This agency are professionals at finding jobs. They are quick and efficient. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

I am still on a waitlist and never got a call back. it's been 6 months. They don't help you. I called back 2 months later and asked how my status is and they said as soon as something opens up they will let me know. I was waiting for a warehouse position. shouldn't need to wait this long. I ended up finding the same similar job in 2 days that they couldn't find me. I would give them 0 stars if I could for not helping. They also never answer the phones and you have to literally go in there to talk to them. They don't value people as they should. many of us are on unemployment. Their job is to find people jobs. read more

Came here for the I9 verification. Suite is on the 4th floor all the way on the left when you exit the elevator. May need to buzz in at the door (I had to), since it may be locked due to covid. If someone is at the front desk they should see you easily enough. Said my name and was asked for my document. Took about 10 mins of processing and it was done. No fuss. Went down to the Panera (next building) for lunch after lol read more

A person by the name of Jeanette contacted me from Melako Staffing agency to offer me a position. Like I usually do, so I decided to go on yelp and take a look at their yelp reviews saw that there was a lot about remarks bad comments and bad reviews. I want to see it for myself to see whether or not those review were true. I went to the office I spoke to Jeanette in person fill out an application she was very helpful very nice. Everytime I email her or everytime I contact her whether through texting or phone call she's always there to pick up her phone call and she's always there to reply back to any question or concern I may have. I know I can always count on her., I waited patiently for a couple days and she was able to get me an interview with the client that I am working with at this time after the interview a week later she contacted me and told me that I was offer a job. I'm still working at the company, I love my job, I love the work environment and on top of that, I am definitely thankful that I didnt base on yelp viewers to determine whether I would like Melako staffing to help me with searching for my future career. Today, I'm thankful that I went to Melako staffing, and they are a very helpful staffing agency. Trust yourself, give everyone your equal value, give yourself a chance, never base on other opinions to decide on the outcome of yours. If anyone is looking for a job definitely. I would recommend Melako Staffing agency their location is in Hayward and you won't be disappointed, I know I wasnt. read more

Short Version: Stay AWAY from this place. Long Version: After responding to an ad on Craigslist for a Customer Service position, I received a call from Miguel at Maleko Staffing. He asked me if I was able to come in for an interview that same day, which luckily worked out for me. So I did. When I walked into the office, I was greeted and given a packet of papers to fill out in a separate room, a typical standard application. While I was filling these out, I could very clearly hear one of the recruiters badgering and bullying her clients over the phone. Honestly, after hearing some of the things she was saying on the phone and then afterwards to her coworkers ABOUT her clients, I should have walked out right then. I thought to myself, "Hopefully I don't have to work with HER, since Miguel was the one that called me." Fast forward to the actual interview. Although Miguel was very nice, the interview itself was less than professional and lacked details that I ended up having to ask him about, such as the schedule of the facility that I was interested in, if there were benefits, what the pay was, etc etc. I very clearly let him know what MY availability was (8:30am starting time) and hoped that the schedule would match with mine. I was assured that "it should be fine," and that he would let me know what my next step would be. Couple of days later, he calls to let me know that there is a phone interview scheduled for the next morning. When that morning came, I took the phone call and quickly learned that the schedule was nowhere near what we had talked about in the office. So ultimately, this "assignment" completely fell through due to lack of communication between the recruiter and the company. When I emailed him to let him know how disappointed I was, and that I hoped something else would come up, I got no response. My Suggestions: 1.) As recruiters, I would watch what you say within earshot of prospective clients. 2.) Work on your professionalism during the interview process. You get what you give. 3.) Check, double check and even triple check if necessary to make sure the schedules will work BEFORE you set up interviews for clients. With errors like this one, it reduces your credibility to the companies and to the job seekers. read more

I recommend Maleko it's a great agency they always make sure to look for a job that fits the best as soon as possible as they can.

If you are just going in for an I-9 identification, it is very quick. The service was surprisingly fast for this process.

