside, if you are on the first floor like we were, you will most likely here the people above you moving around. We were unlucky to have the people above us, stomping around at midnight right above our bedroom every night. This kept waking us up so we didn't get completely restful sleep. Other than that, our condo was great! Next time though, I'm booking an upstairs unit : ) read more

The unit we stayed at was wonderful. All upgraded and thoughtfully done. The management however was so bad that it totally ruined the experience. Whatever you do, avoid Diana the manager. Everyone working there is afraid of her. She is mean and rude to guests. She didn't apologize or send anyone to clean the unit when I reported chattered glass in the carpet or the dirt and loose socks on the bedroom floor. Apparently the unit was never vacuumed. She gave us the wrong keys for lockers and without apology kept sending me out to try them. When returning, she just wanted to change the number tag on the key that wasn't working. As if changing the tag is going to open the lock!!!! She has been the most Unfriendly and useless manager I've ever met. The unit had very little amenities. One soap, no sugar or coffee or condiments. Too bad for the owners who are stuck with this management. They are loosing customers. With the low snow and the bad economy, I can see the poor owner taking the hit for the useless manager's behavior . read more

My family and I have just returned from a great week in Mammoth this week prior to Christmas. We had some trouble with our brakes on our SUV and possibly would need an extra day. I would give this place no stars if I could. The fireplace and heater that was promised was not working. We were freezing all night and all they could offer us was 3 tiny space heaters. The managers, Diana and Andre were not only unhelpful but extremely rude. Andre said if the heater was not fixed in a day we would get a refund for the night. When we followed up on this they very rudely said that there was nothing they could do and that offer to refund us does not stand. Worst management I have ever dealt with to be honest. The owners should find better managers that value customer service and have some respect for paying customers. I wouldn't wish dealing with Diana and Andre on anyone. They not only promised something they went back on, but they did it in the rudest and most unkind way possible. We paid for a place with heating, we got no heating and no assistance. We had to follow up multiple times and the last time we did, Andre told "I don't know if they fixed the heater, I manage 84 units." If you are looking to book this place, DO NOT. On top of all of that the "newly renovated apartment" we got the oven was disconnected and didn't work. We had to pull out the oven and reconnect it ourselves. Additionally, none of the silverware or pots and pans were clean. Wouldn't be a huge deal if they at least had a sponge for us to clean everything. If some thing happens while you're here you're out of luck and there will be absolutely no hospitality or help. You will quit literally be left in the cold to deal with it. It has many windows, with nice views and feels more spacious compared to other units I stayed previously. You can't beat the location, as it's under a five-minute walk to the mountain. We love St. Anton! We started coming here when our kids were little and they grew up loving summers in Mammoth! Now that the kids are older and are starting families of their own, we make it a point to stay at our old stomping grounds. Most units are newly remodeled and gorgeous! I have my favorites and Cloud #9 it!I love the 2 jacuzzis, the pool, and BBQ for our gatherings. They even have a recreation room and a sauna. In the winter, you just walk out and you're at Canyon Lodge. I love the front staff, who are always there to help at a moment's notice! It's not ritzy, and there's some variation between units depending on how well the owners stock the kitchen, etc. but generally very comfortable and convenient. Our family has been coming to Mammoth for something like 20 years, and St. Anton is our usual lodging of choice. Great location right by Canyon Lodge, underground parking, and a short drive from all the restaurants, theaters, other attractions in Mammoth. We usually stay in a two-story unit with a kitchenette, living area, bathroom, and master bedroom downstairs, and an ample loft upstairs with another bathroom and two beds. Five of us have plenty of room to mill around. Very comfortable and prices are reasonable. Complimentary wireless, which I am using at this very moment. Definitely recommend. read more

