If you can speak Spanish then you will do great. They are nice but only one person in the office speaks Spanish. I had a rough time speaking to the person that was assigned to me. Looking for work? I highly recommend Randstad! I've been with them for about a month now. A few highlights: -They're very quick to follow up with you and try and work around what kind of work you're looking for. There should be no reason as to why you wouldn't get a job. -Luis Ayala has been my front man and landed me a job in less than a week. My brother got a job through him in 2 days. Even if you don't talk to Luis, someone will definitely call you back. -Randstad offers their own Debit Card if for some reason you don't have a bank account to set up direct deposit. So not only will you get paid weekly but you'll get paid every Thursday instead of Friday. -They give you 3 chances to settle with a job you actually like. Most temps refuse to work with you after you walk out on the very first client they give you. -Very professional and organized. They're not like some agencies that are located in a 4x10 office that resembles a prison cell. 2 downsides are: 1) If you decided to opt for paper checks, you won't get it until the following Monday in the mail. They send paper checks from Randstad Headquarters located in Georgia. So I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you get the Randstad Debit Card or set up direct deposit. 2) Most positions they offer are production/warehouse. All in all, don't worry about the economy. Check gets mailed you from New York and takes days . So you do not get paid on time unless you do direct deposit. Office you work out of will not write any letters for you for employ verification. Says you got to call a 1 800 number. Which when you call does not ask for employee number that they say you need to give. All the options on the 1 800 number do not apply to needing a letter for prof of employment. There is no option to talk with a live body either. Very frustrating. read more

THE WORST temp agency ever. They say they have jobs for you, but clearly never follow through. Nobody follows through and I have tried to get employment with a few and nothing but broken promises or even trying to give me another job. I thought it was a temp agency and that maybe they could help. I have been through randstad Santa rosa, Sonoma county and no problem. Hayward, is a joke! Trey another temp agency! I called trying to set up an appointment to meet with them and register with their company, and I gotta say they are one of the most unprofessional people I have ever spoken to. No phone etiquette and rude, the person even sounded ghetto. Had a feeling he couldnt wait to hang up. I'm sure there's better agencies out there. Don't waste your time with this one. read more

I have had an assignment through them before worked out great but it was only a month long. They told me they would help me find another job and to go apply on their website, so I did. I applied at so many jobs, I was even called and was told we have a position for you I will email the info about the interview and what not. I received the email and I sent a reply that I would like to go to the interview. I got no response, I emailed about 3 or 4 times the last one being completely frustrated and fed up with them not replying to my emails and calls. Needless to say I still haven't heard from them and its very disappointing because I am a great worker, and would bring a lot to a company down here in the east bay. I moved here in January and am looking for a stable position. It is very frustrating to be lead on a wild goose chase when all I want is a chance to prove myself and get a job. read more

I've had much different experiences with this branch as opposed to both previous entries. Here's why I cite them with five stars: -Paycheck's arrived on time for every assignment I've worked. Plus, when it came time to update my direct deposit information, Adrian was very kind on showing me easy tricks on how to make that happen. -Phone etiquette's always been professional (not sure where someone discerns a "ghetto" vibe). Not only are they cordial on the phone and ensure they attend to your needs but every agent there strives on returning voicemails as soon as possible. The same cannot be referenced about other employment firms. -They are constantly finding me work be it an ideal job or something useful in bringing some cash into the house. The assignments they send you on usually are with professional businesses as well. -Very understanding about any grievances you have (unlike the Pleasanton and San Ramon offices, who both acted in undue haste without fully understanding my position on an issue. When informing the Hayward branch that I'd quit Randstad, as they got me a job before my conflict with the aforementioned outlets-I primarily went through San Ramon before Hayward, they were more than accommodating, ensuring that I could work through them. I'm pleased they reached out to me in that regard) -Other benefit? Firm's in a nice location with enough parking and nearby restaurants should you get hungry during a visit. To anyone reading all these reviews, go by whatever you wish but I feel you deserve to also hear a positive side to this branch. read more

So far I have had a good experience with this agency, I highly recommend working with Alexis, she is one of the most proactive and attentive recruiters I have had. She is very prompt with her emails and answers the same day you send them. She is HELPFUL and wants to place you in a job. Also, some agencies are known for screwing up your pay, so far that hasn't been the case. Just make sure you are checking your statements and you should be ok. read more

I was sent on an Assignment to the Company Protein Research through the Ranstad Office in Hayward.The Recruiter Taj called me up on a friday.Taj told me the assignment was temp to hire.It turns out the Assignment was only for one day.The following monday I called to inquire about more work at Protein Research.Taj said she would let me know when more work became available. All of a sudden Taj calls me back that evening telling me I couldn't go to Protein Research anymore.Telling me they said I was slow.Now that was a job a two year old could do.I wasn't doing anything except for cleaning jar tops and labeling boxes. I believe this Randstad Office makes up stuff on Employees.I talked to two more Recruiters.The last one I talked to said that they got not good feed back.He sounded nasty to me.Telling me they cant send me back to the Company.I will never call this Hayward Branch for another Assignment again. read more
