Friendly place great prices - sorry the glare is bad, but here is a menu as of 1/16/26

We've been to molokai a bunch of times and don't know why we never stopped at Maka's Corner. Thee food here is awesome. Our order: two hamburger steaks, double cheese burger, teri burger, 2 fries, and a teri pork and Korean fried chicken wings plate. I had the combo plate, the teri pork was soft with a great sweet teri sauce, the wings had a great crunch and moist inside with a nice touch of a teri style Korean sauce. You can combo any two items on their menu. I've heard their popular item is there honey dipped fried chicken, unfortunately they were out when we went. It's a take out window with some outdoor seating. We just beat the rush so our food came out pretty quick. Glad we arrived before another 6 plus people right after us, cause I was hunngggrrrreeeeehhhhh Haha. I will definitely be coming back here in the future.

Loco Moco. Enough for two days

Landed early so had a couple hours to check in and we were starving. Molokai is a small island and this spot is totally a place that is frequented by the locals. They were nice enough, but not overly to us tourists. Sadly they were out of Mahi Mahi, so we ordered a Loco moco and a chicken teriyaki salad. Loco moco is rices, topped with two hamburger patties topped with two fried or scrambled eggs topped with gravy. This is a walk up and order with some sit down tables with an umbrella. Food was in abundance. I ended up taken back to the condo, because we knew we weren't coming back as most places close early. Normally I have some issues with beef. Not this time. Not fatty, not overly salted and my system loved me. Will probably head back on our way out.

The Korean chicken is amazing! The Mac salad is not so good, and neither is the grilled cheese. Went for breakfast and due to shipping issues they are out of eggs, guess they can't buy local! For Breakfast, I ended up getting Korean chicken and got wife some pancakes, and crispy bacon that was far from crispy! Service was great the first time, very nice gentleman who gave good advice on the menu. Second time the service was horrible, some Tattoed woman, with a solid black sleeve was nothing but attitude and snippy at every question!!

    Kalbi

I think this restaurant might have the best kalbi on the island. Still pretty "saucy" after being cooked (I prefer kalbi this way). The wraps are a pretty good size and I think they might have the best loco moco. Can be a bit of a wait when it gets busy.

Gravy burger with Mac salad was cash only but service was super nice ...I wish I bought two since I had to share

Aloha! The spirit in the Teri Pork Plate & tsunami Fries will amaze you. This is easily the BEST food on the Island of Molokai'i!! The team will amaze you with their kindness. The atmosphere and ambiance is old school Hawaiian. Mahalo Maka's Korner. You rock out.

    Breakfast wrap.

This is totally your local kine grindz plate lunch type of place. Nothing fancy, but good basic local comfort food that is freshly prepared and tasty. I had the breakfast wrap and I have to say, the looks didn't match the tasty. When I first opened up the wrapper, it was uninviting, but once I bit into it, it was blissfully delirious. There was a lot going on inside and every about it was in total disguise by the plain looking tortilla wrapper. My partner had the double cheese burger. Same thing, it didn't look like much, but it was supper tasty. Something about the seasoning made it so delicious. It's all about the food here, so don't go there expecting cloth napkins. Go and enjoy some tasty freshly made local style comfort food.

    Gravy burger!

Smash burger only $16, on Oahu? Was good. Spicy chix sandos - $18, had good flavor, seemed like the breading and sauce carried the seasonings and not the chix itself. No complaints from the diners tho. Tonkatsu ramen stole the show. $24 and worth every cent..I'm a bit of a ramen snob and it was likely the best I've ever had. Stuffed with tons of noodles. After driving along the coast for a bit, we decided to checkout the golf course. Plus I was a bit hungry and of the restaurant was open, we'd dine there. When we first got to the parking lot for Makaha Golf Course we weren't sure if they were open because there were very few cars parked. However, when you ge tour and start walking towards the club house, the view of the mountain range right behind it is spectacular. Upon walking in to the golf course is the Lililoi Lounge with people enjoying a beer and a game and others dining on the patio. We were greeted from the bar and was told we can sit anywhere. We decided to sit in the patio. Before I sat, I headed to the restroom towards the back of the clubhouse. The clubhouse does need a bit of tlc. However walking towards the restroom, I saw the stage and band equipment so it seems they have regular events. But because I'm the area wasn't currently in use, the AC was off and this portion of the clubhouse was a bit stuffy. Interesting enough, the restroom did have the AC on. Although the restroom area is clean, again, it needs modernizing compared to the other golf courses. And it felt a bit eerie in there for some reason so I quickly washed up to get out of there. Despite the clubhouses current condition, I still feel it has its nostalgic charm to it. Walking towards the patio where my sister was seated, you can't help to take in the ocean view, well kept greenery of the golf course with the Waianae Mount range as the backdrop. Browsing the menu, they cater well to the locals and of course it has your golf course morning and afternoon meals. Everything is fairly priced. I got the friend noodle combo with meat jun while my sister got fish and chips, like we didn't have enough of that while we were in Seattle and NZ on the last 3-months. Noodles satisfied my craving. Mac salad was Ono and so was the meat jun. it was a lot of food, so I brought home the meat Jun so i could eat it with rice for dinner. Sister's fish and garlic chips was really good too. When our server brought the check and cleaned up our table, my sister asked her about the instruments. The server said they do have events there and that evening was karaoke night and invited us to join the festivities. But honestly, o just wanted to go home and take a nap. Yup, kanak attack.