St. Anton is a hidden gem among the more highly-publicized condominium complexes in Mammoth Lakes. My family has been visiting Mammoth Mountain for decades and we've always felt most at home when staying at St. Anton. Sure, there's the Westin - the more modern alternative down the road - but we continually choose St. Anton to hang our hats at night because of the warm, home-like atmosphere. Why? So many reasons... Location: just steps from Canyon Lodge, we don't have to worry about driving or taking a shuttle to get to the lifts -- and when we're tired, we can literally ski/snowboard right to our driveway. With just a couple of rides on key lifts, you can be at Main Lodge, Eagle Lodge, or McCoy Station in about 20 minutes (depending on lift lines and level of skier/snowboarder). If snow-play isn't your thing, it's just a short distance from The Village and Downtown to take advantage of many restaurants or other events happening in town. Plus, the Austria Hoff restaurant and bar is right across the street, so we have a source of good food/drink without having to pile into the car or navigate parking. The units: We've stayed (or have had friends stay) in a variety of units (mostly in "A" building, ironically) and each is individually owned and decorated by private owners. Therefore, no two units are the same, but each usually guarantees great beds, a fully stocked kitchenette, large living room area, and access to a pool, spas, sauna, and recreation room (pool table and arcade games). During the summer, nothing beats sitting out on the balcony (each unit has one) and enjoying the afternoon breeze. Larger family? Get a unit on the top floor, which can accommodate up to six people. And with underground parking, you can drive anywhere at your leisure without having to shovel snow or de-ice your windshield. Tip: The St. Anton website (www.StAntonCondos.com) offers "unit tours" online, so you can view photos of each unit's amenities and make sure you select the condo that's right for you and your family/friends. Best location on the mountain. Managers are incredibly attentive. Do not be fooled by exterior - stucco looks dated. Most units have been completely remodeled with granite countertops, gorgeous fireplaces, and much more. Many units include Espresso machines, video consoles and games, and much much more. Review the pictures and ask all questions when you book. Some units are completely pet free. No pets allowed, except for owners. Covered parking, so no digging out of the snow. About 100 feet from nearest chair lift (chair 7). Walk to the village gondola. And in the summer, the bike park empty a out across the street. You can literally park your car in the covered parking and never move during your stay. We loves this place so much, we bought one of the units. I stayed in a 1-bedroom condo with bunkbeds & sofa sleeper in the living room. Very spacious unit; large, nicely-stocked kitchen. Outdoor jacuzzi was a bit of a hike, but worth it. Beats having no jacuzzi at all. Booked through Austria Hof in a 1-night deal. Most other condos have a 2-night minimum stay requirement. Excellent location - very short walk to Canyon Lodge. The rooms are great. They are super close to the bottom of Canyon Lodge and a short driving distance from the village. There is an upstart room with a queen sized bed, a twin bed (has a trundle bed) and a Bathroom. Downstairs, there is a mini-living room with a couch, table, and television. There is a small kitchen with the most significant things you can ask for. The master bedroom is very small. It has a California king bed and a television. It also has its own restroom. My issues with these condominiums were the price and loud noises at night. We stayed for 3 nights and total came out to almost $2000! At night, all the noises from the ski resort are very loud and make it very hard to fall asleep. I think overall this is a pretty good place for a family to stay when taking a Mammoth Ski Vacation. read more

Seems all of the reviews here are older, but our 5-star rating is oven-fresh for Christmas 2012! Highly Recommend this facility. Stayed three nights, left the morning of Christmas Eve. Our condo, A-1, was as well-equipped as any I've stayed in (which is a lot!). Connie and Gary, the current property managers, were friendly, accommodating, attentive, and very dedicated to ensuring a pleasant stay. A significant storm piled up snow non-stop during our stay, and the crew worked endlessly to keep driveways and paths clear. That and the underground parking were a huge blessing. We had one problem, with the hot water heater (stuff happens!), and the response was immediate and appropriate. No excuses, and because the problem couldn't be fixed on the spot without a huge inconvenience, they offered a generous adjustment to the rate. I expected an argument, instead I'm a big fan. Please note: I'm not comparing this to the Ritz Carlton Laguna Beach or The Plaza NYC: the 5 stars are for comparison to other condo/residence properties of its kind. If you're looking for comfortable accommodations, well-maintained, walking distance to the lifts (we actually skied back to the condo- big storm), and exceptional friendly service, stay with Connie and Gary at St. Anton. read more

