He canceled the reservation on Mother's Day and was fully aware of the stated $25 per person cancellation fee ($100 total). He contacted the restaurant and was initially told the refund would be processed within 3 days. After following up again 3 days later, he was told the employee who handles refunds was out of the country and that he should not have been told 3 days. He then received an email from Thaddeus confirming the cancellation fee was only $25 per person and stating he could use the $100 as credit toward a future visit if he showed the email at the restaurant. However, the additional $150 in charges was never addressed. My son replied to the email asking about the extra charges and still has not received a response 3 days later. At this point, he is handling the matter through his bank's fraud department. Very disappointing experience, especially with the lack of communication and accountability.
