Perfect for takeout or dine in. Great variety of seafood baskets to choose from. Loved the Oyster Basket, stuffed oysters with so much flavor in an excellent batter. Hush puppies were all that I could ask for. Had some crab as well and it was so tasty. Don't even need the butter at this point.

Highly recommend!!! We came for a late lunch on Friday and there was no wait. We sat outside w our two dogs and enjoyed the lovely weather. You order at the counter and get your drinks there. For drinks menu they do have wines and beers (canned and draft). There is a server that brings you your food. Service was fast and attentive. Our server came to check on us several times and made sure to bring our pups a bowl of water. - Scallop basket: DELICIOUS! Comes with 8 soft and buttery scallops. I subbed the side out for the sweet potato fries and it was a fantastic decision.

Staff was super accommodating! Had a big group come in. Took us last minute, didn't rush us at all. Food came out within 15 minutes. Nice atmosphere. The manager was super cool, perfect energy !! We came to Mama Easley's for my 44th birthday while vacationing in Corolla. Mama Easley's is casual with orders taken at a counter as opposed to a server coming to your table. The food is brought out by servers. Drinks are self serve from a fountain drink machine. We had a group of 11. We were seated within an hour on a busy Thursday night in July. We started out with Calamari and Fried Green Tomatoes. For orders we got Shrimp, scallops, crab legs, crab cakes, and fish sandwiches. Everything was very well prepared. My only thing was that we were looking for something a little fancier for my birthday and this restaurant is really casual.

Visited with our group of 9 on vacation. This place was not fancy, and good for families. I believe we were on the water, but there are no water views. Everyone orders at the counter so a little less convenient. Staff were very friendly. Food came out really fast. Food was good and plentiful. We had a little bit of everything, but the apps were probably the best part of the meal. We had the calamari and the fried green tomatoes. They use paper plates and styrofoam cups so no dishes. I felt a bit indifferent about the tip being that it wasn't full service so I didn't leave my typical 20-25%, but I still left 15%. Tab came to $360 after tax and tip for the 9 of us.

Shrimp po boy was good fries were good. My sister got clam straps they were good. The fountain had Cheerwine which I love. The guy at the counter brought food quick and checked on us several times. We were looking at turtles and birds while we sat outside.

Wow! Mama Easley's is a great spot to eat in Corolla. I came during lunch time and was able to sit out on the back deck with a large group immediately. They have a great selection of beers and the staff are all young, gracious and talented. The fried green tomatoes were outstanding, and my shrimp po boy was made with the freshest, plumpest shrimp I've had in a while. Fantastic lunch! Cool place with a fun atmosphere. The chefs cook everything right in front of you & keep the kitchen super clean. We had the chowder, fried scallops, fried oysters, boneless Cajun wings, kid's cheeseburger, fries, sweet potato tots - everything was delicious. The scallops were super sweet. Everything came fresh, hot & crispy. One of the top 2 meals of vacation. People were really nice & you can tell they love what they do & care about their customers. Great restaurant! Second time coming here and now an annual tradition for our OBX trip. Food is really good - lots of yummy seafood. We had the steamed seasoned shrimp to start with shrimp, scallop, and clam strip baskets for our entrees. All was cooked perfectly. And to wash it down - one dollar PBR's! You really can't go wrong. Good for kids with outdoor seating overlooking mini golf. Friendly - although super busy - staff. Order at the counter and then find yourself a table. Def check it out. read more

Very good fried seafood, and fast/friendly service. The menu is pretty limited so if you don't like fried seafood, you should definitely eat somewhere else. We got the fried green tomatoes (phenomenal!), fish & chips, scallops and shrimp. It was all very good, and the breading came off easily so if you don't like fried food you could pretty easily take it off. read more

We ordered pick up for our group of eight on the first night that we were in town and had a good meal. We liked the food enough to order again toward the end of the week. The second time, we drove over and ordered for pickup later in the evening. They said no problem. When we arrived to pick up, we were on time and they hadn't started the order yet. There are many other restaurants to choose from that have great food and great service as well. I'd recommend them first. read more

I grew up in England and the fish and chip here reminded me of home. They even put it on paper that is made to look like old newspapers. The people are very nice and helpful. When I come back to the outer banks this is now a must stop for our family. read more

