Portions are very generous! I ordered the dolsot bibimbap and usually this is enough for one person, but they gave so much here that it could've been shared with my party! It was a lot, but good. I was able to try out the wings and kimbap as well and it was all pretty good. No hate. Service is as expected. Not going out of their way to give an outstanding experience. Just enough to get you what you need. There aren't too many tables and I can see the larger table in the middle being shared by different groups cafeteria style. Overall, good spot to eat and grab some Korean food on a cold rainy day.
Food was good, but service very bad. Had to call over the server multiple times to get items that we needed to eat our meal. The seafood pancake, ban ban fried chicken, and vegetable bibampap was ordered. Only 2 small banchan dishes was given. I thought cost was high for portion size and service. 2nd time here to give it another try. Will go to my go to Korean restaurant in Bellevue and Issaquah instead.
The ambiance is modern with a few casual tables, and it felt cozy overall. I came to meet a friend around 7:45 PM on a Tuesday. The kitchen was open, clean, and maintained good hygiene. The server was incredibly friendly and sweet. Since I arrived quite early, he kindly offered me a hot tea, which was very tasty and refreshing. I ordered the bibimbap, which was quite good everything appeared fresh, and the egg and flavors were enjoyable. The best part was that the server didn't rush us at all, whether it was with the order or the check. We ended up staying for nearly two hours, talking about everything openly.
Solid spot for Korean food in Bellevue! Would recommend coming with more people so you can share. I came here with 2 friends for dinner on a Tuesday night around 6 pm and it was still fairly empty. It was completely full by the time we left with 1-2 groups waiting, so it's definitely a popular spot. We came in the middle of a heat wave, but it didn't feel like the restaurant turned on their AC, so it was super hot and stuffy inside. I was hoping to escape the heat by coming to the restaurant but sadly that wasn't the case. On top of that, they gave us room temperature water at the beginning, and we had to specifically ask for iced water. If it's that hot inside and out, at the very least they could've given everyone iced water by default... Anyways, moving onto the food. We shared the following items: Veggie eggroll ($6.99) - pretty standard Ban ban chicken ($24.99) - didn't realize their fried chicken would be in the form of chicken wings and not drumsticks, which is what I'm used to. The menu doesn't call out that it's chicken wings either, which would've been helpful. I liked it but thought it was pricy for the portion Galbi-jjim bibimbap ($24.99) - my favorite dish of the night. Galbi was flavorful and they include plenty of egg and veggies to mix together with the rice Katsu mayo over rice ($16.99) - I personally found this dish bland but my other friends liked it. I didn't think there was enough flavor in the chicken and egg to eat with all the rice they give you
I first saw Mama's Kitchen while visiting another restaurants in the plaza. I always like trying Korean food restaurants and this one was very good! We went towards the end of lunch and were seated quickly (there's no reservations, only a wait list). While the seating area isn't large, they're able to fit quite a few tables in and there is an open kitchen at the back. Everything was very clean and the staff were very efficient in bussing tables. They were also quick in taking our order and the food also came out to us quickly. As for the food, I have my favorites and had to get the soondoboo soup. I'd say this is higher on my list of good ones, nice flavor without it being too spicy and I only wish the bowl was bigger. We also ordered the beef bulgogi over rice, also with excellent flavor and quality meat and the seafood pancake. The pancake had lots of seafood but I wasn't used to the panko-like breading. Altogether very good and would go back next time I'm in the area.
