This place deserves every single star. We found this place originally on Booking.com and I'm so glad we stayed here. It was magical. The location was absolutely perfect, right in front of Taboo and Tantra beach clubs. You could walk to some the best restaurants in Tulum. The staff was attentive kind and genuine. I know because I unfortunately got food poisoning. The offered to go the pharmacy for me and made me teas smoothies and homemade remedies. This place was so magical that my boyfriend proposed to me here. Carlos and Stephanie and the rest of the staff, thank you for an unforgettable experience. The GEODOME we stayed in was far and away from all the noise, we slept great! The AC worked perfectly and it was incredibly clean. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Tulum

We were in Tulum for our honeymoon, and, in planning, I had thought we would go to all the places people talk about when they talk about Tulum: Hartwood, Casa Banana, Gitano, Cetli, etc. But after being sent away from one restaurant for not having a reservation and experiences the crowds and prices at the others, we decided to try different restaurants! Mamasan was one of those restaurants. We chose it because it was just down the street from our hotel (maybe a three-minute walk), and, when we had passed by it several times heading to town, it looked beautiful. And it was beautiful. The top floor was surrounded by bougainvillea. And the food was delicious, from start to finish. They brought us a free starter that was quite wonderful. Followed by two tacos as an appetizer (one fried fish, one fried shrimp), and two entrees - grilled tuna steak with mango sauce and Vodka pasta with seafood. Both were delicious. And our dessert, chocolate mousse with fruit squares, impressed even this girl that isn't too fond of chocolate! The service was also wonderful. And they had beers and tequila and mescal (we stuck with beer this night). It ended up being a wonderful, surprising, delicious meal. One that I would have again!

We stayed at this vibey hotel and 10/10 would stay there again during a cat 2 hurricane. The bungalows were secure despite winds blowing in from every direction, we had some water seep in but it was fine, the hotel and restaurant lost wifi for a day, and hotel and roads were cleaned up by the following day. We had a few drinks before the storm hit - Berry Fizz, Kibok Kih (friend got it twice), and this egg white cocktail, all good with a generous pour. We also ordered the vegan pasta and bruschetta (I think), bruschetta was ok but the vegan pasta was bomb. Highly recommend even if you are not vegan, had to fight my friend for the last bite. The staff is great, friendly and attentive. There are a lot of mosquitos but you are in the jungle so that is life the rooftop seating is pretty cute too! Sorry for the bad photos, they were all screenshotted from videos.

Absolutely loved this place. One of my favorite breakfasts in town. So many gluten free and vegan options and everything is organic and yummy. Their coffee and mocha is to die for.

Decent drinks, shitty service. The waiter was pretty rude and unwelcoming. The rooftop is nice but you can't see the sunset.

We had a post-beach snack here and to be honest it was just okay, but the rooftop jungle vibes and aforementioned drink/service sitch made this a totally fabulous experience.

We ordered the omelette caprese, fruit plate, açaí bowls, and a breakfast bowl. **The açaí was the best I've had in Tulum.** The açaí was so light and fresh, with a pure açaí base, not blended with yogurt or juice like most places. Adding a side of granola made it perfect. The fruit plate was great because you could mix everything into the açaí and my friends really liked the breakfast bowl and omelette. They also brought us teas in the cutest teapots. Open, airy, beachy, and super relaxed with super healthy food options. My friends and I really enjoyed our slow breakfast here

A laid back wood fired pizza spot with a super cool, relaxed ambience and the friendliest energy. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and honestly I've never had anything like it. It's insanely good. Pair it with their habanero sauce and jalapeños and it is literally fire. Perfectly cooked, bold flavor, unforgettable. We also ordered the Caprese with apples, almonds, and beets and wow. Such a fresh and different take on a salad. Every ingredient tasted so clean and vibrant. My tummy was genuinely happy after this meal, which says a lot. It's not far from where we're staying near Azulik, which made it even better. The vibe is effortless, chill, and welcoming. Bonus points for the two local cats, who are absolutely adorable and add so much charm to the place. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the menu has so many choices that there is truly something for everyone. If pizza is your love language and you're anywhere near Tulum, Boccanera is a must visit.

We put our name on a list, but no phone number was given so really it's a wait for a table or come back type of situation. We ended up leaving and coming back 40 mins later and were sat quickly outside. The pizzas are OUTSTANDING! I think the reviews all say that and it's the truth. The crust is Neapolitan style thinner crust but the flavor is just spot on! The toppings and sauce are well balanced. The roasted chicken was a great addition to the vegetarian. If they made cheese sticks with a marinara sauce with that crust it would be a HUGE seller! The green salad was pretty standard and not much that was memorable or forgettable, just good and as expected. Unfortunately, the bruschetta was a huge let down -- we literally received halved cherry tomatoes on a piece of bread. They served it with olive oil to drizzle, but that did not even come close to what we expected. There are a few cats that roam the outside patio, but they don't bother you much. The staff was welcoming and we had good conversation with the server even for it being 20 mins before they closed.

We did make a reservation, although the space was surprisingly empty at 7pm. We do know we came as the season is winding down, but for how good this food is, this place should always be packed. Our waitress was delightful - attentive, helped to explain every dish and the dishes all came out quickly but nothing felt rushed. The vibe is very jungle chic with open air seating, slightly covered by large leaf structures. Lots of candles and mood lighting. The menu offered quite the diverse selection of food options with a focus on traditional but elevated Mexican flavors. We started with some signature cocktails - my husband the mustachio whiskey drink and I had the wildfire. Both were perfectly mixed with great flavors. I will note the wildfire was more tart than spiced and did come with a fun flame element (sadly no pic). Also of note, the passionfruit that is used in this drink is a local fruit that is far more tart than other passionfruit you may have experienced. If you like a tart refreshing drink, this is your pick. We shared many dishes - the first was the pork rind with street corn dip. WOW. The pork rind seasoning was absolutely delicious and the serving size of street corn was epic. So rich, so delicious. We also shared the fried avocado - truly, the local avocados are heaven sent and the pumpkin seed purée was perfectly developed and spiced. Next up, larger dishes included the corn ravioli - this was so rich, and swimming in delicious truffle flavor. The raviolis were huge and there were 6 of them. The foam and nest elements while very pretty were also equally delicious. Not something that I often say when it comes to foam on plates. Finally, we had the shrimp main - I cannot put into words how amazing this dish was. The sauce was spicy, garlicky, and clearly developed over many hours. You could taste the time put into this. The shrimp were so tender the heads and tails just fell off. It comes with a side of bread and you will want to soak up every drop of this sauce with the toasted bread. If you are looking for elevated local flavors that have been carefully and meticulously curated then you must have a meal at WILD.