This is a small, cute place to get lunch. The selection is not huge but that's not a problem because all the items on the menu sounded really good. The service is friendly and the food good. The only drawback - if one can call this drawback - is that the inside space is fairly small. If I am at the area again I will be coming back! read more

We ate here about 2 years ago and seating was limited but the food/service was amazing then we ate there again this year and we loved the expansion with more seating, the service and food was phenomenal again, we made the drive from nags head this year was well worth the drive, they WILL NOT disappoint you, highly recommend everyone to give them a try. read more

Loved the low key vibe and delicious food prepared quickly at Mama's. It can get very busy there so plan accordingly. I had the shrimp po boy and found the shrimp large and fresh tasting. Very easy simple menu. Food is fast and good. Great beer selection. Super pleasant staff. My kids and I all enjoyed our options. The perfect beach spot! Unassuming and very friendly and the food is Full of flavor! Perfect after a long day at the beach. Definitely get the calamari, has a nice kick to it. Super allergy friendly. We called ahead to ask about gloves because a member of our party is allergic to latex. They remembered us when we walked in and showed us the box to double check they were ok. We also had a lactose allergy and gluten allergy in our party. They answered all of our questions. The food was fantastic. Fresh and cooked perfectly. It was so good, my wife and I went back for lunch the next day. The gentleman that took our order both days asked us where the rest of our party was. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area. read more

Fish and Chips were outstanding. I share with my Mom as there was enough for the two of us. The hubby had shrimp and said it was very good. You place your order at the counter and they bring it to you. Food is cooked to order and served HOT!! Not much seating but they do have it both indoors and outdoors. We were so happy to find this gem. The one and only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is there isn't much seating, we were lucky to get two tables for our group but many were turned away due to space. I did notice that there is space next to them - that's much larger than what they are in now, and we were all talking and hoping that on next year's vacation they will be in that space instead so we can really enjoy our time there. :) read more

My husband and I recently dined at Mama Easley's in Corolla, NC, and we were thoroughly impressed! We both ordered the shrimp basket, which was absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I paired mine with the French fries, while he opted for the onion rings, and both sides were spot-on: crispy, well-seasoned, and a great complement to the shrimp. We chose to sit on the deck, where we enjoyed a fantastic view that added to the relaxed, coastal vibe of the meal. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Plus, Mama Easley's is pet-friendly--we brought our dog along, and it was no trouble at all. Mama Easley's really came out swinging. We kicked things off with some apps and let me tell you--the bar was set sky high right out the gate. The scallops? Tender, buttery, and probably blessed by Poseidon himself. The mahi fried fish? Crispy perfection with flavor that slapped in the best way. Honestly, every bite was a win. The staff? Absolute gems--rare these days, so that alone deserves a shout-out. Plus, the beer lineup is stacked whether you're a draft devotee or a bottled believer. The spot itself is tucked away like it's hiding in witness protection, but once you find it, you'll be glad you went on the hunt. Not pictured is the calamari appetizer, which was absolutely delicious with the homemade remoulade and cocktail sauce. The main courses, which were fried shrimp and fries, and fried oyster po' boy and sweet potato tots were average. The sweet potato tots had cinnamon sugar on them, which made them not desirable with seafood. The service was fine. They seat you and bring you menus. Then you order at a take out bar and they give you a cup and you refill it yourself. We sat outside on a deck and it was nice. However, the chairs you kind of fell back into and had to sit on the edge of so you could eat your food. The total for the appetizer, 2 main courses, and 2 sodas was $75. read more

One of the best restaurants I've been to in OBX! We came a little before the dinner rush, and were served right away. The place is small, but there is seating outside overlooking a golf course area and pond. The vibe is very laid back and casual, and the servers are friendly. It's the perfect place to unwind after the day at the beach. The food was amazing, especially the fried green tomatoes. I had it as an appetizer, but I would come back in a heartbeat and just eat it as my meal. The fries are very good here , and so is the Mahi sandwich. We recently had a great dinner at Mama Easley's on our 1st night in Corolla.....The food was great and the service was spectacular! The entire staff was friendly and we had a great visit with Vinny, the owner. Unfortunatley, our car would not start when we left. Great casual place if your just trying to get affordable great quality seafood. I had a fish sandwich and it was incredible. Sweet potato tots and fries are a must. Not much seating but since the food is made fresh the wait for a table is worth it. Definitely a great family friendly spot in OBX. read more