Very authentic Korean place. Small place and the wait around dinner time can be hectic since they are understaff and waitlist is confusing. But the food was great. I particularly like bubibamp. Lots of veggies and they even have some jelly like veggies that I rarely seen in other places. Their kimbamp are huge with lots of filling and less rice. But would skip on the tofu soup. It taste a lot like msg with lots of chili powder.
I'm writing this review based on two separate visits. I wanted to share my experience--especially with the Half & Half (H&H) chicken--and see if others had similar thoughts. During my first visit, I ordered the H&H chicken and the hamburger steak. The hamburger steak lacked seasoning and had an unpleasant ground meat smell that wasn't masked well. But the worst part was the plating. The plate was full of water from the salad, which had run into the rice and meat. Every time I picked up a piece of food, I had to shake off excess water--it was really off-putting. The H&H chicken was the most disappointing. I took most of it to go, and while packing, I noticed all six pieces were wings. I had already eaten a couple, so I was confused--how could there be more than two wings from one chicken? I looked around and noticed other tables who ordered the same dish didn't get just wings, so I'm not sure what happened there. On my second visit, I ordered the chadol jjolmyun, veggie kimbap (their best and signature item), and chicken katsu. The chicken katsu is basically the same as the hamburger steak in terms of sauce and plating--just a different protein. I'm not a fan of their sauce. I wish they offered something with more kick or a tangier flavor. The overall taste was bland, and I quickly got tired of it. The chadol jjolmyun was pretty good--plenty of veggies and nicely cooked meat on top. The initial presentation was scrumptious. However, the noodles were buried at the bottom and hard to mix in. Also, the flavor leaned greasy due to the meat and extra sesame oil. A bit more vinegar or something refreshing would have balanced it better. The veggie kimbap remains my favorite. It has a minimal rice-to-veggie ratio and is packed with fresh ingredients. The side of pickled radish kimchi adds a nice kick and helps reset your palate between bites. Overall, I still feel the prices are a bit high for what you get, but since everything is expensive these days, I might come back occasionally. When I do, I'll stick to their signature items like kimbap and tteokbokki.
Mama's Kitchen is a small mom and pop shop serving Korean classics. We came here for lunch and was lucky to get a table right away. It was quite a wait before we got our food but they were all delicious so all is well. We got the seafood pancake, the gyoza, the ban ban chicken and a cup of sikhye. - The seafood pancake was great, it had a different texture compared to pancakes that I've had in the past, not better or worse, just different. - The gyoza I couldn't remember, it was mostly consumed by our kid. - We enjoyed the ban ban chicken; I liked their yangnyeom sauce. - The sikhye (traditional sweet Korean rice beverage) was pretty good but is an acquired taste, so some might not appreciate it. They seem to be known for their kimbap so I would try that next time.
Exactly what it says it is: Korean comfort food. Prices a bit on the higher side, but good portion sizes and we liked the food a lot. When you walk in you immediately get served hot barley tea. Menu on QR codes. Relatively fast service. Small restaurant that I can see getting pretty busy during peak hours. We tried the seafood ramen and the kalbi bibimbop. My only complaint is the "hot sauce" isn't spicy at all!
