    Shrimp dumpling noodle soup $5!
    Cristina C.

Wow! I haven't been here in over 5 years and the food was as good as I remembered it to be. I have ordered takeout from here a couple of times and was satisfied every time! A must get is the house special Ma Ma noodle soup! Everything goes so well together and the broth is delicious! Another must get is the scallion pancake. The best scallion pancake I have ever had! Super crispy and delicious! They are closed on Tuesdays and is only on Grubhub for delivery!

This is the spot!! Little hole in the wall with some of the best Chinese soup I've ever had. Get the sweet potato noodles they're bouncy and tender, perfect pairing for the spicy broth. The braised beef is melt in your mouth tender and all for only $11!?

I came to grab an order of the shrimp dumpling noodle soup to go. The place is very small, but there is an area by the window with chairs to sit and eat. There was a pile of dumpling wrappers and a mound of stuffing laying out on the table. The lady was very nice when she took my order. It was ready in a few minutes. I couldn't wait to taste it. I loved the shrimp dumplings. The noodles were too soft. The broth was very mild tasting. Overall it was very satisfying. I'm not sure I would go out of my way to come back here.

House Special Ma Ma Noodle Soup - so good! Wow I'm still thinking about it

Cute small shop tucked away in the corner of a street. The restaurant is small maybe barely 500 sq ft but on a cold rainy day when we visited, it felt welcoming and warm. Although there are no fancy decorations nor furniture, we opted to dine in since there weren't others when we visited. We did see multiple people coming in for take out orders. The ambiance feels like a small coffee shop/food stall with window seating but instead they serve delicious comfort Chinese food. We got: - House special Mama Noodle 10/10 - Basil Chicken Ho Fun 10/10 - Herbal Tea 10/10 Everything was so tasty here. It's the perfect comfort food. The Mama Noodle is the best version of beef noodle soup I've had. I never liked how simple beef noodle soup is but this version is loaded with everything. You not only get the tender & juicy beef cube and homemade noodles - you also get curry fish balls, tofu, hard boiled eggs, topped with plenty of vegetables! It's so good especially on a cold rainy day. The perfect dish. We wanted to try a dry noodle dish as well and the basil ho fun was delicious! One of the highlight was the house made (ground pork/shallot?) chili sauce that she gave to us along with some black vinegar. Definitely ask for some of that sauces with any order!! It tastes good on everything.... The herbal tea has the right mixture of bitter and sweet. Other places either have it too sweet or too bitter. It's so satisfying to wash down everything with the herbal tea at the end of the meal. Before you go, don't forget to grab some frozen house-made dumplings to cook for later. We got 30 pieces and it was only $12. The owners were very generous with the fillings. I never want to buy frozen dumplings from grocery stores anymore! You have these options: - shrimp wonton - pork dumpling - pork chive dumplings The shrimp wonton and the pork chives are my favorite!

This is a small restaurant with mainly take away orders. There are 4 chairs total. We decided to eat there since we were ordering house special soup. We ordered Hot and Spicy Wonton, Minced Pork Noodle & House Special Ma Ma Noodle Soup. Spicy wontons were full of meat and delicious. The minced pork noodles had the same spicy bean sauce as the wontons. I ordered the house special Ma Ma noodle soup with potato noodles. The soy sauce egg was a tad sweet than what I preferred. There were 3 chucks of beef stew and 3 fishballs. Beef stew was tasty. Service was good as Ma Ma was very attentive.

This is a mom and pop restaurant. It's on the sidewalk street. You can easily overlook if you are not looking for it. The owner is very friendly. This place has cook and frozen dumplings and wontons. I was surprised to see frozen wontons so I ordered some to take home. I got the Tom Yum Noodle and the mixed pork noodle. Both noodles are very flavorful. If you stopped by the restaurant, don't forget to try the hot oil.

