I have been using the services of City Concierge for about 6 years now. Here is the thing about these guys.....they know these mountain towns better than anyone. They are relentless about finding you great deals on all types of lodging! Here is the deal....you can either deal with them one on one....or via their web portal (which is pretty slick). I typically choose one on one interaction (since I am picky customer). I send them my details....dates, locations, sizes and overall needs (pets, number of bedrooms, really nice or somewhat nice) and within a day or two I get an email with all of my options presented before me. I just pick the best option and within minutes, I get the confirmation details. It is that easy. What is truly nice about this service is that it doesn't cost you a thing. I have checked and even if you do it yourself, you are paying the same amount (most times....even more) and you have the added responsibility of calling every complex in the area to gather the information. Why not call the folks at City Concierge and have them do the legwork? The owner and his staff have DEEP inside knowledge of not only the area lodging, but restaurants, nightlife and activities. Plus they have inside lines on the cool stuff like....private chefs, mountain guides, etc. Heck, they can even stock your condo with all your favorite food and beverages before you arrive!! Who wants to go food shopping on vacation? And on top of all this, they are just nice people. It is a family run organization and they treat you like a king (or a queen)! Seriously....if you are looking to find a vacation spot in Mammoth, Lake Tahoe or Big Bear.....you would be crazy not to call these folks. read more

Had a great experience with CIty Concierge! We needed a last minute place to stay for a group of friends over the New Year's holiday and they really came through in the clutch. I was helped over the phone by Jefferson (who was very helpful, nice as could be, and awesome!) who gave me some options at a few different condo's. We stayed at the Mammoth Ski & Racket Club, which is just a 10 minute walk from Canyon Lodge. The location was perfect, we could all come and go to and from the mountain as we pleased. The condo (54) was very clean, cozy, had a great view of the mountains, and had all the kitchen essentials. We can even boast that it has the most comfortable bunk beds around! I have been going to Mammoth Lakes for skiing and snowboarding for over 20 years and would highly recommend using Mammoth City Concierge for accommodations. Thanks! read more

For this year's Mammoth trip, we decided to book one of their properties. All interactions with Jefferson were very pleasant, and he was able to answer pretty much every question from myself and my group. The rest of the staff were great too; it's just that most of my calls were made directly to Jefferson. The property we rented was perfect for our group. Everyone had an awesome time, and the trip went without any hiccups. Our group has organized snow trips for the past six years to different destinations (this is our 2nd time in Mammoth), and this year has been the best one yet! And most of that is because there were no unexpected surprises/problems/fees/etc. that come when renting from other property management companies and/or directly from owners. Since we're all from the Bay Area, we're thinking of making Mammoth a second annual trip in addition to our regular snow trip, and City Concierge will certainly be our first stop. Our 3bd 3ba slope side Mammoth reservation was canceled by Natural Retreats two weeks before Christmas. Obviously they were unable to find anything with such late notice. A friend recommended we try our luck with city concierge. Jefferson did his absolute best to find us the closest property he could, and then when our plans changed again he bent over backwards to help us out when the other rental company refused to help us.
