I was the first person in so it wasn't busy; not only was I not offered a beverage but my toe was cut far too deep AFTER my color to which I paid extra for since it was shellac and chrome was already cured. She also drilled over my cuticles too much and that portion of my big toes (on both feet) are extremely sore. I paid way too much money to be this dissatisfied. I would have said something about it yesterday but I was rushing to get home and to work. the lady who did my nails was very sweet but I'm extremely unhappy with my nails. she cut part of my toe nail off which led me to bleed in salon, out of salon and live in continuous agony seeing how I use my feet every day. A technician named Kelly completely messed up my wife's nails, used the wrong color, and then--unbelievably--got defensive and started yelling at her in front of the entire salon. Instead of owning the mistake or even attempting to fix it, Kelly acted like my wife was the problem for pointing it out. When my wife tried to calmly resolve the situation, the man at the front desk made everything worse. He refused to say who the manager was, wouldn't offer a refund, wouldn't fix the nails, and didn't even bother to apologize. The level of disrespect was shocking. It's one thing to make a mistake; it's another to treat customers like they're disposable. This salon clearly has no professionalism, no accountability, and no basic respect for the people who walk through their doors. There are plenty of nail salons in the area--do yourself a favor and choose literally any other one. No one deserves to be yelled at or humiliated for expecting the service they paid for. The gift card was issued to me in late 2019 and with the pandemic it should be understood by this type of business service that there needs to be certain concessions with honoring gift cards that needed to have been redeemed in 2020. To top it off, there is absolutely nothing on the card stating that I needed to use it within one year. They blamed it on "the system" automatically purging gift cards from the system after one year. Terrible experience yesterday. Don't use David for a pedicure. It was a classic pedicure. Turned into a rough, hurried bad experience. Cut my toe open with cuticle remover that he was trying to use to clip my toenail. The business didn't even offer a bandaid. I told him to stop, dried my feet, and walked to the front. After I left to get a bandaid, I returned to pay for my daughter's nails and was told to ask for someone different next time. Thank goodness they didn't charge me for the torture. This is my first review I have wrote in my life. Big deal. I was in for an eyebrow waxing on 11/2/23 Tina did my eyebrows. It was the most gruesome thing I have ever experienced. She waxed my eyebrows with dry wax. How do you do that? She figured it out. This was much less than a "spa" experience. She jerked and smeared her fingers all over my face (unnecessary). To top this experience off she was talking on the phone the entire duration of the waxing (I recoded it for proof). I spoke to the manager about my experience and he said that he would "talk to her" and that she had an "important phone call to take" Logically speaking you pass the wax on to someone else, finish the phone call, or tell me you guys are too busy to fit me in. I don't even know where to start. I usually don't like to leave negative reviews but this place deserves it. I got there right after it opened. Lady at the front desk was rude and so unfriendly. Nail tech came to get me and I told her my nails are real ( I have super long nails) and dipped. I just wanted the dip removed and nails cut to about half length. She grabs the clipper and starts cutting my nails to the quick. I said, " Wait! We need to take the dip off first." She ignores me and continues to cut. Then she finishes and says, " See, much better." My finger was bleeding because she cut my nail to short. Then she grabs the cuticle clippers and proceeds to try and rip the dip off my nails. I firmly told her no I want to soak them and she quit. After soaking my nails she kept trying to file them but because she cut them so short she was filing my skin. She says my nails are to thin. LOL! Now they are all uneven and ugly! If only you could have seen my nails before she got ahold of them. I promise that had to be the WORSE manicure I ever got! The pedicure she did was alright but she kept pushing the most expensive one on me. She also tried to get me to do an eyebrow wax but after I saw one of the reviews on here I'm glad I didn't. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!!! My mom had warned me about this place, but suggested I try one specific technician as he was decent. I called the night before, scheduled the next morning appointment, and requested the technician. I was told "ok, we'll see you tomorrow!". I think all is great. I show up the next morning and I am NOT greeted when I walk in. My mom again, had warned me that the front desk guy was a total jerk, so I was not surprised. I gave my name and appt time as well. He looks around and calls for Jessie. I tell him that I had requested a specific technician. He says they don't have a person there by that name, even though the night before I told him who I wanted and he said ok. There was a girl at the front desk, so she chimes in and says, "oh you'll love Jessie." Me loving Jessie is not the point. I asked for a specific person the night before and you said "ok" instead of telling me at the time that you didn't have someone by that name! Since Im already there, I decide to just go with it and see how much I will love Jessie. Well, let me tell you...I did not love her. From the minute I sat down in the chair, she was very rough and kind of ordering me around. She had my nails soaking in a bowl between my legs while I was getting a pedicure, to remove the previous Shellac, and when she took one hand out the bowl tipped and some of the liquid spilled onto my shorts. Because I was already aware of her "I don't want to be here" attitude, I was trying to check out my shorts before I said anything, but I wanted to make sure and tilt the bowl back lever before I did. As I was doing all of this, she says "oh no, you spilled" and I let her know that when she took my hand out the first time is when it spilled. She counters me and says, "no, I just saw you moving the bowl and it spilled when you moved your other hand". Are you kidding me?! I'm not a child, do not treat the customer like an idiot!!!!! So then she proceeds to finish my pedicure and applies the paraffin wax to my feet. After letting it sit for a few minutes, she then massages my feet WITH the paraffin wax bags wrapped around my feet. That was all of the massage my feet got, and it was not relaxing at all. She asked me if I wanted her to even out the length of my nails, since a few of them had broken off and were very short. I did want them to look more even. Instead, she just cut them all down as short as possible to match my shortest nail. Wonderful. The WORST part of the entire thing was when she trimmed my cuticles and cut my on 5 of my fingers. Yes, FIVE of my fingers. She apologized after each one, but continued to do the rough and painful task. When I went to check out, she stood by the front desk the entire time which made me pretty uncomfortable, as I wanted to tell the guy to add the tip. When she finally walked away, I asked if he could and his response was, "no no, I don't add tip anymore. It's whatever cash you have." SERIOUSLY?! So once I manage to find some cash in my wallet ( I really don't know why as she did not deserve a tip at all), I go to find her to hand it to her and she LOOKS AT THE MONEY I AM HANDING HER, takes it, and walks away! Don't get a pedicure by Susan! I asked for the '40 minutes' pedicure with the sugar scrub. I timed the pedicure from the moment I sat down and when she was completely done with the clear coat it had only been 30 minutes. I complained to the front desk lady and she said she'll let Josh know but I had to still pay the $33 (instead of the 30 min/$27) because Susan used the sugar scrub... not happy. She rushed through the pedi so fast and the massage was more like a light rub. And the filing of my feet was basically non existent. She kinda gently rubbed the stone across the bottom of my feet and that was that. One star for Susan.