A cute little shop across from T&T supermarket. Pretty straightforward restaurant there's like barely any decorations but their food is legit! Got the jalapeño mayo and honey fried chicken combo and the kimchi fried rice with melted cheese. I was not expecting the jalapeño mayo to be sweet but it paired really well with the fried chicken! The honey chickens also really well balance and fried to perfection. I kind of expected the Kimchi fried rice to be spicy but it wasn't. It was actually really pleasant and you can kind of taste the wok a little. It was maybe a little too oily for my taste but that could also be the heap of cheese on top. Can't wait to try more of their menu!
Hearty and heavy comfort food here! My friend and I have mistaken this place for Mama Dough in Kent for the longest time solely because of their similar names, yet both serve different kinds of cuisine and are located in different cities. We had that conversation as we were driving to here, which is located in the same plaza where Chi Chi is. Oddly enough, the parking lot is massive yet parking was rough to find especially on a Friday evening around 5:30pm. Well, when you do find parking and get here, you're greeted with quite a plain white interior that has many tables for 2 to 4 people, and tons of K-pop music playing in the background. The overall place was really clean despite it being nearly packed when I walked in. The menu is offered as a QR code, and servers take your order when you're ready. We placed our order for food and then waited for quite a while, to the point where the two people who got seated after we did AND sat right next to us got all their food before my friend and I did, and we all ordered very similar things. It's because of this inconsistency of orders that this visit wasn't the 5-star visit it should have been. All of the above being said, the food slaps really hard for it being comfort food! We went overboard, as I usually do when I eat out: - I got the katsu mayo over rice as my main dish. The rice and eggs were quite plain, and the egg texture wasn't my favorite. The real winner was the chicken cutlet with their mayo drizzled on top of it. My taste buds were in love with the combination of tender, juicy meat, and a subtle hint of sweet coming from the mayo. This ended up being a lot and it was one of two dishes I ended up packing as leftovers. - I didn't eat my friend's galbi-jjim bibimbap in its entirety, but he did give me a large piece of the beef short ribs that came with it. Wow I could eat the meat by itself and I'd be satsfied, it was flavorful and juicy x1000! - We both also split a serving of ban ban chicken, which came with both original fried chicken and yangnyeom (gochujang sauce covered) fried chicken. Pieces varied a lot by size for both kinds, but it was still very satisfying. I took some of the original fried chicken to go as we couldn't finish what was left. All of these dishes were quite heavy, so come with a big appetite and maybe not go as crazy as I did. You'll have a great time eating here!
The rose tteokbokki is always a 10/10! The bibimbap was a first this time, you can't mess it up. But it wasn't the best I've ever had. The jalapeño mayo wings reminded me of the honey walnut prawn sweet sauce. I've been here multiple times and they never disappoint. The staff is always friendly.
Loved the food, would come back! Came on a Friday night - so busy inside! Waited ~5-10 min for a table. Kimchi cheese pancake - tasty kimchi pancake that was crispy and soft stretchy cheese inside. Ban ban fried chicken - the fried chicken batter was crispy with juicy chicken inside. Tasty on its own, then I ate the gochujang tossed fried chicken and it was sooo good, wished I had gotten all gochujang chicken! Also crispy outside and juicy inside. Tasty sweet and spicy. Galbi jjim bibimbab - bibimbab was juicy with the rice and veggies! Galbi jjim was sooo good and tender! If not for it being $20+, I'd get it to eat it everyday!! read more

