We recently had to take our cat to the vet and they recommended we use Maker Pharmacy for our kitty's medication. The pharmacy had our cat's prescription ready the next day, and the woman who helped me was very thorough when she went over the directions on how to apply the medication. Something is going on in the building and most of it was empty for some reason, but the pharmacy was up and running 100%. The staff was also very nice when I had called to ask about the prescription. I'm thankful to have a local pharmacy that could help me so that I didn't have to drive out of town, and it's also nice to support a downtown business. read more

Went into this pharmacy, and there's a girl with short brown hair and bangs, and glasses that talked on, and on, and on, to this woman (customer), like they were hanging out at a local café. They were talking about her nasal spray, and continued to overdwell, and overdwell and overdwell for 7-8 minutes. Not only was the conversation long, it was also not confidential for her to carry on like that with a line full of people. I think that's an appropriate for both reasons. She went on and on about one medication that the doctor had prescribed and said was okay with the patients medical history. She went on to discuss inconsequential topics with this customer. It's as if she locked in on this customer and got a kick out of sharing things that a doctor would be sharing so as to position herself as an authority on the subject. (Yes, I sincerely and truly got that air about her). She didn't even look up to let the rest of us in line know that she "would be with us in a moment." There's a fine line between being caring for a patient, and talking ad nauseam casually while others are in line. This is a strange way to do business (no social skills), and it's certainly not efficient. It's a good way to lose the business of others as well. Again, she saw that there were other people in line. didn't even look up to say "I'll be with you in a moment." (Poor customer service). Phone Calling This Place: Not to mention, when you call them the whole music goes on for such a long time (nobody answers). By default, you almost have to walk in there, only to wait some more. It's beyond me why they don't have more staffing. I honestly would only recommend this pharmacy to lonely individuals who want to talk all day long, but not individuals who are trying to pick up medicine expediently for a sick loved one at home, or for somebody who has other errands to run. read more

I had cause to go to Makers Compounding Pharmacy, for my first time ever, and was incredibly pleased and surprised! Cutting to the chase... 1. The service was incredible - personnel responses were courteous, prompt and discretionary, even during a busy time. 2. AND, if you have an upcoming anniversary, birthday, get well, or any other sort of celebration card, and considering a gift or token of appreciation to go with that card - you CAN find it here! Along with most all the associated accoutrements, options for gift wrap, bags, bows - and tape (if you're sometimes like me and have to wrap gifts in the car)! I was able to find some affordable, small items for a large number of Mother's Day gift bags I'm putting together, and even got some ideas and suggestions from one of the staff (again, the point being - helpful personnel). I am over the moon with the service I've received with my tailored prescription for my medication. I experienced for my first time a mouth full of open painful sores. I contacted my dentist who was confident I had a virus and suggested a compounded mouthwash. They called me once hearing from my Dr. to discuss what they would do, contents, cost, and to confirm it would be ready the same day. Plus, the prescription was worth its weight in gold! read more

Love this shop. When calling in for a refill of my compounded medication I got to speak to a live person which was so very nice. I usually have my prescription mailed because the pharmacy is far from my home, but once I stopped in in person and the shop is charming. They have a wonderful array of gifts and regular things you'd find at a pharmacy. The staff is friendly and helpful. Honestly I wish I lived closer so I could do my gift shopping here. That said, they also mail my prescription almost immediately. So two thumbs up for this shop. read more

So happy with the quality of medicine that is compounded here for our little 5 pound dog! Such a beautiful little pharmacy/Hallmark gift store! Each person that has helped me has been very friendly. Showed up at 6:00pm on Black Friday, 2018. Hallmark website stayed open until 7. Was told, "Sorry, Halmark has it wrong." "Great" customer service on Black Friday, especially since I got to the door just at 6:00 anyway. Will not be back. read more
