The worst law firm I have ever come across. I paid everything up front.. Every fee imaginable. I was advised by my household name group of business contacts, that they have been accused of fraud and to be very careful... I can see that Breeanna O. had the exact same experience. They took 3, 586.94 to tell me they could not complete my paperwork, as I DID ALL OF THE FILING TO THEM!! Stated at the beginning everything was paid and finalized! I had cancer, a terrible divorce, and everything was taken from me.... As soon as they heard I had some Rolexes, and fine goods in the past, they accused me of hiding that from them, and the TRUSTEE WAS SALIVATING to get their hands on my goods....The first parallegal dropped everything. For a few months heard nothing, when I was sick in the hospital... Finally, they followed up. As soon as the attorney took over, it was nothing but arguing, and poor trust, from client to attorney. BANKRUPTCY...OUCH...So i thought! Mistake #1 Don't take advice from friends and family...MISTAKE #2 They convinced me to go the Debt Relief route. MISTAKE #3. All that did was drag out my financial problems . MISTAKE #4 Lets face it, i was in trouble. I was in financial ruin and needed help. I saw the ads on TV for The Oswalt Law Group and their specialty being bankruptcy. I finally decided that i would swallow my pride and took Oswalt up on their first FREE consolation and payment plan. Lets face it, I was broke and they knew it and offered me a payment plan. I couldn't keep going, deeper and deeper in debt and they were there for me. I was scared, But after that initial meeting i knew i made the right decision to sign on to the Oswalt Group file for Chapter 7. Brian and Ian were my main contacts and they were great. I immediately got a warm welcome. One person that seemed to always go out of his way was Brian . He was the most supportive right from the beginning. I paid over $2350 over the course of a year for Bankruptcy. Other than the initial meeting I didn't use services with the office during the entire year. I did call and leave a message once about a question I had, but no one ever responded. Once the year was up I changed my mind about filing and requested to discontinue services and have the balance after fees refunded to me. They ended up keeping all the money except $924. I requested cancellation in 2/16 but didn't receive a refund until 3/23. It came via paper check despite the fact that I paid electronically and on time each month for a year. read more

Unfortunately I had to file bankruptcy so I was dreading my first appt. This office made a very difficult circumstance a lot easier to get thru. In a nutshell...All of the Staff was VERY friendly and professional, I experienced Top notch communication, they "made sure" that I had all of the contact information so that they could quickly respond every time I had a question or concern which put my mind at ease and I really appreciated that. Important side note: From the moment I walked into the office I felt relief because everything from the way the office was decorated with soothing lighting and comfy furniture to the very friendly Front Desk Admin to the Staff that I interacted with, made me feel like they went out of their way to make me feel relaxed and that everything would be ok. Took me 2 years to get a response about cancellation, then they ended up saying that I had no refund after I spend over $2000 towards the bankruptcy. When all responses were just a copy and paste and 3 other people received the exact same email. I would not use them even if we needed to fill again. Now I know why they say all lawyers are liars and thieves. It these people. Go with anyone else. Update. Brian just gave me a call and said because his name was mentioned in a review that makes it deformation of character, and that yelp has to take down my review because I'm unhappy with them? Just because they are attorneys doesn't mean that they should be able to walk over people how they are and sue someone because of how the company treated them. Undoubtedly the WORST Law Firm I have ever dealt with. They are quick to take your money but rival only a broken down trash truck with the driver on strike. The personnel in their offices don't talk to each other, often contacting the client requesting the same info. Quick to take your money, but When you overpay, they are slow in giving it back. I overpaid 3 weeks ago, contacting them several times for my refund and I still haven't received my refund. I have filed a complaint with the AZ AG office and I'm contacting the state bar next. We had to file for a Chapter 13 bankruptcy back in 2019. We didn't have any clue of how that process worked or what it would look like. I'm so thankful that we hired Oswalt Law Group for our attorney because they were phenomenal. They took us through the process step by step and really did their absolute best to make sure we didn't feel overwhelmed. They fought for us to make sure our plan payments were doable and we managed to make those payments faithfully (even through CoVid). They answered any and all questions we had and were timely in their response even 4 and 1/2 years in. Their fees are very affordable and you get more than your moneys worth with their representation. My review was removed today. However Yelp is designed to shared experiences I will re-write it. I was very disappointed and disgusted with the manner in which the business was conducted at this firm. Yes the manager(?) did act like a used car sales person. And since yelp said I did not write enough information, well here it is. My girlfriend and I were there for help with some debt consolidation(way to personal but yelp wants it). I would never recommend this firm to anyone. I felt like I was mislead when signing a contract with this law firm. It was all about the money and I was not guaranteed anything. They pull you in with a free consolation and then start giving you the guilt trip about how much debt you are in and We need their help. After signing the contract we decided not to go with this law firm. I felt that after 1 day We could get some of the money back but nope. The manager whose name is Brian took 3 days to call back so my girlfriend could cancel, what we signed up for and it was nothing but phone tag. I felt that this law firm did not show professionalism to my girlfriend or myself. It took longer to sign the paper work then actually discus the issues. I was semi discouraged when I first got there because of how behind they were running, and the lack of a receptionist at the front desk on a Saturday. However my faith was changed when I met with Kyle. Kyle welcomed me in his office, went over the paperwork, my debts, and helped me go over all of the paperwork. However they were not going to be the right attorney to represent me. They offered payment plans, but not exactly what I needed or was looking for. There was a few things that stood out to me that came off as shady, and that part made me uncomfortable, and it made me understand their previous reviews. However I do like to give chances first and I was looking for an attorney so I was open to different law groups. I *REALLY* wish there was a way to give a negative or 1/2 star for my review. I had a consultation a few months back with one of their attorneys for filing Bankruptcy. The consultation was not bad, and the gentleman was very personable and helpful. it was after the fact that I felt like I just wasted an hour of my time, as well as his. I was told if I gave them the word right there on the spot, they could start the paperwork and get everything going. I mentioned to the gentleman that I would like a night or two to think about it. I emailed him two days later with a question before I move forward, and never heard back. I figured E-Mail would be the best way to communicate, as I know there are folks like me, who get numerous phone calls and voicemails that they may not be able to get back to in a reasonable time. However, after 6 weeks, I figure by now, it's been more than enough time. I will DEFINITELY NOT be contacting them again, and are looking elsewhere for assistance in my Chapter 13. It seems that if you don't sign on the dotted line before you leave their office, they don't want ANYTHING to do with you after the fact! I hope other folks have a better resolution and experience with them than I did. read more