I ordered the Galbi Jjim Bibimbap with a fried egg ($25.99), it was just okay in my opinion, definitely had better bibimbap before. The only side dishes they had (for free) were kimchi radishes, so don't expect a ton of side dishes that typical Korean restaurants offer. I've also been here before and have had some other items, I just feel like this place is more of a Korean Fusion place with all the cheese and rose ttokkbokki rather than traditional and that's okay if that's what you're into. The item menu is also relatively expensive, an 8 piece gimbap for $13.99 is a bit much for me, although definitely try this place if you want to. This place is a small restaurant with somewhat limited tables. I heard that this place gets relatively busy and has a 45+ minute wait on some nights, but luckily we came on a random Tuesday night so we had no wait. Also expect not a lot of service, although calling someone over for the check or more napkins is of course doable. read more

Have both dined in and done take out on many occasions. My workplace is also around the corner. Everything here is so well made and tasty, and comes across as very authentic Korean comfort food. My personal favorite is their Bibimbap but everything I have had is super tasty. The restaurant itself is clean and basic, and the staff courteous and efficient. read more

We love this place for the quick pace to satisfy our cravings. They do have a wait depending on when you go. Parking is also pretty tricky due to the parking lot size. We ordered the Banban chicken which was a mix of the battered fried chicken and one with spicy sauce. We thought the chicken were fried to perfection and came out juicy, piping hot. The spicy saucy chicken was our favorite though because it had a lot more flavor. The spiciness was not too spicy and was a bit sweet. The seafood ramen was pretty decently sized so it fed both of us. The ramen soup was good and packed with umami but the noodles were like instant noodles so I was a bit disappointed. Service was quick and efficient. This place does get to be noisy. Overall, solid place to get some comfort food casually. read more
A small restaurant in a strip mall in Bellevue, serving a focused menu of Korean classics. We came on a Sunday night before 7 and was able to get seated right away for our party of 4. It's a small restaurant, so folks are packed together and different parties might have to share a longer table. Our group wanted to do family style, so ordered 4 entrees and an order of gimbap. We ended up finishing about 2/3 of the meal, and had plenty to take home. Galbi-jjim Bibimbap ($24.99) had large generous amounts of short rib meat, and large amount of vegetables and rice. Except for the rice, everything is served cold, so after the mix, the finished product is lukewarm, which might be offputting to some (in that case, get bibimbap with the stone cooker). I thought the gochuchang sauce to mix with the rice was a bit too sweet (food that was towards the sweet side, seemed to be a constant with the dishes here). Spicy Pork over rice ($16.99) was OK. Pork shoulder in a hot gochuchang sauce, served over a bed of rice: it was perfectly fine, probably smack in the middle of a forced rank of all the variations of this dish that we've had. The Katsu Mayo over Rice was a pounded piece of chicken dark meat, experty breaded and deep fried, cut into strips. I wish it had more of the gravy/sauce poured over it. I'm beginning to realize that ordered Katsu is a pretty dependable way to get a good dish at the restaurants that offer it. Here it is no different. My two favorite dishes were the last: Mamas Kimbap ($13.99) and the Ban Ban Chicken ($22.99). The Ban Ban chicken are Korean Chicken wings, with have basted in yangnyeom sauce and the other half plain. It does take 35 minutes to prepare at the point of ordering, so we were prepared to save space to eat that last. It was worth the wait: very large chicken wings, double breaded and very crispy/crunchy. Even with the thick sauce, the coating did not get soggy. Because we ate it immediately, it will always beat any take-out Korean Fried Chicken order. Last but not least, the Mamas Kimbap was an engineering marvel: the rice around the kimbap was barely one grain thick, with the middle filled with classic kimbap ingredients. The flavors meshed really well...my only problem was making sure to open my mouth large enough to take in the large, round disc rolls. It was really pretty to look at as well...I wondered how many of the chefs could make this dish consistently. The only banchun was pickled radish (mu kimchi) which was really good. The chicken came with the required white chicken-mu. Service was fine. We had a self service water pitcher, to manually keep our glasses full. You pay at the table, and getting containers to take food home, was no problem. Good food, good service, OK value...Mama's kitchen is a winner. read more

The food is so good at Mama's Kitchen! I highly recommend the chadol jjolmyeon! The sauce pairs perfectly with the noodles, vegetables and brisket. The kimchi cheese pancake is really good too and perfectly crispy. There is usually a wait during busy hours and the restaurant is not big but there is a waitlist that you can write your name on outside. read more

