The condo has tiled floors so it stays nice and cool in the summer without having to use the AC. We've only had to open a window and it cools everything down quick! We've never gone up for skiing so I'm not sure how much heat you have to crank up to keep it warm. It's so close to town you can walk to buy groceries or to the outlets to shop or to various food establishment for dinner and drinks and no worries about drinking & driving back. The only thing I wish they allowed are dogs. Our dog loves coming to Mammoth but we've had to leave him at home these last couple times because of the pet policy. Otherwise it's a fantastic place to stay.

Multiple bedrooms and bathrooms were fantastic and David and Jacob were totally accommodating. The check in instructions were fantastic and the drop off and ski lockers were perfect. Not to discount you are a 100 feet from the gondola to canyon lodge and the village with a ton of restaurants, shopping and stores. We could walk to dinner in a minute and come back for poker night. Also an outdoor bbq at each place made dinner prep for our large group really easy. There is a ski rental place right in the village which was perfect and easy. Would definitely come back. Encourage anyone who is looking for an easy vacation in mammoth, with access to everything to book treehouse 1 and 2 or either one of you have a smaller group. Also, forgot to mention. Each level has an elevator so you don't have to carry your luggage up stairs. Huge benefit. And to top it off my son left his wallet there and David mailed it back to me! Craig

It's just that when you spend this much money, (6 nights@ $1332) you expect everything to be in working order. The first day we were there, we looked at the fireplace. It turned out to be a wood pellet stove. Of which I was told a week before we arrived to bring my own wood for a fireplace which I packed a large heavy trash can in my van which took alot of room. (First inconvenience).After reading directions on how to work it, we got the pellet stove working a loud noise emitted from it, which I assumed was the auger moving the pellets into the fire box. So loud you couldn't hear the television even when the volume was turned way up. We immediately turned it off and tried again from the beginning of the directions with the same effect. Same the next morning also. I called Vacasa and reported the experience and the representative listened to it by which they said they would get someone to fix it. After 2 days of reporting it to Vacasa, they said a repair man would contact us. He contacted us on the 4th day of our 5 day vacation and said he would come by. Upon hearing me coughing from a cold I developed on the way to Mammoth, he said he would be by to fix it after we departed. Bummer. No stove the whole vacation, an amenity of great loss. Oh, well. 3rd day in, we had accumulated a few dirty dishes in the dishwasher. I decided to run the load, and the dishwasher ran without water. I checked the water supply, under the sink to see it was turned on. Being a California general building contractor, I knew where to look. I reported it to the repair man at the same time as reporting the stove. He wouldn't come for the same reason even though I told him I was better and over the cold. He heard me coughing and said he had been very sick 2 weeks before and was scared to get sick from me. 2nd bummer, no dishwasher for vacation. The 3rd day, the coffee maker broke down. Thankfully, I had brought an expresso machine with us. We sucked it up and had fun skiing anyway. I, as a contractor, have to have a finished home in order and inspect the said property to make sure all is in working order. Apparently, no one has inspected this unit in a while, and you need to run all appliances to make sure they work. Needless to say, we were unimpressed. We left yesterday. And now I'm seeking a 50% refund or same appropriate reduction for a future stay at one of the same units in Hidden Valley in the future. A Supervisor Sarah called me a week later and said she'd call back and never called back. Ever.... Please respond ASAP. Unit's door is not illuminated so you have to tap in the code to the light of your cell phone. Bad start 2. No instructions for WiFi. Not even under the WiFi repeater. Inexcusable, I had specifically requested working WiFi. This is getting worse. 3. TV system has totally inoperative remotes. The main control has no battery door and is missing a battery. Stealing one from another remote did not cure it. Housekeeping must be incompetent. Upstairs TV remote has no batteries and it only gets Channel 3 with no way to control the cable box. Not acceptable. What's good? It is warm, water flows, electricity works. Let's see what happens tomorrow !

The room was very nice, included kitchen, living area and one bedroom with king bed(needs new carpet, but what rental doesn't) clean sheets, clean dishes, everything functioned. The unit is right when you exit the elevator which makes getting to and from the car easy. The balcony overlooks the spa and pool, beautiful! Right out the door you go down a flight of stairs to exit into the village (restaurants, shopping, gondola). The topper! My wife left her diamond necklace which i had just bought her for our ten year anniversary in the room after we left and hadn't realized she forgot it until we got home (390 miles away). We contacted mammoth front desk, they within an hour had gone back to the unit and contacted us via e-mail that they had the neckless YA HOO!!! Just received it in the mail today, Thank You! Honesty and integrity go a long way, we will definantly be using them for our next mammoth vacation. p.s if your worried about the kiosk deal, don't be. The attendant at the Chevron station was very helpful when I felt like an idiot and couldn't figure out the blinking light is were my key was after I punched in my code.

Pretty simple and easy. The rates here are much more reasonable than the prices to rent a condo in Mammoth. You can visit during peak season for not that much money. We went here in March during many good snow years with friends to go snowboarding. Both of our families would rent a 2-bedroom condo and it was spectacular. Even during holidays, they have a flat rate. For a 2-bedroom condo during Christmas and New Years it was only about $150/night. The same kind of condo in the village at Mammoth during that time would probably go for about $2000/night. The condo was awesome. It includes daily housekeeping and it's less than a 2 minute drive to the June Mountain. It had a master bedroom and one bedroom with two beds. It also had a huge living area with floor-to-ceiling windows. We could see the ski resort from our condos in the morning. How awesome is that?! It snowed over a foot of fresh powder while we were there and the next morning you could sit in a chair with a cup of coffee in your hand around 6 AM watching the ski patrol perform their avalanche control work, which is what I did. The condo also had a full kitchen with a microwave, fridge, and utensils. We had a huge balcony with a BBQ which we did not use because we were snowed in. Overall, I would stay here again. They planted grass but you are not allowed to walk on it and God forbid you have a pet, they are not allowed to walk or pee on the grass. They are installing railroad ties all around the perimeter to beautify the place but if you arrive after dark, you might trip and go flying over them. Manager has Ring watching people come and go and they have a night watchman that shines his light into the condos and on the balconies. It's big brother watching you and not in a good way. I heard they are trapping squirrels because they damage their precious trim. In 13 years in the complex, I have never run into such city-folk yahoos they want to make it like LA. Some units are nice but like others said, some are right out of the 70s. There are so many nicer places to stay.
