Very nice restaurant/bar/lounge located in Casa Malca. Venue - Great place with beautiful art, decor, vibe, ambience and amazing views. Prices - Priced in the higher end, but seems to be around the same with other Tulum spots. Service - Very nice staff and friendly. Drinks - Great drinks but need to have a lil more of a kick. Food - Great fresh food with great taste and presentation. Overall really nice place and recommended.

The food and the service are amazing. I had the tomahawk steak and my wife had the lamb. Everything was perfect. Our waiter Daniel was the best. The music was great too.

Philosophy is the all day restaurant located at Casa Malca. If you're staying as a guest, it's where you will enjoy your complimentary breakfast each morning. Sometimes a comped brekkie at a hotel is super basic - not at Casa Malca! Every morning you are treated to coffee and fresh juice, a fruit plate, fresh breads, and a choice of breakfast entree. I bounced around the menu a bit each morning, trying the omelette al gusto, the huevos divorciados and the huevos rancheros (twice - I couldn't resist!). The rancheros were definitely the winner in my book. The plates were perfectly portioned for breakfast - just enough to get me through the morning and tide me over until lunch. My friend and I also hit up Philosophy for drinks before and after dinner a couple nights. I was absolutely addicted to one of the wines on their menu - Familia Rosso Syrah. It was absolutely delicious and served at the perfect, just slightly cooled temp. Our servers were excellent each and every time and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Great on-site restaurant!

Entering Casa Malca already builds some excitement.. it's a long sand walk way with boxed plants on the wall. It opens to this huge outdoor entry way. But it doesn't stop there the waiter greets you with a smile and shows you around. This is the best experience I've had in dining .. we sat inside a dark romantic feeling room ocean front. The food was impeccable and I mean IMPECCABLE!!! The service matches the ambiance and after your done the wait staffs walks you around to all of the beautiful seating area and artsy rooms. This place was worth all of my money.

This was one of my favorite restaurants in Tulum! Right at the beachfront of the Casa Malca hotel. This restaurant had impeccable service and the food was incredible. We enjoyed every minute of it. The passion fruit and shrimp ceviche was delicious and looked so beautiful. The cacao pappardelle with roasted pumpkin sauce, xcatic chile essence and crystal shrimp was delicious! The vegetable lasagna with jocoque, cream cheese, goat cheese, carrot, zucchini, portobello, spinach, egg plant, tile of grana padano cheese was also very tasty. We loved everything! At the end the tequila macaroons were such a nice treat. I loved the cocktails too.

The food was unbelievable. Some of the best I've ever had! This was recommended by one of the owners of our hotel as her favorite place in Tulum, and it didn't disappoint. It was an explosion of unique flavors, even for all the vegan/vegetarian food. This is a must go!

I hardly drink and did not get even a baby buzz from the drink. The Margarita was OK. The service was OK. Each drink was $300 MXN or around $17 USD. Maybe I visited on an off day? There's plenty of other places in the area, this place would be a last resort.

We ordered the omelette caprese, fruit plate, açaí bowls, and a breakfast bowl. **The açaí was the best I've had in Tulum.** The açaí was so light and fresh, with a pure açaí base, not blended with yogurt or juice like most places. Adding a side of granola made it perfect. The fruit plate was great because you could mix everything into the açaí and my friends really liked the breakfast bowl and omelette. They also brought us teas in the cutest teapots. Open, airy, beachy, and super relaxed with super healthy food options. My friends and I really enjoyed our slow breakfast here

They were out of the filet so we were talked into the tomahawk over the ribeye. We requested med and it came out very rare. We had hem put it back in to cook longer and it was still super rare. We weren't even able to finish it. The sweet potato was covered in granola but felt more of like raw oats. Mashed potatoes were decent but honestly felt like they came from a box. I hate to write this I just needed to share bc the 5 stars felt over deserved. Vibe was there and this was the nicest restrooms I have seen all week. However the water for the sinks wasn't working initially. The spicy sauce they served was the best part. Drinks were also decent but small and when we reordered it was missing things the initial drink had. Just overall not impressed for the price. Ok just got home. Everyone is puking so I just changed the rating to one star. There is no way this restaurant has 5 star ratings, must be fake