Korean food is always a solid option when it comes to delicious flavors and textures and Mama's Kitchen fulfilled those qualities pretty well! We went on a Wednesday at around 6pm and were seated promptly. We ordered the Galbi Jjim Bibimbap, Dolsot Bibimbap, and the Seafood pancake, but I'll talk about the Galbi and Seafood pancake below: Seafood Pancake: When the pancake came out it was pretty interesting to me, it had a more gritty crust texture, more so than the standard savory pancakes I've tried before. There was a good amount of seafood (shrimp and squid, I think) and scallions through and the savory sweet sauce was a good complement. I guess one thing that surprised me was the grittiness near in some of the slices, it kinda was like eating small grains of sand - which was not enjoyable. I think it was just faulty two pieces because the other pieces were delicious. Galbi Jjim Bibimbap: There was a good quality of food in this dish! If you are looking for something filling this is definitely the option for you. There was a good amount of different textures in this dish as all the veggies provided a great contrast of textures. The short rib was really good! It was texture and fell apart with just a spoon, the flavor on it was just right - I really enjoyed the short rib in this dish. Overall, we spent about $58 on everything - the quality and food were definitely tasty and had delicious flavor. Though a bit on the pricier side, I would like to come back and try the other options - recommend you give Mama's Kitchen a try! read more
Anytime I have a random craving for kimbap, you best believe I find myself ordering from Mama's Kitchen. I've only ever tried Mama's kimbap here, but let me tell you, I have had it at least 5 times now and every single time it hits the spot! Each and every bite is absolutely delish and pairing it with the cubed radish kimchi makes it even more divine. I'm not sure what you're up to right now, but I know that you should stop what you're doing and head to Mama's Kitchen and try this delish dish asap!!! read more
Ordered the Mamas kimbap and galbi bimbibap. Both dishes had super fresh veggies. The kimbap had a nice crunch to it, but I felt like it lacked some flavor. I wish there was more seasoning on the veggies/egg. The galbi bimbibap had super tender meat, and was very filling (couldn't even finish the entire bowl). But again, I felt the flavor was a bit lacking and wish they gave more sauce to mix it. read more
Their mama's kimbap is definitely up there with some of best I've had. Attractive, large, neatly stuffed, and packed full of flavor. My rating reflects their atrocious service as I was picking up my takeout order. Imagine working in the service industry and you don't acknowledge someone standing in front of your face. Also imagine taking payment and then walking away without giving any further updates. I was speechless and stunned I had to ask, only to be met with a guess (without checking anything) that our food would be ready in another 15 minutes. My wife luckily spotted some orders that were packaged up... asked another employee (who apologized for the reportedly "new" employee) ... and of course it was already there waiting for us. The rest of the menu is VERY pricey for Korean food. The shared parking lot sucks on a busy weekend. Their restaurant interior is small so if you're COVID cautious, it's going to be uncomfortable as it looked like they were operating at 100% capacity with every table being full. read more

Comfort food for the win! We ordered: - Cheese Tteokbokki (spicy, but it wasn't that spicy) - Spicy Pork Over Rice (so tender & flavorful!) - Galbi Jjim Bibimbap (huge portion!) - Mamas Budae Jjigae Soup (comes in a sizzling hot pot! Careful!) FYI - Their "spicy" is very bearable, not like Thai food. Everything was super good! The mamas seafood pancake was a hit as well. The wait for a table did take a while, 30 min for 5 People on a Sunday night. Overall, would definitely come again! read more

This is a pretty cute restaurant tucked away right across from Factoria Square for a Korean food fix. My daughter loves the GalbiJim BiBim Bap, tge beef rib the put in this dish is so tender, flavorful & delicious. I love soup & since they don't have my favorite dish on the menu, Galbi Tang, I order the Soondubu, a soft tofu soup that can be varied in spice level of your choice with beef & seafood. My soup comes with a bowl of rice & both our dishes come with radish kimchee. It's a bit on the pricier side but everything is made fresh to order so the quality is pretty good. The real key would be to go with a bigger party & share some of their dishes & specials family style! The 3 girls seated next to us had a stone pot braised beef rib dish that look tender & falling off the bone as well as about 4 other dishes including KimBap! They had so many dishes they also had 4 banchan dishes to share which I honestly have never seen there?! I thought they must be friends of the restaurant or VIPS, but I think it was that special rib dish that was $64. Service is efficient but could be a little more helpful with the specials as we did not see them until we were walking out & saw their physical menus taped to a table outside of the front door. My daughter & I will have to return with the rest of our family so we can get a better variety rather than our usual lunch dishes we love. read more
I had a high expectation for mama's as a Korean comfort food restaurant. I did a takeout and it took 10 min from ordering to picking up the food. I was very impressed with that. I ordered ban ban chicken and mama's kimbop. I actually did not care for the gochuchung mixed marinated chicken nor the original for the thick coating. Chicken was juicy and thick, but the coating was too much for me. Kimbop was very good, fresh and stuffed with all the great ingredients, but I still like my own omma-s bulgogi marinated beef wrapped kimbop with sesame seed oil coated seaweed kimbop much better than mama's. Mama-@ kimbop is pretty high up in my kimbop ranking. Though, I thought it was little bit pricey for what you get especially ban ban chicken. Will be back to try other dishes and kimbop! read more