Great place to spend the week or just a weekend with good priceing, outstanding location and good service. The best part is underground parking and flexable rules on multiple cars. Full kitchen to save on $$, you can walk back for lunch saving $10.00 a sandwhich and $3.50 a soda. A family of four could save $50 a day off slope costs and a $100 a night easily (biggest perk IMHO-food alone savings could pay for the stay). What I found a little difficult was 1) paying for extended checkout or even requesting it 2) lack of flexability to extend vacation. We wanted to stay an additional day and since someone had booked sunday in the same unit we could not pay for another day (I knew I could book this through AstriaHof) but I just gave up on the lack of flexability, $200 I could have spent (we would have gone to any unit). This is the second time we have stayed here in two locations and both were just great, decorated nicely, stocked well and all was good.. I plan on coming back up in a few weeks....Look forward to it. read more

I found it disturbing, and it saddens me that lies would be posted on a public forum by Cathy. St. Antons is indeed a wonderful place to stay and bring your family, and we are looking forward to returning. This was our 3rd year staying at the St. Anton condos, and it has been a consistently good experience each time. What stood out this time was the friendly, welcoming and helpful staff: Stefanie, Bill, Connie and Diane. Before the stay, I worked with Stefanie and she made helpful suggestions that improved the visit. For example, when I mentioned that we were hosting a dinner for 25, Stefanie mentioned that we could use the rec room/party room which made it easier than holding the dinner in the unit. When we arrived on site after office hours due to snow delay, Bill greeted us and made sure we were all squared away (group of 70 total) and everything was functioning. When we had issues/questions he was available to address them. During the visit, when we ran into an issue with our buses being covered in snow that was not possible to dig out, Connie and Diane both did their best to assist. As background, we have stayed in different 2 bedroom units each year, and all of them have been well appointed, maintained and comfortable for our group of 5-6 adults. We like to cook, and have found the kitchens layout, appliances and cookware more than adequate. The location near the Canyon Lodge is convenient as others have noted. Highly recommended! read more

Wow! This place is amazing!! One of the greatest amenities is the covered parking. You don't have to clear off the snow before you head to the slopes. Also, speaking of the slopes, they're walking distance from the room! This is a great place to get a time share. We stayed in unit 68, and I was amazed to find that there were 2 fireplaces (one upstairs and one downstairs). Really kept the place nice and toasty. The cherry on top is that the managers are actually caring and thoughtful! They know all the renters by name and if you have any issues they're more Han happy to accommodate. If you're planning on going to mammoth, I definitely recommend these apartments to time share in!! read more

For mother day day weekend we booked a Grand welcome vacations listed property through Expedia at St antons. the unit we were in was listed as a pet friendly unit in 3 different areas. About 35 minutes after we arrived we received a call of course after we completely unloaded the car that the unit we were in was not pet friendly and that we would have to move or they would call the police and have us removed. We paid up front and this was not our mistake. We had to wait 4 hours to find out if they had another unit.. I'm disabled and we had to pack everything up and leave at 930pm. Check in was at 4. They did not offer us anything for ruining our vacation or for having to load and unload twice...no discount no help nothing and they were rude and threatening...Horrible customer service will never use grand welcome or Expedia ever again. Use Nomaddness rentals and mammoth inn. They are pet friendly and provide excellent customer service read more

