I stopped at Burger King because I wanted to check out their snack wrap and I needed lunch. This BK is located on Mamalahoa Hwy in Waimea. It's an older unique styled building a large Parker Ranch shopping center. I walked in and was immediately greeted. That was a plus. I asked if the wrap came in a meal. She politely stated that she can make it one. I really wasn't going to eat fries. So I just regular chicken wrap sub mayo add cheese. What's a wrap without cheese and a small drink. It was $9.50. I went to wash my hands. The bathroom needed dire attention. Just wasn't clean. I sat in the lobby to eat. The lobby was clean. My order came up. My chicken wrap was hot. It was a crispy chicken patty cut in half with the lettuce, mayo and cheese. It was good but not something that I'm drawn to go to get again. It did take care of me for the moment. read more

Burger King - Classic Chicken Wrap - Burgers Near Me - Waimea, Hawaii

When Burger King costs more than a nice sit down restaurant there is a problem. Do what everyone else does and go across the street to McD or L&L. You need a loan to order a burger here. read more

Went into the dinning room, was standing there for 10 min. The staff looked over a few times and completely ignored me. There was nobody else in the place how hard would it have been to acknowledge that we were there. I guess if you are not local they don't want to serve you. A GREAT PLACE FOR TOURIST TO AVOID read more

The kids working here are probably the rudest people I've ever met. They can't read, listen or use their system at all. It's Wednesday and it said there was a deal on the sign and the dummy at the till had no idea how to input that. Okay fine. Then they charge me $40 for food and don't even give me what I ordered. The young girl working there would not survive where I'm from, and the pimple faces in the kitchen need to learn to listen. After I explained they gave me the wrong burger I asked for a refund on it and they just refunded my entire order... goes to show those kids are pulling mad scams! Restaurant was empty, dull and very dirty. Worst Burger King I've ever been to in the entirety of North America. read more

Extremely racist and would not take my order because I was Indian and they were calling me very mean words and not listening to my order and were some of the most racist people I've ever met. never go there. read more

rude, absolutely unacceptable behavior. "pono" stood there for 5 minutes giggling at me with his buddy. then I paid $5.75 for a fountain drink. (checked for spit before drinkinking it) how disappointing. read more

drive through staff was polite but our food was cold and looked/tasted like it'd been sitting there for hours. fries are my fave, anywhere lol, and these ones may have been the worst i've had. cold, soggy but what's worse is that disgusting brown fry they gave me(see pics). yikes. won't be back. read more

closed 3 hours early i could not be a big guy from the spongebob meal. i needed my big guy meal

Looks like my 2 star rating will raise the overall rating a little. That tells you all you need to know but let me say what I experienced there yesterday... Went through the drive through to get a whopper jr and med coke. The whopper jr was $5.79 and the coke was $4.69. Unbelievable (I don't get fast food often). I had them take the coke off and kept the burger since I was hungry so I figured just this one time. Never again though, or at least until the price gouging stops. To top it off though .. the whopper jr bun was stiff and stale, but I was already up the road a few miles. So I paid $5.79 for a small stale bun burger. Sad. read more

We live nearby and frequent this Burger King regularly. Today we drove through and ordered two Whopper Jr. combos. As always, the staff were super-polite, patient, and accurate in fulfilling the order expeditiously. The food is normal BK quality, fries are always hot and crisp, and any special modifications to the order are correct. I felt the need to counteract the volume of negative reviews of this location, as we are regular patrons here and have always had excellent experiences with this Burger King. Mahalos to the hard-working staff who interact so well with all types of customers. read more

horrible I had a meal from there the number 4 with onion rings and ive had food poisoning the last two days I would leave one star if I could read more

Omg. I usually like Burger King. I think they swept the fries up off the floor. Gritty with dirt and sand. We even had to wait about 5 minutes in the parking lot for it. Drove home and busted it all out to eat. Every order (4), of French fries were gritty. I can only imagine how they got that way. Yuck!!! read more

