The two sloped beams I bumped into before I moved to the couch. .

The facility itself has a fabulous location and is fairly decent. That said, there is a broad discrepancy between units. Our unit is 100% original, and has never been upgraded, in any way. The largest bed is in the loft and sits 2 feet off the ground in the largest bedframe I've ever seen. Both sides have little stairs to get you in bed. Seriously!! Combine that with a sloped ceiling and exposed beams, not if you're going to the beams but when. I was so afraid I was going to fall out of bed in an unfamiliar room that I slept on the couch. The shower has very little water and as I said all appliances etc. are ancient. Never request room 128. Jerry Mickelson you need to upgrade your unit!

We came up for the President's Day holiday weekend. It's a great place to crash while riding for the weekend, it's not luxury, just nice place near the Village (which is key for 'stumbling back'). We got a one bedroom which sleeps six; two in the bedroom, two on the pullout in the living room, and one per each of the two bunk beds. The bunk bed area is a nice touch, it's its own little side area that closes up... so if you have six, you'll be good to go. The location is great... it's about a half a block from Whiskey Creek and about five minutes from the lift. You can just walk alongside the road or you can cut through the path in the woods, as my friend dubbed it, "Rape Alley." So just be careful at night, it definitely is dark and if you are a female, definitely have some friends with you. The only downside side is a little thing... they're a bit stingy on towels and toilet paper. Upon check-in, they give you a couple towels, even though they know you have six in there. You can't just get more towels (enough for six), you have to walk out to the office and "exchange" them. There was a big hallway closet where they could have just put some in there. And the toilet paper ran out super quick (when the office was closed). The worker gladly gave us more but you have to ask. My same friend joked, "Here are you keys and toilet paper... don't sh-t too much!" But like I said, they're super friendly and it's uber cheap for the location. I'd definitely recommend. This is a perfect place for a group trip and unlike other condos, you're not driving around the city tracking down and returning keys.

Reviewing for 903 LINKS WAY…read more Second time staying at Snowcreek, I'm sure it won't be our last. We got a 2 bedroom condo for our party of 5. Parking was easy to find & the unit was conveniently located on the ground floor. Nice landing with hooks to hang our coats & stuff. Good size living room & dining area with sliding doors that open to the patio. The kitchen was well equipped with everything necessary to make nice meals. It even came with a welcome package of paper towels, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, & some kitchen towels. Freshly laundered towels were also provided. Small TV, WiFi included. Rooms are decorated just like any typical cabin would. Here's the thing, if you have a bad back... highly suggest you sleep in one of the (2) twin beds in the other bedroom. Those feel a little more firm than the master's which felt like sleeping on cotton candy. Haha. Futon pulls out into a bed, but we just moved the mattress to the floor since it was pretty worn out & you can feel the springs on your back. Dining chairs are wobbly. Just needs a little updating for comfort. Otherwise, we love it here.

Prices - Place was way overpriced in my opinion but was out only option to house 4 families. Location - Not too much of walking distance to lifts or shopping, Short drive for sure or you can walk down the hill and catch a bus. Parking - 2 in the garage, 2 in driveway and guest parking available. Complex - Modern, clean and still under development. Condo - Place was new and well kept up, good decor , all kitchen supplies provided, view from deck and some of the rooms. Overall nice place but pricing is kinda high.