Mama's kitchen has been popping up on Yelp suggestion for some time and I finally get to try it. It's so good, why didn't I try it earlier!! I had the hamburger steak and rice, the half and half fried chicken, the Korean noodles and the mamas hot stone rice. I love the fried chicken, you can tell not just the sauce on top but the chicken has been marinated throughout. I think I may have eaten the whole dish myself without sharing with the fam. The place looked super clean and I felt good going in to pick up. Will tried other items on the menu in the future. read more

This rating is based on the food I ordered at the restaurant. Overall service is 2/5 for me. There's no waiting area inside the restaurant. There's a sign and small desk outside the restaurant for people to put their name and information down while waiting for a table. I was standing outside for ten minutes before a waiter came to check on me. It wasn't even too busy at the time. I was served with warm barley tea but no water. We had to ask them for water. The waiters didn't really attend to us except for cleaning up the tables/rushing to get us out of there. I got their Mama's kimbap, cheese tteokbokki, and soondubu. We got a bowl of rice and pickled radish as sides. No other banchan offered. I really like their Mama's kimbap which was filled with different ingredients and thin layer of rice. The tteokbokki was good. It had a good amount of rice cake and fish cakes. Not sure if the fried dumpling, egg roll, and shrimp was necessary as they were not that great. Soondubu was filled with soft tofu and it was delicious. However, I'm not sure if I will come back because of poor service. read more
I have tried to visit this place a few times before, but they were always busy, which was a good sign for a restaurant. I finally made it here when the heat wave hit Seattle area in hopes of getting some comfort food at an air conditioned place. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not working well here. I should have left when I walked in; however, I was hoping that it would be cooler once I sat down. Nope, once I sat down, I realized that it was actually cooler outside. We ordered bulgogi beef over rice, kimchi cheese fried rice plus a fried egg, and Korean style sushi rolls. To be fair, everything was delicious! Although we were eating with sweats at a sauna like place, we still enjoyed so much the food. The service was slow when I was there. Because it was hot, we quickly finished the water. We could hardly get the attention from any of them to get more water. Besides, they might get overwhelming orders that they could take, so we had to wait for a long time for our orders to come. We could have been more patient if it were well air conditioned, but we almost lost our patience waiting at this hot and humid restaurant. Finally, while the food was great, I found it quite pricey for the food itself. It's good, but I know I could get the same things at a lower price at other comparable restaurants. Overall, I like the food, not the service. I may give it another try when it's not too hot, but would never come here during the heat wave. read more

I went the other day and shared three dishes: kimchi fried rice, cheese tteokbokki, and katsu. We were quickly seated and cleaning occurred right before we sat down. Most of the staff were wearing gloves, but everyone had masks on. The katsu was crispy, but we were not a big fan of the grains associated with the dish. The katsu was flavorful and came out first. The kimchi fried rice was served in a hot pan, but the rice never got crispy edges (pans were not hot enough). The fried rice was a little spicy, but manageable for me (I have a lower spice tolerance than my friends). Finally, the cheese tteokbokki was one of my favorites. It was flavorful and spicy -- just what I would have wanted out of the dish. They also had a gyoza and an eggroll as a part of their dish which was interesting. They stayed pretty crispy, aside from a small bit which was submerged in the tteokbokki sauce. Overall it was great service and food. I would come back again! read more

