It has a very cozy and homey environment with lots of different table configurations so plenty of seating and not too long of a wait even when we went at 630pm. Our server Alexis was so sweet, had great recommendations, and we even got a free dessert bite since it was our first time visiting. I would try a slightly elevated drink over the house margarita and I wish the weather was better so we could sit on the patio but we may try back in the fall.

A good, casual, friendly, and clean neighborhood Mexican restaurant is the best way to describe this tiny place in this industrial town of Denver. There aren't many businesses around it so its existence is pretty humble. Well, if you end up being in this part of town and start having a craving for something quick, it may not be a bad idea to stop here. They make your food pretty quick!! I like the fact that their menu is not super elaborate. You'll be able to pick a place of your choice pretty quickly. The guy behind the ordering counter was pretty nice. My food, chicken flautas ($11.99 and its portion is just right for this price) came out quicker than the guy said it'd take. It wasn't the best flautas but it was delicious enough to entertain my famished stomach. The overall seasoning was light; not salty. I had tamales in mind but apparently they only serve them on Saturday and Sunday. Maybe next time??

One side of the menu is breakfast only! The gravy was thick, an uncomfortable uncooked thick. I wouldn't personally recommend anything with the gravy, though the biscuit and the sausage were great. You could definitely tell the gravy was either reheated, or uncooked just because of how thick it was. My boyfriend ended up actually getting food poisoning from it, I bake consistently and eat a lot of uncooked flour/ rue so it didn't do a lot to me, but definitely did make me sick. End result, really wouldn't recommend. Haven't tried anything else but the two biscuits and gravies, so that's where the hope comes with the first star. Hopefully everything else is good. The service was great though, the lady was patient with me and our food came quickly (but that's where my possibly reheated gravy theory comes in) was it was too soon because it was reheated, and everything else was quickly made? It's very cute and cozy in there, if you want to look for a home like area.

I was hoping for some Asian flair based on some of the decor, but no such luck on the menu. However, everything we had was very good. I got the spuds burrito, which was basically hashbrowns in a tortilla with cheese, Swiss cheese on top and green chile smothered. The green chile half and half was spicy- I might go mild next time. It was good, but my husbands biscuits and gravy were significantly better. The biscuit was yeasty and tasted homemade, the white gravy was flavorful, with sausage patties underneath. I would order that again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend, and we will absolutely be back now that we have found another good local place for breakfast.