OK, the food was OK, but the service was beyond courteous: Ordered food. Consumed food. Went to counter to ask if I could use the Men's Room. Was told: " "NO", not for customers"! ( I had cancer surgery several days prior and constant urination is a side effect) The brash counter person was adamant that the Man's Room was not available, even to paying customers. I will NEVER eat here again! read more

Went through the drive thru and ordered was asked us to park and come up to the door. Waited 20 min went Back to the drive thru and got yelled at for going to the wrong door. Got cold food.... they knew we were waiting...customer service was a joke. read more

oh no ...don't even go there ...we thought maybe we would try the impossible burger...so expensive & served ice cold. Don't bother spending your money here. read more

Had a horrible experience at this establishment on Aug 19th contacted BK corp and they responded on Aug 28th that management was made aware of the issues still no contact from BK Hawaii. Morning manager/ supervisor was belittling and rude to both his employees and customers. Must happen often when he has to get off his personal cell phone calls. and since nobody at Burger King has the decency to contact me nor bother to apologize for their mistakes it speaks volumes of just how much Burger King values their customers. Is it any wonder why this establishment is not crowded yet the McDonald's across the street is always busy. I will be spending my money where customers are treated with respect (not here) and hopefully you will too. read more

Probably worste run Burger King I've ever been to, good luck on getting any modification to an order- no matter how minor it might be, not even the managers seem to know how to work their order system. The franchisee owner is losing money, McDonalds across the street is always packed and BK is always empty cause they don't know how to run the computers and consistently overcharge people. I would eat BK everyday instead of McDonalds, instead we never go here cause EVERY single order gets messed up or we get overcharged. Total incompetence. We tried to like this BK over the course of years and gave up after getting overcharged 4 times in a row, and them messing up on just about every order. read more

Most fast food places you should not really expect amazing food. But burger king is the worst fast food place I've ever gone to. My boyfriend though loves it but I think it's a joke the only good size burger is the whopper other then that it sucks. The last two times I went my patty was so tiny i really thought they were playing some kind of joke on me...as u can see in the pic I posted. I will never eat at bk again. read more

Terrible. My wife ordered two impossible whopper meals. Both burgers are raw. Not cooked. Complete waste of time, energy, and gas. It is not hard to do. Train your employees better. Cause i like burger King, please try harder. read more

I have to agree with the others. This is the worst Burger King I've ever been too. Everything seems like double the price for a meal $12-15 for a basic meal. Food cold. Only positive thing was the inside was clean read more

Other than courteous service, this has got to be the worst Burger King I have ever visited. Food sloppily thrown together. Was cold and very poor in general. Unfortunately for me it was not the first time I have experienced disappointment at this location. Guess, I am a glutton for punishment by returning here once again. But hopefully I have learned my lesson this time. This place is an embarrassment to the brand. read more

i dont know why everyones bashing this burgerking. Yeah I get that your fries is "soft and gritty" but all you needed to say is you want "Fresh Fries". this is the only fastfood i know that actually gives you fresh things when you ask them for fresh. you just need to be a little more patient for the food. I also remembered one night I was really down and I asked for the 9 pieces of chicken fries, and when I opened the box, I saw a happy face and a little heart and they gave me over 10. it absolutely made my night, and I wished I could thank each and every worker then. :) read more

Horrible!!! The good: The girl who took our order was new, seems like her first day, but was very nice. Our food came promptly. The restaurant was empty. The bad: The rugs were sticky, my sandals were sticking to the floor. The ketchup from the eat in serving machine was almost like a soup. Had to ask for the packets instead. The soft drinks had a STRONG chlorine taste to it. Didn't matter if it was soda or fruit punch, tasted gross and extremely hard to drink. I wonder if the restaurant being empty had anything to do with the quality of our meal??? Won't be coming back anytime soon. read more