Love our St. Anton Condo #12, and if you ever get a chance to get in (it's booked a LOT!, and we enjoy it every month), you'll appreciate in Winter AND Summer. Ride-in, ride-out for mountain bikers, right out of the underground garages, all downhill to the mountain bike shuttle in the Village, and back downhill from the top of the mountain to St. Anton; many summer weekends, the nearby chairlift #16 runs from our Canyon Lodge side of the mountain, just across the parking lot. Winter's tougher, you have to walk out of the garage about 100 yards to the nearest lift, and Canyon Lodge (with rentals, food, instruction, lift tickets, events and more) is just across the parking lot from the condos. If you don't want to drive at all, the town shuttle stops just about 150 feet away from St. Anton. Check it out, you'll love it too, and both owners and renters agree, it's the BEST place to stay in Mammoth, but I'm biased of course. Oh, and did I mention the Austria Hof, with it's great Happy Hour, terrific bar and gourmet continental restaurant is just across the street from our condos? Stumbling distance! Positives: The price and the location! We arrived on 12/26 and stayed in condo #59 through the First of January for five days of skiing. First off, it was great to have underground parking and a beautiful view of the mountain. Second, the location is a very short walk to Canyon Lodge and Chairlift 7-- no need to drive or rent lockers in the lodge. We walked to the lift in our ski boots each morning. Even better, we were able to walk back to the condo for lunch in the afternoon, rest our feet and warm up before heading back out for an afternoon session. The kitchen is stocked with plates, pots, utensils etc, plus a dishwasher for easy cleanup. The gas fireplace creates a cozy ambiance and quickly warms the living room. Located across the street is the rustic Austria Hof Lodge, where we ate dinner on two of the nights. It opens at 4pm and has a great happy hour and food (three course meal for $43 was a stellar deal.) The rack of elk was especially delicious! When we had a drainage issue with the bathroom sink, Mammoth Property Reservations was very responsive and quickly sent a friendly handyman to fix the issue. It was easy to do a load of laundry mid-stay ($2 for washer, $0.50 for dryer) and St. Anton makes a great effort to recycle, which was much appreciated. Negatives: You get what you pay for. We paid a little more than $300/night for the busiest week of the year and booked less than four weeks before visiting. The biggest downside of #59 was the mattress in the bedroom. The dated decor was not a big deal, but the mattress was as old as the burnt orange shag rug on the floor - very thin, old and simply uncomfortable. I did not think it was possible for a mattress to ruin our sleep as much as this one did. The old polyester comforter and a retro yellow fleece blanket brought to mind old blankets I now use for my dogs and only added to the discomfort. A new mattress and new bed linens would be a huge improvement and definitely add at least one star to the overall experience. The last three nights we decided to sleep on the pull out sofa in the living room. It was about as comfortable as a pull-out could be, and turned out to be better suited for a decent night's sleep than the bedroom mattress. Adding to the difficulty in sleeping was the noise from the condo above. The unit above #59 definitely was not carpeted. We heard chairs and furniture sliding on the floor, footsteps, dropped items, noise etc. In addition, the wi-fi was VERY slow (reminiscent of the dial-up days - forget downloading large files,) but I was happy to have something and would hope that if we weren't there during a week when the condos were all occupied that it might've been faster. There was no cell service on Verizon or AT&T devices so forget connecting via cellular networks or hotspots. read more

I have been staying at this place since I was a little kid. The idea that I can walk to the mountain in the morning is one of the BEST parts of staying at St. Anton's. While everybody else is looking for parking or even digging their car out of the snow I am walking up to the mountain to Ski. I have stayed in Unit 2 for the last 5 years and really enjoy that unit and suggest it. It has one of the most comfy couches and beds and I can tell you after a long day of skiing that is exactly what you need! I do have to say that Connie and her team are the best. We need another parking spot as my son came up and she helped me get one easily. I suggest staying in Unit 2! I feel its one of the best units their! read more

This is the only place we stay in Mammoth. We've been coming here over 7 years, sometimes multiple times a year. Great condos, underground parking, extremely friendly staff, and just beyond the parking lot of Canyon Lodge. Love it so much have looked into buying here. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. read more

Amazing place to stay! I am not sure about all the units, but the unit we stayed in Unit 2. Was gorgeous, such a gem! I loved that the upstairs was its own loft with a wall. The mountain decor makes it feel homey and the stainless steel up to date appliances really make it a place I request every year when I stay. The location too can't be beat too - walking to the mountain. I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend St. Anton and specifically Unit 2 read more
