We got here at 6:30 on Friday night. The place was jumping and we were seated in the back room or they were serving two other tables at the time. My daughter and her husband ordered wine and I stayed with water this time. We shared fried zucchini as an appetizer. My daughter wrote a shrimp scampi with risotto, my son-in-law, order a pasta dish with sausage and broccoli rabe And I ordered a Pescatore and pasta dish which includes rigatoni this time as well as clams, muscles, calamari and shrimp. My daughter finished off at dessert we were in and out by 730. The fireplace was on and they were slightly decorated for Christmas. Service was great. Food was delicious merry Christmas.SalE New Rochelle

My husband and I went here on a Saturday night with no reservations. They were able to see us with a short 10 minute wait we had a drink at the bar and the bartender made a delicious espresso martini and was super friendly. We were seated at a great table with a bustling dining area, the staff was very professional and very attentive. We've been here before and know that the food will be excellent and service as well. We ordered the clams nada for appetizer which are my favorite here and the shrimp scampi and their scallop special both delicious and fresh. I highly recommend making reservations and if you're in the mood for traditional Italian dishes.

Bruschetta

I came here for a private event where I enjoyed a bunch of dishes. The restaurant space was spacious and definitely reminded me of an old school Italian restaurant. I had the hot antipasto appetizers (calamari, fried zucchini, stuffed mushrooms, eggplant parmesan), bruschetta appetizer (tomatoes with cheese on toast), linguine alle vongole (pasta in white wine sauce with clams), house salad, veal Mamma Assunta (veal with prosciutto in a wine sauce), and strawberry shortcake. The calamari and fried zucchini were lightly fried and not greasy. The linguine alle vongole was garlicky and the clams were fresh. The veal was thinly breaded and the sauce was flavorful. The strawberry shortcake was moist and the strawberries were fresh. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive. I would come back for dinner if I'm ever in the area.

The food was mediocre. All of the dishes lacked depth and flavor. The service wasn't good either.

Stopped here after a game while in the area for work. I randomly came across a video of dishes from…read moreGiorgio online and made the reservation that day in anticipation of traveling to New Rochelle. Just me, which I was hoping there would be a bar so I could sit at it rather than take up a whole table but - was sat immediately and ordered a drink. Inside is very small - Long and thin with dark ambience and low lighting. Liked the atmosphere a lot. As a table of one, they brought out table rolls with a bruschetta type spread to put on them. This was good - though butter would have been fine too. The waitress explained specials, and I went with the handmade mozzarella cheese sticks for my appetizer. These were very good. The marinara was also tangy and tasty. For my entree I ended up ordered both the cacio e pepe and the special chicken Parmesan with tri-color sauce. The cacio e pepe was VERY good. Al dente noodles, the sauce was about as perfect as you can ask for - just the right balance of cream and pepper. Wow. The tri-color chicken Parmesan was incredibly good too: thin and crispy chicken, a thin layer of cheese melted on top, and the three sauces on top of that providing a tapestry of tasty flavors: marinara, vodka, and pesto. I could eat that all day. So good and a MUST HAVE if you travel here. The dish also came with a small side of vodka sauce on penne. I ended up with tiramisu as dessert, though they were missing a dark chocolate item which would have been perfect. Sipped a coffee and paid satisfied. A 5-star from me is pretty rare - so again: GET HERE - IT IS A FLAWLESS PLACE.

Loved it here! We…read morewere looking for dinner spot and found this place. I'm so glad we stopped in! I ordered tea, calamari and the prosciutto pizza. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I also tried the truffle pizza. I loved the ambiance here. There were lots of tables, lots of spots at the bar, and the pizza oven was right in the middle of the dining room which was very cool to see. I loved it here and can't wait to come back!

We even ran into an old friend who lives nearby, and she confirmed what the vibe already suggested, this is very much a go-to spot for locals. Parking is manageable. There's metered street parking, and if that's tight, there's a paid lot around the corner with plenty of space, which makes things easier. Service was solid. Our waitress had clearly been there a while and carried that local familiarity, comfortable, knowledgeable, and attentive without overdoing it. To drink, I ordered The Perfect Gentleman, and it lived up to the name. You immediately pick up the chamomile aroma, which gives it a really smooth, refined feel. A well-crafted cocktail. We started with the Crema Di Burrata and Arancini alla Piemontese, both were excellent. The burrata was fresh and creamy with just the right balance of seasoning, and the truffle and mushroom risotto balls delivered great flavor and texture. For dinner, we shared the Goat Cheese Pizza. While the combination of walnuts, balsamic red onions, baby arugula, and truffle honey sounded great on paper, it came out a bit on the drier side and felt like it was missing that extra punch to bring it all together. We wrapped up with Hazelnut Chocolate bonbons, which were a nice, sweet finish to the meal. We went in not overly hungry, but between the apps, pizza, and dessert, it ended up being more than enough. Overall, it's easy to see why this place has a strong local following. Definitely a spot I'd recommend, especially if you're in or around Eastchester.