Yes! This is like the only place open past 10pm on the way from Waipio to Kona. I dunno about all the hate, this is a Burger King. After hiking 18-20 miles thru the mud, partially in darkness, the chicken was out of this world (and we felt good after, too). I wanted to take one star off for the fact that the machine refused to dispense my wife's Oreo Milkshake, so we had to settle for a smoothie, but the smoothie was so good and the other reviews are so unfair I am going to keep it at 5. read more

when I tell you I was STARVING after my shift at work man I was so hungry. me and my sister try to find somewhere, anywhere thats open late we look up when this burger king closes; 11 pm it says. we were coming from waikoloa so we try to get up to waimea as fast as we could, we reached burger king at exactly 10:53 pm. we see the lights still on, thanking the lord that they were open. I see the new spiderverse meal on their sign. "omg im so getting that" i tell my sister, full of joy at that moment with no idea what would happen next. we get to the ordering station or whatever its called and waited for a bit but we were not acknowledged. "umm are you guys even open?" i say loudly into the mic. no response. my sister says to me, "yeah i think they're closed, we can just go to the gas station i guess...". as we drove away i felt my eyes water and I literally started crying. like i was sobbing. the worst part is that i could see the employees inside and i made eye contact with a man in a cowboy hat. like you guys really couldn't have taken just one more order?after my terrible shift at work where i had to stay late to help close, i havent had anything to eat for like 8 hours and all i wanted was a burgerthink about the pain you can cause a person when you decide to close early read more

Worst Burger King I have ever been to. One harder worker taking orders. People making her orders including the Manager giving her a hard time. What does it say about a place when the Manager on duty cannot support the only good worker you have to do the simple task of filling her order! Five people in line, 4 employees, 20 minute wait for an order that she had to practically beg for. Sad. Manager should defiantly be adjusted so that everyone else can work in a better environment. read more

For all of you who downloaded burgerking app to get 1cent whopper, dont waste your time, went to burger king tonight, they don't honor that promotion. Burger King should have said participating burger kings only! We wasted a trip to Waimea BurgerKing. Ordered a whopper, bun was scale and dry. Whopper fell apart. Waste of money. read more

This was one of my worst fast-food experiences. As a mayo hater, I asked for them SPECIFICALLY to NOT put the MAYO that they automatically put on there burgers. They still did. When questioned of why they did so, they said that they only put on their "special mayo sauce". What is someone was allergic to mayonnaise? What are you going to do then Burger King? Wont be returning, I'll stick to the near by McDonalds. read more

I'm not much of a Burger King fan but I love their breakfast. We visited the location in Waimea on the Big Island had was HUGELY disappointed. The cashier would take your order and then start helping to expedite the order before turning to the next person in line. When we got our order my croissant was incorrect. I go up to the counter and no one seemed to want to help. There was one worker (a male) who was standing there cutting up with the manager in her office. He repeatedly looked at me - saw I was holding food in my hand but didn't bother to find out what was wrong. Then I finally see the cashier and got her attention. She came over and I explained my order was wrong and she walked away to say something to the kitchen and then turned back but didn't acknowledge anything. Just went to expedite more orders while there were people in line that needed to place their order. My husband finally came to help because the rest of my food was getting cold. He ended up getting me a new croissant but by that point I was disgusted by the lack of customer service at this Burger King. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. McDonalds is right across the street - you'd be better off going there. read more

It is hard to write a review when one has not eaten at the place. We waited 5 minutes without our order being taken when we were the first (and only) people in line. No BK employee acknowledged us. One female employee was chatting with a female, assumedly, friend, and the other, assumedly the manager, was changing the cash register drawers. They both looked at us but never said a word to us. We left and went to McDonalds across the street, where it was slightly less expensive, the cashier was friendly, and the restaurant was MUCH cleaner. BTW, we are locals. read more

First of all, the hours should be 6am - whenever. Second, the open time they list is barely a suggestion. My co-worker and I roll through waimea every morning between 6 and 6:30 and they are open by 6:15ish almost some of the time. When they do open, nothing is ready. My co-worker has called corporate numerous times but this particular Burger King continues to be terrible. read more

Visited Burger King about an hour ago and the service is poor. They served me cold food and and the girl at the drive thru window was not pleasant at all. And to top it all off my whole order was incorrect. I think that they need better training including the general manager, she was so disrespectful the last time I went. And the short Filipino manager was cussing at the crew. Very unhappy with what I saw!!!!! read more
