We were greeted by a very nice gentleman who sat us at our table on the patio. I went inside to use the restroom and this female server walks up to me, no hello or anything, she says "sorry restrooms for customers only". I am beyond shocked she is this rude to even non-customers, ok if that's the policy but there is a way to communicate kindly especially when you know you have patio seating and people come in from outside. I let her know I AM a customer on the patio and she walks away, no apology. We ended up moving inside due to the heat and this same lady is now our server. We came this time just for hookah, dessert and tea. Our hookah was fantastic! BUT...we ordered baklawa and konafa, she brings out baklawa and what looks like the middle eastern dessert harissa. I tell her that I'm sure this isn't konafa it is harissa ( I am Lebanese I know my konafa lol) and she tells me "no this is definitely konafa". I am soooo shocked I'm now laughing thinking I'm being punked. I called the manager over and I ask him and he tells me I am correct this is not konafa. Our server comes back and tells us she has ONLY been there 2 months she doesn't know the desserts well. Also our $17 pot of hot tea was leaking when you pour and it soaked my blouse, but after the experience we decided to get the check and leave. I was very bothered by this rude server and didn't want to deal with it. On top of all this they included a 20% gratuity on the check without telling us! We accidentally added another 20% tip bc we always tip this even if bad service, until we noticed they already added it. This is not right. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for a while. The outdoor seating and menu looks attractive. The food, however, is overpriced and very average. The kebabs were dry and overly salty while the Shawarma was nothing spectacular. The real kicker however is that in addition to the high price is an automatic 15% gratuity is added to the bill. This is not for the server. You have to add another 20% to the server. So, plan on adding 35% to the existing listed prices.Unfortunately, this just left a bad taste in my mouth and I don't think I'll be going there again nor will I recommend it for others. read more

The service was bad. The waiter never told us the restaurant practically becomes a bar/discotheque after 9pm with extremely loud music. I was with my son and the noise was unbearable. I requested to be seated outside and was totally ignored. I like to party if I am in the mood, but if I am with my family wanting to have a calm and quiet dinner, I would have never selected this restaurant. Poor service. Went to this place for the "Coming to America Brunch on a Sunday" and it was the WORST experience. They charge you $20 per person to go in, then you have to sit outside, because the inside tables are reserved. So you pay to get in, to be told you have to eat outside if you didn't reserve. The waiter Laura took my order, then forgot she did, came back and asked to take my order again. The food is really basic, nothing special and menu is less than 8 items. I ordered loaded waffles , ( ice cream and fruit pebbles) + chicken and I got the waffles, no ice cream and the waiter forgot my chicken. Another waiter comes out and brings me 5 small overcooked chicken wings. I said ma'am i was told the chicken is strips, she goes oh I'm sorry we are out of chicken. The wings she said was no charge and still charged $5.00 for them. The other waiters had no customer service, no one asked if you needed anything. They charged $5.99 for a sprite, and the cup was a child size, not to mention they add 8.81 in gratuity for meals that were 15.99 each. Just awful. Would not recommend. So i ate there last night. The host were very nice and checked on me. Nice environment, the music was loud enough i couldn't hear the waiter. My major gripe was the bill. I was over charged 4.00 for the Turkish coffee. The menu said 4.99 (which i think for a pot is fine) but 6.99 for 2 ounces for very average Turkish coffee is just wrong, even at International Drive prices. I make Turkish coffee at home and i am not Turkish, and know my coffee is better than what was served. I made the mistake of getting 2, not knowing they baited the menu price at 4.99. My main dish was Koshari (Egyptian Rice, Lentils and Macaroni). Being vegetarian it was the only dish besides Soup. I did not want to buy the usual Egyptian -Mid Est fare i.e. Hummous Felafel etc. I would have bought more side dishes, they too were 4.00 over priced. my 40 bill for 2 coffee and Koshari was more than i was going to spend. Message to New owner. Keep up your welcoming manners! Rethink the price on your side dishes, and get real with that waaaayyy over priced coffe. Turn the music down so people can have conversations.