Friend of mine was called by Matt Young of the Fremont office for what I think was a prescreening process/interview. He said that he would send the resume to a company (or companies) and get back. It's been several days and no contact. So, we think he's collecting resumes to look like he is culling candidates that may or may not be qualified for available jobs. If you deal with this agency, set your expectations to little or none. read more

I replied to their Craigslist ad and from start to end they lied. They made it seem that their interview as filling out application, background check, orientation to the job then next day visiting job site and then start work. Well... the experience was far from that expectation... They require you fill out the most invasive previous employer recommendation form, its more like a previous employer interrogation form, where they threaten you and your previous employer that you won't get the job if they don't complete it and its obvious you need to be top rated in every one of the categories their survey asks of the employer or you will be rejected. Meaningless waste of candidate's, previous employer's and reviewers time. There is a math test. Well they didn't say that when they set the appointment to come in. Given some people's math anxiety, some freak the hell out when they see a math test, its unproductive to surprise candidates with such barbaric tactics. Its all mind control or rather, mind face down for the screwing time. Preparing you for their rude and less than humane treatment --- dignity-less. read more

This agency is so unprofessional. They take a whole month to call you back and make you feel as if you are annoying them if you check up on the status of a job offering I had an interview for Friday and the person helping me at this agency told me to call her Friday morning to remind her to send me an email with all the information and the location of my interview called her Friday morning never answered me until an hour before my interview and told me they had rescheduled it for Monday to call her Monday and it's Monday today and I never got an email or a call back for the information so unprofessional like everyone else said stay away from this agency poor pay too read more

Miguel, a recruiter and coordinator at this location, is near-impossible to contact when you have a question about important legalities such as your paycheck. What's the point of having a business card with your phone and e-mail if you don't respond to calls, voicemails, texts, or e-mails? If you want to enjoy lower pay for the same amount of work as your coworkers, this is your place. Beggars can't be choosers, and they will take full advantage of that. Better not accept the offer if this agency calls, and try to apply directly after they tell you the business that's hiring. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!WARNING!!! I walk into the Maleko office located by Southland Mall. First of all, I was surprised at the lack of customer service skills in the office. The fact that there were two people in the office, one was on the phone; being rude and condescending to the party on the other side of that line. Not something I expected in a company contracted by AMAZON. Then, there was another person staring at her computer screen doing absolutely nothing, but staring. I notice a sign that read; ring bell for service. Then and only then did the young women staring at her screen acknowledge me. My first thought is this place is a joke. AMAZON could not be using this company as a resource to staff positions for the upcoming holiday season. As I attempted to shrug it off; a women appeared from a back office looking at me as if I was bothering her; may have been the manager. Her appearance was disheveled, she was a bleach blond with dark olive skin who appeared not to own a hair brush. Rudely she asked my purpose for the visit. I assume when you have an appointment set; the company you have the appointment with knows why you are there. I was expecting to be greeted with a warm smile and perhaps a kind thank you for coming in, but that's far from what I endured. Still trying to keep a level head I politely explained that I was there to verify employment eligibility. She then takes my information and steps back into the rear office all the while pointing to the application room telling me to wait. About ten minutes later I witnessed another person come through the door with the same appointment as myself. Within five minutes the women that came behind me was done. Now as we sat in the application room; we acknowledged one another as applicants of AMAZON and shared with one another the possibility of being on the same team at AMAZON. The woman waited for me as I requested from the staff what the problem was with my Driver's License and SS. I couldn't help but laugh as she explained that there was a problem with angling my documents just right. Really you have to angle a photocopy just right? Shortly thereafter the bleach blond comes out and asks me the last four digits of my social, keep in mind that the person that came in after me was not asked to recite the last four digits of her social. No folks after all my troubles I know where my information ended up. For the folks at Maleko make no mistake about it. We all reap what we sow and I tell you that you will thirst the rest of your life, but you will never be quenched. You had a grand opportunity to prove yourself kind. I had a very similar experience as Shawna B review dated 04/10/15. I am surprised that this behavior continues to go on. We are now in November 2016. The audacity of a company to operate in this fashion is beyond me, the incompetence is completely beyond comprehension. It seems that the powers that be at Maleko Corporation could care less. Therefore, for all those job seekers, I encourage your job search and strongly suggest you stay away from MALEKO! Peace. read more

This Agency is a joke! They called me for a LOOOOOONNNNNGGGGGG term assignment that only lasted 3 days but before I started, I received a confirmation e-mail from the person in charge of the agency in Hayward, CA. (NOT a very professional person) saying I will get paid $15 an hour. 3 days later the assignment was over and that person told me to wait till next week (Friday) to get my check, this was a Thursday the week before------when I went to pick up my check 6 business days later I was getting paid only $12 an hour. When I asked her what happened with the $15 an hr, she said she never told me that so I showed her on my phone the email SHE sent me and SHE made me wait another week for the rest of my money knowing that she could've made a check that same day because that office is the main one. So for 3 days work I waited 2 long weeks to get all my money. I give this company -------0 STARS read more