I was craving dumplings in this cold weather so I stopped by Mama's Noodle House! With features in the NYT, they pride themselves on their home cooking, soup noodles, and dumplings. I got try their 3 dumplings (2 in soup form, 1 in fried form). Factoring the differences in preparation, I still think my favorite was the pork and chives ones just because I liked its seasoning profile better. The wontons were different from the ones I'm use to at more traditional canto places. This one is more pork-forward (less shrimp and white pepper flavors). The N4 I got was without noodles but I still got a generous serving of dumplings and veggies. The dumpling wrapping was fine - got a little mushy towards the end but still encased everything nicely. My partner's mama house special noodle was solid. The braised beef pieces were tender and well-seasoned. Noodles, fish balls, and the soup were good and pretty standard. Be sure to try them with their chili oil!! Not only is it warmed up but also with meat pieces packed with soy bean and chili flavors. Its not that spicy but complements the dumplings and noodles well! This mom and pop shop does have some seating but not a lot. They were super nice and a plus if you speak Cantonese. Cash preferred but they do have Zelle!!!

We came here after work one day and didn't really know what to expect. We ordered shrimp curry rice, scallion pancake, and chili wonton noodle. Everything was so flavorful! We love everything we ordered! It's manned by husband and wife duo. The lady is the sweetest lady ever! She was so welcoming. They are just so cute! Can't wait to come back

The short: as soon as you walk into Mama's Noodle House, you can feel the food is made with love. If you sit and eat, and come back a second time, mama remembers you & you feel like you belong in her restaurant. Can't recommend this spot highly enough - everything is delicious. The longer: this is a relatively small spot, but mama has tables and chairs and will set you up if you want to sit down and eat, but it seems many also do takeout. Simply, everything I've eaten has been delicious. All the dumplings and wontons -- especially the fried dumplings and the hot & spicy steamed dumplings -- are incredible. Their noodle dishes (dry) are next level. Their soup broths are incredibly flavorful. They even make their own lemonade! You should definitely come here if you're in the area!

The restaurant is the size of a shoebox. I'm surprised at how much food they're able to crank out. Not only because of the size of the restaurant but because it's essentially a 2-person business. The husband and wife are cooking, taking orders, handling payments, everything. I would like to see them have more cooks or help, but honestly, this restaurant won't fit it. The rice cooker is out in front of house by where customers sit and eat lol. I did have to compete with people waiting in store and the pile of online food orders. So even though I ordered ahead of time on the phone, I still ended up waiting 45 minutes for my food when I got there. I can't blame them really because they're so popular, but if I didnt witness how swamped they were and how small the space was, I'd definitely be upset. The lady gave me a drink on the house for waiting too. The food was absolutely amazing and affordable though. The spicy Minced Pork Noodle was out of this world. Highly recommend that.

$4.5-Scallion Pancake 10/10 it was crispy & wasn't oily, taste better with the curry sauce $5.5-Fried Pork Dumplings (6) 10/10 it was thick & the chill oily sauce made 10x better $5-Curry Fish Ball (8) 8.5/10 the curry wasn't spicy it was flavorful but isn't worth $5 for only 8 $3-Soy sauce egg (3) 2/10 adding more sauce or letting it sit longer will taste better $4-(2x)Honey Lemon 4/10 didn't taste honey & it was a bit bitter from the lemon Total: $24.50 BEING CASH, or you can just Zelle The owner gave us a free Homemade Honey Lemon drink, she was the sweetest person

Food was decent and there are a lot of options on the menu. Would I come here again? Maybe to try their rice dishes after reading other reviews, but I wouldn't come back for the tomato based hot pot. Ambiance 3/5: A little chaotic. A lot of kids (middle or high schoolers) probably because of the cheaper prices and according to other reviews a discount with student ID. Another large party came in and started moving tables around and people that appeared to be regulars seated themselves. Service 4/5: We were seated immediately at a table for 2 on a Saturday afternoon. Food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. It became busier towards the end of our lunch and it was hard flagging someone to bring us a check. Food 4/5: Decent. Main selling point is its affordability. I regret not looking at other reviews before coming here as people say their rice dishes are pretty good. We got their pre-made tomato hot pot soup base, GF got the original soup base, and some stir fried potatoes. - Tomato hot pot 3/5: I did like this at first. I tried the original soup base and like it more so probably pick another base if you come here. No complaints about the ingredients you get to add though, those were delicious. I chose Udon, fatty beef, fish filet, honeycomb tripe, and enoki mushrooms. - Stir fried potatoes 4/5: They look like fries but they're not crispy. Very flavorful though; salty and spicy.