Mountainback at Mammoth offers cozy condominiums that are walking distance to Mammoth Mountain Ski Area's Canyon Lodge for convenient winter skiing/snowboarding. If you don't feel like walking, this complex is right on the Blue line bus transit (stop #51/52) for conveniently getting around the Mammoth Village area. You can also transfer to other bus lines that service the rest of the Mammoth area. The main office staff were really accommodating. The check-in time was originally at 4pm, but they let us check-in a couple hours earlier. This worked out in our favor because my friends and I were able to put down our stuff and head to the mountain for some afternoon skiing/snowboarding. According to their website, the premises also has a swimming pool, 6 jacuzzis, and a BBQ area. Me and a couple of friends stayed at condominium #111, which is located in Building 11. For more details on this property you can refer to this site: http://bit.ly/9H7eVG. It essentially had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. I really liked this unit because it was recently renovated and it had everything we needed to make it a comfortable stay. From in-room laundry to internet access to a full kitchen (stove/microwave/refrigerator/dishwasher) to a wood burning stove, this place had it all. Best of all, it had an awesome entertainment section. There was a huge LCD TV with PS2, Blue-ray player, and a huge collection of DVDs. YES, that's right a PS2 and a Blue-ray player!! This unit has perfect sleeping room for 6 adults. 2 people can sleep on the master bed, 2 people can sleep in the room with 2 twin beds, and 2 people can take the sofa couch. If you need extra blankets or pillows there are plenty in the closet spaces. Although there isn't a daily cleaning service like at a hotel, the complex offers daily towel changing service. If you don't want to use the towel changing service you can wash your own towels using the in-room washer and dryer. A three night stay turned out to be around $800. I would definitely come back here in the future. == A MUST TRY! ==

There is a nice old fireplace in the living room, which feels a bit crowded w a dining table. Also, in winter w snowbanks the sign for office is not visible if you approach from Canyon Lodge.

We use the office to rent ours out on a limited basis, so I qualify that this review is only for our unit, #50, which is an updated 2bd+loft, 3ba mammoth condo.[see www.mammothluxurycondo.com]. Basically, I'll tell you the pros and the cons of our unit and the Meadowridge development. PROS: *Close to Little Eagle [chair 15]; shuttle stop right outside complex [2nd stop from Little Eagle] *Across the street from great golf, Sierra Star in the summer *Incredibly private, mountainy feel with lots of trees and a walk over to the bluff gives you amazing views of the sherwins. *Our unit, as well as some others, is completely remodeled. A 3rd bathroom was added, so everyone has a private bath. *Well maintained jacuzzi, pool and sauna area. The outdoor, covered jacuzzi is kept at a respectable 102 amongst views of the trees. *Great layout for 1-2 families CONS: * "Walking distance" to little eagle is bit of an overstatement. It is a trek. About 1/3 mi, uphill. *These units were built in 1980, so some are still stuck in 1980. Including the ever popular "just-a-sink-instead-of-full-master-bath" wierdness that some mammoth condos seem to sport. *Our unit's heat really only heats the downstairs well, you need to use the wood stove to heat the upstairs; my guess is other units may be the same. If you are not comfy lighting a fire, the living room & the loft will be chilly. *Relatively further [considering mammoth is a whopping 3 square miles total] from the village or nightlife if your group is all young-uns

