A cheap and cheerful, but better than average quality Chinese takeaway/delivery place, that also…read moredoes some Thai and Singaporean dishes. If you're a fan of "authentic" Chinese food, you're going to be disappointed, as the menu is largely made up of the usual English takeaway favourites like crispy chili beef, but if you just want some fried rice, sweet and sour pork and prawn crackers brought to your door and get change from a £10 note, then it's a good option. They do a range of excellent value set meals, all of which serve more people than they state - or maybe I just have a small appetite? Like most places, they always quote around 45 minutes delivery time, but I've rarely waited more then half an hour.

We usually order takeaway from here since the dishes are of a reasonably reliable level of quality…read more Our standard order includes egg fried rice and salt and pepper chicken wings for the kids, while the husband and I cast about the menu for favorites. Beef curry and Mongolian beef are both decent, and the Singapore noodles (vermicelli, of course, as ho fun and egg noodles are no substitute) are nice and spiced. The vegetarian crispy duck is nearly as good as the real duck, and in general both dishes are better than the versions from other restaurants. The orange chicken isn't exactly what I expected; it's more of an orange version of lemon chicken, if that makes sense. In the US, orange beef is a standard dish, where the breading is cornstarch and very crispy, with a subtle orange glaze that doesn't soften the breading. New Winner's version is doused in sauce so the breading had nearly disintegrated; the kids didn't care though and ate it just fine :) Prices are reasonable. You can feed a family of four on 15 quid.

I was just in London and looking for something quick and cheap to eat for lunch with my boyfriend…read more We ended up at Spitalfields and had our pick of a few places. Nothing sounded that enticing and most all seemed very overpriced. As we continued to wander around, we encountered Warung and knew we were going to feast on one of their curries. I ordered their simple Malay chicken curry over rice and he ordered their beef rendang over rice. I don't recall seeing any vegetarian options. But both curries were really good and well-balanced! And BOTH were only 5£. It was quite an extraordinary amount of food for such a small price. It was also topped with fried onions and a bit of lettuce. The business is around all days of the week except Thursdays. You can see more about them here: https://www.facebook.com/KualaLumpurCafe I do recommend this place to someone looking for a cheap lunch in London if you're in the area.

The food itself is decent and very tasty. You get noodles or rice, curry, chili flakes, fried onions and some lettuce on top all for a fiver! which in my experience is pretty good seeing as a boots meal deal is now around that cost and this was definitely tastier! Will definitely try again next time I'm working in London!

What's better than a yummy Malaysian restaurant? A local yummy Malaysian restaurant which delivers…read moreto my home!! In the Malaysian tradition of discussing food, one of my Malaysian friends told me about Noodle House. Could it really be true? A restaurant/takeaway serving authentic Malaysian located but a mere 2 miles from my house. So it was with fevered excitement that I arrived at Noodle House. When I explained that I had heard that they served Malaysian food, they produced a special menu with Malaysian dishes. They also have a conventional Chinese menu. As I scanned the menu, a broad smile came over my face and yes, my heart skipped a beat. The street food favourites were all there, ranging from rojak (mixed fruit salad with thick spicy peanut/prawn paste) to Indian mee rebus to home made soya bean milk. In the name of Yelp research, I'm eating my way through their menu. A couple of average dishes but in general, this is the real thing. Absolutely top notch singapore laksa, wat tan ho, hokkien char mee and pasembur. I'm smiling even as I write this review!

Everything is always fresh and tastes wonderful. This is one of the most underrated places to eat in Sutton. Very fair prices and generous portions. Highly recommended.