First time trying this restaurant and it's the first time I'm assigning a dish the word "crave." The chicken tonkatsu over rice is delicious! Crispy on the 0outside, and tender and juicy on the inside, it's accompanied with scrambled eggs. The seafood tofu soup is the only choice, and was kinda fishy tasting. This was okay. Will definitely be back to try other dishes. Service was fast. The check-in system is adding your name to a paper list outside, then a worker calls out your name. The place is nice and clean and space is medium sized. You could see the chef cooking. It's in a strip mall and Factoria Mall is across the way, so there's plenty of parking. read more
I ordered the Galbi bibimbap for takeout. It was a really nice, fresh, and balanced meal, but it was pretty pricey. The service I received on the phone was okay, and the takeout order took 30 min, which seemed a little long for a pretty simple dish. I still think it's a great option if you're looking for a nice balanced meal. read more
Tried Mama's Kitchen for the first time this past week and wish we would have found it sooner :) We had the Ban Ban Chicken plate (which comes with 1/2 fried chicken wings to perfection and 1/2 chicken wings in an amazing sweet and spicy sauce topped with green onions and sesame seeds). This is a great appetizer or served with rice. We also had the spicy tofu seafood soup (soondubu) and the rice noodles in spicy sauce (tteokbooki). I personally like spice so both dishes hit the spot - especially the soup which I had with my rice. I would highly recommend Mama's Kitchen. Comfort food for sure - chicken wings are a must try. Below average Korean food that looks better than it tastes. My whole table agreed that the food was pretty mid -- it feels like this place is cutting corners. The spring roll lacked flavor, the tteokbokki was overly chewy, the galbi jjim bibimbap was cold because it didn't come in a stone bowl & the Katsu was late AND fried in old oil giving it a nasty taste. The cherry on top? Kimbap takes 25 min -- how does that make any sense?! Especially for the price I feel like things should be waaaay better than they were. Probably one of my least favorite Korean spots near Seattle -- pretty disappointing, unfortunately. read more

I would definitely go back again! Cheese Tteokbokki: it was good, but idk if I would get it again Dolsot Bibimbap: delicious!!! A must-have. The crunchy rice was perfect. Yangnyeom Chicken Wings: WOW WOW WOW. The flavor. On point! The crunch? Immaculate. Juicy? Definitely. Now I need to go get some! read more

Mama's Kitchen was just alright. My friends and I came in for lunch on a Saturday, and we were surprised at how quickly we were able to sit at a table. The menu was okay but I expected a little more variety! I ordered the Katsu with Mayo over Rice, which also came with scrambled eggs. I would definitely NOT recommend this dish, since it was super dry and the eggs were overcooked. For a dish that comes with fried pork and only white rice, you would expect some kind of sauce, but the mayo is just a drizzle. The only reason why I'm not giving less stars is because the service is pretty good and the dishes that my friends got were okay - the tteokbokki in particular came with a lot of add-ons. read more

Small but great Korean restaurant with variety of choices! The spicy cheese rice cake is great! It is a little different than the traditional Korean restaurant in the US, for example, less side dishes here, but their food is authentic and tasty. read more

Mamas korean comfort foods, location factoria near i 90 freeway & 405 across from kfc. This the kfc alright also korean fried chicken. The restroom was very clean, i appreciate having the washroom open. Even if a lot sanitizer was available, i don't want to taste or smell that liquid stuff, its always better to wash hands with soap & water. I taste for the first time kimbim sushi korean style was delicious and i also taste the crispy chicken katsu. Creamy soup was also tasting good. It was very busy 1200 noon, i think a redesign of the inside would be more efficient because alot take out orders, also during covid phase ii indoor dining was available. I feel the entrance was not enough space. Five stars for my server / waitress / cashier she was handling a lot, during the lunch rush, but with professionalism and excellent customer service read more

Food: (9/10) The food here is definitely very comforting! Been wanting to try Mama's Kitchen for so long and when i finally did, it did not disappoint! I absolutely enjoyed the Galbi-Jjim Bibimbap! It was $20 for the bowl but the portion was pretty big. I had enough leftovers to enjoy it for another day! 100% would go back to get this bibimbap when i'm craving for it! I also ordered cold noodles (not pictured) for the first time and it was soo good! The noodle has a nice chew to it, which is very much up my alley! Had leftovers for this too! So portions are pretty good here Service: (10/10) The employees here were very attentive! They had saw that i dropped my chopsticks and got me a new pair right away! Also, I would recommend coming early for dinner to beat the crowd since i can see that they can get pretty busy with the limited seatings they have space for. read more
