I have been WFPB for almost 4 years. I was trying to participate in a plan that could supplement and reduce the amount of my cooking time. However, I did not like the taste of most of the dishes. I'm on my 4th week of the WL Bundle and so far I Love the food. A couple of items I've added some seasoning to but they mentioned that on the website so I wasn't surprised. The food came on time, well packaged and the customer service has been great. So far I've lost 13lbs. This would probably be more if I didn't cheat on the weekends but it is what it is. It's amazing to me that a company like this with expensive product, and product that can make you sick if it sits on a truck somewhere for days, could care less about communicating with the customer. I really wanted to try and feed my son and I some healthier options but the foods are hit or miss so too expensive to just try them. The Moroccan Stew I am trying to choke down because I don't want to waste it but 20,000 pounds of raisins in a savory dish just is, well, gross. I just dug out a half a paper towel full. The Millies chili is pretty good and I loved the granola. But just not worth it for meals that aren't totally just yum!! The Mac n Cheese was creamy and my son liked it. You just have to season with salt n pepper. $169 for my bundle and I have lots to get through still. Sigghhh. read more

I am new to plant based whole food diet. Food is good. I am on strict diet for fat burning and weight loss. There is very little information what is a serving size, mirco-nutrient break downs, ingredients. The customer service of someone on phone is not good. I bought to the product for healing inflammation and hypertension. I have a loseit app and I was able to find dietary info. It gave nothing for what a serving size is. A whole bag or whole box? A third of a cup for a morning soothe is a joke. Even medical supervised diet food does not do that. The cost per serving is very high and bad service. read more

I'm not sure what all these negative reviews are about. MamaSezz has amazing ratings and reviews everywhere but yelp (check Facebook)! My favorites are the Chick'n Salad and Veggie Sausage. My whole friend group loves MamaSezz or orders from there frequently. This food helped my friend lose 18 pounds in 4-weeks and helped another go from pre-diabetic to in-the-clear. My mother has 4 autoimmune diseases and after going plant-based and eating MamaSezz foods she is off all of her medications that she has been on for 40+ years. This food heals :) read more

I decided to try MamaSezz with my S.O. and their mother which was an awful experience. We tried the Scalloped Potatoes which were highly reviewed on the website and all had one bite before discarding the rest. My MIL felt the potatoes tasted like cardboard, I felt they were slimy like a snail and my S.O. felt they were too salty. The best part is that I found out why there are so many positive reviews on the MamaSezz website. My S.O. tried leaving a review twice about the potatoes and it was never posted despite being submitted. I believe the social media manager filters out negative comments and does not post them. We have checked 72 hours later and the comments are still not posted. This company is a rip off and I regret that my S.O. paid $150 for meals for themselves, myself and my MIL. I find that in many reviews that the tasteless of the meals is justified due to being "whole food" and "plant based" but I think this company is just unethical from their small serving size to censoring negative reviews. I strongly advise against this company. read more

Our shipment finally arrived and it was carefully and beautifully packed so despite the delay (which was understandable given Covid, snow and vaccine transportation overloads) the food was still safe to eat. Had our first dinner tonight and despite no sugar, salt or oil it was good. We are trying this for a few days and will post our final assessment in a week or so. read more

Food is fine you just have to season it yourself, delivery isn't terrible but the reason for the low rating is their god awful website. It's a pain to even swap or skip a delivery. Every time I try to swap a dish it send me to some "beet bucks" bs. I have been trying to skip this delivery for 10 minutes now and I'm still stuck on the same loading screen (my internet and phone are fine) whether I use mobile or laptop it's the same issue. Not to mention how difficult it is to get to the nutritional facts on the website. It has made wfpb diet a lot easier but the website is such a waste of time. Terrible customer service. Way overpriced. Poor delivery service. I had an order that was delayed due to weather issues but they never sent me tracking info when it was shipped. I was waiting for the info as I thought maybe there was a longer delay than what was anticipated and finally contacted them about a week later through the website as they don't have any phone contact available (first red flag). They said it was delivered. I responded that I hadn't received it. After trying to figure out what had happened I searched my property and found it in the back yard. After more attempts to talk to someone in person they simply said "we delivered it" and made no attempts to make it right. I am out $169.00. Never again. read more

I LOVE MamaSezz meals! They are a tasty way to eat in a health promoting manner. My favorites are Millie's Chili and Hungarian Mushroom Soup. The Mac 'n Cheese and Mac Sauce are also delicious. I'm a terrible cook and very much appreciate having this option. I was really excited when I moved to Colorado last fall and discovered that they ship here. I also love their commitment to the planet by providing a FedEx label to ship the packing materials and empty packages back. The food is good, however, I was missing an item in my last order, and Mindy REFUSED to send it out to me. She offered me a refund for the missing product, but in order for me to get the missing product, I would have had to pay ANOTHER $19.95 in shipping fees. I asked if they would waive the shipping fee, and Mindy said NO. This is FAR from 5 Star Customer Service. I will be looking for another company that believes in "Doing Right" by their customers. Got a $50 gift certificate to here. We live in the same town as their store. For $50 we got 2 soups and eggplant parm. Soups could be split for 2 people. The food was subpar and the prices for what you get is outrageous. We could of went to a quality restaurant( Peter havens, duo, top of the hill, etc) in town and spent the same amount for better and more food. read more

Terrible. I expected and paid for prepared meals. What they sent was ingredients. For example something called quinoa stack is supposed to be served "with your favorite sauce." What? So I can't eat it unless I have some kinda mystery sauce? Other dishes have serving tips making it clear that we're supposed to add other ingredients to constitute a meal. And they use weird inappropriate ingredients. For example something called Moroccan stew has two kinds of raisins. Raisins in an entry. It makes it gross and inedible. Tried them once. I live in Virginia and found MamaSezz when I was searching for plant based meal delivery. Their food is delicious and is perfect for those on a plant based diet or wanting to try it out. Even if you sacrifice one or two meat based meals a week with these meals, you won't be disappointed with the great selections. One thing that really impressed me with the business is that they provide a FedEx return label so you can conveniently send back the ice packs and other items. I love Mama Sezz, The food is organic, nutritious and delicious. I now am strictly vegan when eating at home. And since I'm single and hate to cook for just one this is perfect. Everything is cooked and ready to be heated. I know so many people who are now eating Mama Sezz because of the taste, convenience and healthful properties. And yes, you are not going to like every dish. As someone previously wrote, they don't like the quinoa stack but there are many, many other options. I recommend it all the time. read more
