1 star (only because a zero-star option is unavailable) I contacted this firm seeking bankruptcy-related legal services after being advised that the initial consultation was provided at no cost. I initially declined representation; however, the firm continued to follow up and applied pressure to retain my business, including reducing the quoted filing fee. I ultimately agreed to proceed. I made several monthly payments. After changing banks, I unintentionally missed a small number of automatic debits due to failing to update my payment information. During that period, the firm sent emails and made phone calls checking on the status of my account. Once my payment information was corrected, I eventually made the decision not to proceed with filing bankruptcy, accept my debt, and pay on my own. The firm's written agreement states that a refund may be issued if a client elects not to move forward. What is not clearly disclosed is that all communications and administrative activity--including the purportedly free initial consultation--are later classified as billable. As a result, the firm asserted that all funds I had paid were consumed by fees, leaving no refund available. The engagement agreement does not clearly define what constitutes billable work or when billing begins, which I find materially misleading. After I communicated my decision to discontinue services, the firm continued attempting to retain my business rather than promptly honoring my request to terminate representation. Recommendation: Prospective clients should carefully review and seek clarification--preferably in writing--regarding what this firm considers billable activity and when charges commence. Alternatively, consider retaining a firm that provides clearer disclosures and greater transparency. I also note that in responses to negative reviews, ownership frequently alleges that such reviews are "fake," rather than substantively addressing the concerns raised. Readers may wish to consider that pattern when evaluating this firm. read more

Life changing! I cannot say enough great things about Dominic Majors and his staff. Bankruptcy can be stressful and even frightening, but everyone was so kind, patient, helpful, and professional. From my first phone conversation with Dominic through the entire process, all of my questions were answered and fears set aside. My bankruptcy was filed in April 2023 and discharged in June 2023. It is now June 2025, only 2 years later and I just signed the closing documents for my brand new home purchase. I never thought I would be able to own a home again. I am beyond grateful because this miracle started with the kindness, expertise and experienced help from Dominic. Anyone who is unsure of what to do.... Just start by making that first call. read more

lack of communication and rude. Not helpful and ignore one throughout the process. Use your money elsewhere

Where do I start... From Dominic to Juan to Erin to Brenna To Laura . This was the first law office I called before choosing to file and I knew right off the bat this is who I want to represent me . NOT ONCE did anyone ever not answer my questions and leave me in the dark. If it was over the weekend , a reply to my email would be sent to me for my question first thing in the morning on next business day! I NEVER had to call and get bounced around for an answer or confused on who to contact. Everyone including Dominic made me feel so at ease and helped me understand everything ask with never any confusion and explained next steps and what to expect. This process was a BREEZE and I'm so happy I didn't choose anyone else . THANK YOU MAJORS LAW for helping me through this tough time and help with no confusion or unanswered questions.!! read more

They were friendly and patient but I am fairly certain I submitted thr exact same paperwork multiple times which was quite frustrating. They insisted they did not have them but I think that might be because the scans were not renamed from their computer default names. Otherwise, they were great. read more

We had a very stressful, confusing experience in so many ways with this group. We were automatically thrown into filing for bankruptcy and it all happened so fast. We never received any calls or communications from an attorney directly during our experience. We are already struggling financially and lost our down payment when we tried to cancel after handling our situation on our own. read more

I sent a review a few days ago and just realized an error. The assistant for the Trustee was ILLITERATE. I brought this to the attention of the attorney Celinas Cardenas and to Mr. Majors repeatedly and they did nothing to correct the nonsense sentences. read more

Don't give these thieves your money! For the time you spend uploading and gathering information you could be representing yourself and filling the case on your own. They wanted me to claim bankruptcy even though I had nothing to file for. My credit wasn't as bad as I thought, but they weren't going to tell me that! They are nothing but legal crooks! read more

Unlike other bankruptcy attorneys- Dominic is an advocate who is compassionate and helps you step by step. Jocelyn- his paralegal - held my hand though all the paperwork - being that I am the least tech savy person ever! Faced with foreclosure on my home and home business- I was a wreck. Everyone other law group I'd spoken to were dismissive and offered to send paperwork but did not seem enthusiastic to help me at all. Dominic's office is staffed with kind supportive people who genuinely care. If you are going through a crisis and need an attorney- Majors Law Group is who you should choose. read more

I have been looking for several weeks for a bankruptcy attorney and always see majors ads online. I was worried because they had only been opened for a short time but finally called today. The guy that helped me made me feel like I was at a used car lot. He gave me very little information and just wanted my debit card number. When I told him I wanted to think about it he even asked what he could do to make me sign up today. Not professional at all and felt kinda creepy. I will keep looking. read more

These people represent my mother in a bankruptcy. I read the reviews and feel confused why her experience was so much different than what is described. Every time she called she had to leave a message and she would have to call several times to get someone to call her back. My mom is 72 and all the girls she talked to were short and snappy and did not have any patience with her. They even lost her documents and my wife had to help her get everything together again to mail to their office. Nothing about them made the process any easier for my poor mother. Now she is scared she is going to lose her house because the court said it is worth more than these useless attorneys said it was. They won't talk to me about it when I call and she doesn't understand what is going on. I can only pray these attorneys will let her keep her house. It is all she has. read more