We went with four people and for 4 nights it was $90 each person, with food included. It is in the middle of town with a Subway, Rite Aid McDonald's all walking distance so if you ever need anything its a walk away. The pool sucked, wasn't heated and the jacuzzi was OK, I like my jacuzzi burning hot specially when its snowing outside, lukewarm doesn't cut it! They had just recently upgraded the TV's to brand new flat screens that was cool, we watched the Lakers game there and made as much noise as we wanted and not even one complaint. We were supper loud how do i know this? Well a night of drinking and something else i cant say, will sure enough make a crap load of noise. The rooms are dorm based similar to those of UCLA smaller kitchens bigger rooms, a few beds (4) and a fire place which was very effective against the Mammoth cold! We were willing to share a hotel room, but then again we all wanted our privacy at the same time. Our friend went on a search and came across this condominium for rent. At $160.00, a night split four ways that was a deal. Our condominium was number "222"and from looking at the photos on the web site, it looked to be warm and cozy. We arrived in Mammoth around 2:30am; the complex is not too big, which was nice. Our condominium was located upstairs and not too far from the street. Laura and I went in first with our things, and WOW the place was big and had all the accommodations of home. Two bedrooms (one full and one loft) Two full bathrooms Fully equipped kitchen for your every cooking needs Bath towels and linens Flat screen TVs (in the living room and bedroom) PS2 with games Children DVD's and books Electric BBQ Complimentary firewood for the wood burning stove Electric heating Free Wi-Fi Full living room (with chairs and a sink in couch) As we were unloading stuff and looking around, Laura and I realized that there was a light on in a room but the door was closed. Both of us freaked each other out about what might be behind that closed door. At first, she was going to open it, and then we decided to have one of the guys do it. Hello BF to save the day! BF looked at us as if we were crazy then cracked a smile and went to open the door. Whoever cleaned the condominium left the bedroom light on. So glad that there was not some weirdo in there! We laughed it off and started to unpack our things. BF and I took the loft bedroom; the stairs are pretty steep and windy walking up with your luggage. Got a great workout that whole weekend too! Our area had plenty of space. Two full size beds, a torch lamp, and an old school TV that only had three cable channels a DVD/VHS and plenty of kiddie DVD's (womp womp)! Now for the truly creepy part of our stay, I noticed that there was what looked like two boards put up over some windows. BF poked at one of the boards that were covering the space and it budged a little. Figuring that it was secure and that it was probably either another unit or a storage space we did not think much of it. As I went downstairs, we heard this loud bang, the board that BF poked had fallen into the other unit (or storage space) all three of us came rushing up to see what happened in the loft. To our surprise, there was another room complete with a single bed, a creepy old school desk in the corner and a lamp on the floor. I now definably cannot sleep with that board being inside that room. So Laura said she would go inside and try to put it back up. When she went in she realized that "other unit" was actually part of ours and it had a lot of crap stored in there (extra blankets, paint cans ect). I was so happy that we were able to put the board back up. Now for the lowlights on the place (outside of the above mentioned): -Bugs! Yes, I know it is the mountains but come on inside the house. This poor wood wasp was trapped inside our loft area window. He never came down to bug us. However, his buzzing scared me whenever I was sitting on the floor in our area. -Dead bugs on our comforters. -Our urber uncomfortable bed that come to find out was an extra mattress that was tossed onto our mattress. -Bring your own TP. We started out with only one. No bueno when there are two dudes in the house! -The heater works great! If you are staying in the loft, by night 2 you are sweating worse than in a sauna. -Loft bathroom has an electric wall heater and a super bright vanity mirror, the combo of the two plus taking a hot shower makes it super warm (think mister toads wild ride hell scene) -The place is in bad need of some fixing and a lot of TLC. -Couch is made of feathers, which poke and hurt; we decided to use the extra comforter to put on top. Parking lot had a lot of spaces to park at anytime of the day or night; the complex was quite during the day and night, which was nice. And everything is within walking distance too! I would totally come back and stay here again, just probably not in unit 222! Eeks!

You could easily sleep 8 here comfortably. - They have ALL the cookware and cutlery that you would expect at home (some airBNBs skimp on this), along with a basket of fruit, water, and energy bars, and also some things you don't normally see like tin foil and olive oil. - Fireplace was nice - There is an outdoor BBQ which is great for larger groups. - Very clean, well-maintained. Owners have good taste. - We had no trouble parking at all, and there is a giant tractor on site that did a good job scraping the ice and snow away. - You can walk to the Village, albeit a little treacherous with the ice. The cons: - Maybe it was the altitude but the oven took like 50% longer to cook. It's older so I think it was under temp. - The walls are paper thin. Our neighbors arrived at 10pm on our last night with a bunch of kids in the loft and I swear it sounded like they were inside our unit. I could hear every word, clearly. So if you are sensitive to noise when sleeping, I'd suggest earplugs or headphones. - It's an older model so the kitchen is pretty tight, and the showers are made for small people (wasn't a big deal). We would definitely recommend!

Our corner unit comfortably accommodated four of us with plenty of room to spare. Our unit had two bedrooms (one king size bed and one with a queen sized bed) with en-suite bathrooms, a sleep loft, an an additional bathroom on three levels. Nicely updated and well-maintained. Clean linens, cozy, Wifi, and nice full kitchen. Units come with lockers to store your ski equipment which are located in the interior hallways. Not much to say about the rest of the complex since we didn't go beyond our unit. Got lucky with a parking spot right by building entrance. Minor observation not uncommon at this time of the year; Interior hallways a little musty, damp and drafty. Not sure if there was a delay in maintenance, but the snow was not cleared from doors nor exterior stairs making coming and going a little treacherous. Would definitely stay here again.
