Went tapa hopping and found this place - it was conveniently located next to Setas de Seville and well priced! They had some unique items on the menu and so we thought it was worth giving a shot.
To drink, we got the clara - this is the best clara i've tried in the city!! It's a mix between their local beer and lemonade, and this specific drink had equal parts of both.
For food, we tried the gazpacho, fried anchovies, and oxtail in chocolate (this is the weird item I'm talking about)!!! Gazpacho was decent, but i realized that it is just not my thing. It was full of flavours and a good hint of garlic, but it was served in a glass instead of a bowl which is when I realized it was more of a savoury veggie smoothie rather than a chilled tomato soup. Fried anchovies were my fav from this place - lightly fried and you get massive anchovies (unlike other places). Make sure you squeeze the lemon on top of these. Lastly, I was a little but disappointed by the oxtail. Sure it was very tender, but the sauce seemed so off-putting. It was a weird salty gravy and I could not taste the chocolate. On top of that, it came with really salty fries - talk about a lot of salt!
Overall, this was an interesting place definitely worth a try. The good thing about tapas is that you don't have to order much to get a sense of the restaurant's profile. read more
