    First message... three days later... NO RESPONSE FROM ANYONE-

    Where do I begin... it is 3 am and I am up for a second night in a row because the thermostat automatically drops to 71 and it's literally freezing but let me begin from the beginning of this trip. I WILL ABSOLUTELY UPDATE THIS REVIEW ONCE IF I EVER HEAR FROM MANAGEMENT. I also decided to leave tonight and not stay one more night due to it just being unbearable. I had to book a hotel and pay more money which would of been avoided had someone just responded to my messages. Day 1 ARRIVAL: Corridor: Walls were filthy- not sure of this is a tactic to keep your deposit but I will update and see. Kitchen: Pans were put away with food still on them. I had to literally wash the pans. The same with the grill it had oil and wasn't cleaned. Spider webs all over bar area. The chairs are literally coming apart (straw is falling apart and is dangerous) and will stab you on the butt when you sit. The straw in one literally poked through my pants and pierced my skin. Be careful! Washer: It has mold! The door to the dryer was literally placed with no warning that it can collapse on you. I am glad I didn't bring a toddler with me. Bed sheets: Loft- I had to rewash one set because it was stained. Master bedroom: the thin cover has HOLES ON IT (gross!) I think with the $1.5 K paid maybe they can afford to replace it. Master Bedroom: Bathroom has mold on knobs. Knobs are $20 common!It is pretty disgusting. They do provide some stained towels and toilet paper. Under the master bathroom was full of pet hair!!!!! I brought a mini poodle. All of us where full of pet hair which appeared to be from a labrador or retriever. The windows don't lock. Most of the latches are completely broken. There is a bunch of junk in the closet. WiFI: UNSTABLE! I called way in advance to ask about the WiFI and they said they had not issues. I had to use my personal hot spot for most of my stay. Outside door lock- It took me a long time trying to figure out how to lock the condo since no instructions were provided. I called every number provided and no response. I called the emergency number but Sara did not know how to use the lock and said that the maintenance guy had other matters to handle. She was polite and tried to help but Not being able to give me a solid time when someone could come and help since it wasn't an "emergency" was not okay. I thanked her anyway. She asked me to leave the condo open and that he would lock it at "some point" during the day. I ended up having to use YouTube and managed to figure it out. I called her back and let her know I figured it out but we ended up missing our reservations and had four very unhappy kids. I am not sure why management did not response. I would hate to say that I was dismissed due to my last name (Spanish)... not sure. I am a world traveler and will say that this is the worst and most neglected I have ever felt and that says a lot for someone whose visited multiple countries. I have stay in Mammoth every year; this unfortunately was the worst stay and most expensive out of all of them. They are QUICK to respond prior to your stay but once you arrive you are completely ignored. Positives: Top floor bathroom was nice. There was toilet paper and towels.

It had been a long-term dream of our family to purchase a property in the Eastern Sierra to serve as a hub for all of our mountain adventures. Teresa helped make our dream come true. She was patient, kind, easy to work with and took the time to really understand what we were looking for. Since we live over 300 miles away, we needed someone we could trust to have our interests in mind while we were at home. Teresa proved to be extremely trustworthy. Her non-pushy approach and "I'm going to find you the perfect property" mentality was exactly what we were looking for. She was happy to take all of my calls and chat about properties as they came on the market (or even sometimes before they came on the market). She FaceTime'd us while walking properties, sent videos and pictures. When asked, she always offered her honest opinion which I came to really trust and respect. Ultimately, Teresa found us the perfect one-of-a-kind cabin that has been just what our family needed. We truly feel like we have been blessed with a little slice of heaven of Earth. Almost every conversation about status and issues related to the escrow were because I asked, not because they were doing their jobs and pushing information to all parties. Numerous exceptions during the course of the escrow and each was handled worse then the next. The problems were some issues with the second party but no much in the way of notifications were sent. Again on checking the status it was a pull of information not a push. I have worked with many other escrow and everything about the interaction with the people that worked there was near rude. Problems happen during an escrow but it is the escrow companies responsibility to notify the parties and keep information related flowing, they were a zero and bothered when asked. The inyo-mono people lacked transparency at every stage of the transaction. Deliverable were late and while they scrambled to close the escrow, it felt like I was dealing with incompetent people that really did this as a sideline. I had to ask many times for information with terse answers and when asked for time frame for deliverable they were never directly answered, again unprofessional. I saw terse and near rude conversations via email when this information was requested. This is Unacceptable for any business and only escalates my frustration. The entire transaction felt super unprofessional and every interaction as a customer felt like I was asking for a favor. Escrow closed, and a day later no closing documents. Had to ask for them, why do I need to do this? If they were ready send them don't make the customer reach out and ask. Again, why? Their is not a lot of choices, but I would NOT recommend these folks for any reason. I have close many homes and business transactions and have never seen such unprofessional people that were just plain BAD at their jobs and serving the needs of the customer. Nothing short of creating a very stressful and frustrating experience.

According to the manager of the business, they charge $500 as a cost for the preliminary title reports that they generate. Typically, this means that if you are attempting to buy a property and your escrow involves this company, they will enforce this fee despite never disclosing it in the transaction. When questioned about the charges, they point to a line in the first page that references a section of the Insurance Code in California that does not include any specifics about the charge.

The…read morephotos that were sent before we leased it were completely different than the gross state of the house that reminded us of a college fraternity house, carpet and rug stains throughout, and dirty towels littered around the home. The doors looked like a 100 pound dog scratched the paint off from top to bottom. The washing machine was filthy and even after doing a tub clean was covered in what looked like dog hair. The stove is ancient and one of the burners didn't work. The house had one hand soap, one body wash, one conditioner bottle, and one kitchen towel we found after scouring the house (despite being leased for the entire month). This was the worst rental we've had in all our years of renting homes and condos in Mammoth or any other ski desitation for that matter. Considering how much money we paid for this house, it was not just a rip off but frankly borderline illegal to charge. Despite us laying this all out for them, they had the nerve to charge us for the entire month of utilities that we didn't even use because we refused to stay more than one week in the disgusting house. The company should be reported and shut down for illegal practices.

We always go in November to start the ski season off, and we were speaking to a guest where we usually stay about the possibility of getting a place. We called just to investigate, and Nicole said she would drive out to the resort where we were staying and answer any questions. She helped us develop a plan of attack on getting the right property, and she knew just what we were looking for, and in the area we wanted. By this time and with her help, we were ready to act and we had her put an offer on it, site unseen. We trusted her judgement on what we were looking for and she told us it matched exactly what we wanted, so we went with it. From start to finish, she was incredible! She got us into escrow so fast, and even though there were two other contingencies with the seller, we opened and closed the deal in under a month. Better yet, she arranged everything from afar for us and kept us constantly in the loop with all that was happening during the sale. There were hardly any hiccups between what we were asking and what the sellers were asking, and I believe that was because of Nicole and her excellent communication skills. We now have the beautiful place we've been dreaming of, and we can't thank her enough for all of her help! Yes, we highly recommend Nicole at Resort Property Realty.
