By far the worst experience ever. They took my money just to tell me that they can't help me. I requested a cancellation then spoke with Brian who didn't care either way with what I wanted to do. I call about my refund check just to be told I'm not getting one! You used 3,586.94 to do what? File paper work? This place is a joke! read more

The worst law firm I have ever come across. I paid everything up front.. Every fee imaginable. I was advised by my household name group of business contacts, that they have been accused of fraud and to be very careful... I can see that Breeanna O. had the exact same experience. They took 3, 586.94 to tell me they could not complete my paperwork, as I DID ALL OF THE FILING TO THEM!! Stated at the beginning everything was paid and finalized! I had cancer, a terrible divorce, and everything was taken from me.... As soon as they heard I had some Rolexes, and fine goods in the past, they accused me of hiding that from them, and the TRUSTEE WAS SALIVATING to get their hands on my goods....The first parallegal dropped everything. For a few months heard nothing, when I was sick in the hospital... Finally, they followed up. As soon as the attorney took over, it was nothing but arguing, and poor trust, from client to attorney. Won't give me the courtesy of speaking to me, or my paperwork. THEY ARE THIEVES!! My father is retired INTELLIGENCE, AND SAID HE IS NOT SURPRISED... EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND IILLEGAL! NO STARS ZERO PROFESSIONALISM CON ARTISTS REPORTING TO ATTORNEY GENERAL! read more

Great lawyers and assistants, made the right choice in picking this law group. Communication was right on time, and constant.

Thanks for the time on the phone today Bryan. Very helpful information on a first contact. I will not be shy to call back if needed!

BANKRUPTCY...OUCH...So i thought! Mistake #1 Don't take advice from friends and family...MISTAKE #2 They convinced me to go the Debt Relief route. MISTAKE #3. All that did was drag out my financial problems . MISTAKE #4 Lets face it, i was in trouble. I was in financial ruin and needed help. I saw the ads on TV for The Oswalt Law Group and their specialty being bankruptcy. I finally decided that i would swallow my pride and took Oswalt up on their first FREE consolation and payment plan. Lets face it, I was broke and they knew it and offered me a payment plan. I couldn't keep going, deeper and deeper in debt and they were there for me. I was scared, But after that initial meeting i knew i made the right decision to sign on to the Oswalt Group file for Chapter 7. Brian and Ian were my main contacts and they were great. I immediately got a warm welcome. One person that seemed to always go out of his way was Brian . He was the most supportive right from the beginning. Thank you Brian for being there for me whenever I needed advice, support , and answering my questions . Ian did a great job as well. If i left a message that i needed to speak to him, within 15 minutes I got a call back. Right from the beginning I immediately started to get phone calls from the folks at Oswalt to direct me as to what i needed to do in order to follow the Chapter 7 rules. I never thought that a law firm would be so supportive and sensitive to my needs and fears. These people know what they are doing. They are pros in the bankruptcy arena. They know all the ropes in what you need to do to make the filing for bankruptcy as comfortable as possible. I would say that there isn't any bankruptcy firm that is better plus the people that work there care and are the best as well. PS Sandra, Nice job as a TV star....LOL! read more

Nick provided excellent service. Walked me through everything and answered all the questions I had. He took his time and made sure I understood everything. Definitely recommend oswalt law group. read more

I paid over $2350 over the course of a year for Bankruptcy. Other than the initial meeting I didn't use services with the office during the entire year. I did call and leave a message once about a question I had, but no one ever responded. Once the year was up I changed my mind about filing and requested to discontinue services and have the balance after fees refunded to me. They ended up keeping all the money except $924. I requested cancellation in 2/16 but didn't receive a refund until 3/23. It came via paper check despite the fact that I paid electronically and on time each month for a year. read more

Same day appointments and availability. Be sure to ask a lot of questions. There are so many nuances with the law.

I love them! Hi highly recommend them, they were all so helpful and answered every question I had.

Absolutely Outstanding Experience with Oswalt Law Group! I can't say enough about how amazing the team at Oswalt Law Group has been. After years of frustration, broken promises, and wasted money with other firms who constantly left me in the dark with unreturned emails and no real results, I had just about lost hope. Then I found Oswalt Law Group--and everything changed. From the very beginning, they were responsive, professional, and truly supportive. I want to give a huge shoutout to Lexi, Janine, Argelia, and my attorney, Eric T.--every single one of them went above and beyond. They answered all my questions quickly, kept me in the loop every step of the way, and made what seemed like an impossible situation feel manageable. What other firms couldn't resolve in years, Oswalt Law Group handled in just a couple of months. The difference was night and day. Their follow-through, communication, and commitment to their clients are unmatched. I'm beyond grateful for the hand-holding and genuine care they showed me throughout the process. If you're tired of being let down and want a team that actually delivers, Oswalt Law Group is the one. They're not just good--they're phenomenal. Way to go, Oswalt! Thank you for everything! read more

I've only been with them for a short while, they work with you, totally understanding and all the associates I've dealt with are very professional! I totally recommend ! read more

Reviews are reviews... everyone has an opinion. I get it. Clearly everyone's experience can be different but our experience with Brian Timpani at Oswald has been very good. When you need to hire a legal team you want to feel confident. I feel that he listened, provided plenty of confidence in what he would be doing on our behalf and that his fees for said services were fair. I encourage anyone considering Oswald to go thru atleast an initial consultation... give them a chance to hear you, and I really think you will not regret it. read more

Unfortunately I had to file bankruptcy so I was dreading my first appt. This office made a very difficult circumstance a lot easier to get thru. In a nutshell...All of the Staff was VERY friendly and professional, I experienced Top notch communication, they "made sure" that I had all of the contact information so that they could quickly respond every time I had a question or concern which put my mind at ease and I really appreciated that. Important side note: From the moment I walked into the office I felt relief because everything from the way the office was decorated with soothing lighting and comfy furniture to the very friendly Front Desk Admin to the Staff that I interacted with, made me feel like they went out of their way to make me feel relaxed and that everything would be ok. I felt like I received service above and beyond what I expected, and to my surprise they were very reasonably priced! I would "Highly" recommend this office! The owner created a beautiful Attorney/Client experience! read more

They are definitely just interested in your money. Took me 2 years to get a response about cancellation, then they ended up saying that I had no refund after I spend over $2000 towards the bankruptcy. When all responses were just a copy and paste and 3 other people received the exact same email. I would not use them even if we needed to fill again. Now I know why they say all lawyers are liars and thieves. It these people. Go with anyone else. Update. Brian just gave me a call and said because his name was mentioned in a review that makes it deformation of character, and that yelp has to take down my review because I'm unhappy with them? Just because they are attorneys doesn't mean that they should be able to walk over people how they are and sue someone because of how the company treated them. Calling with threats is NOT appropriate behavior. read more

Dealing with Brian has been such a terrible experience. If you would like to work with people who take so much happiness and pride in taking advantage of people that are in financial difficulties and situations you have come to the right law group. They definitely will take advantage of you. Brian reached out to Ms. Oswalt herself to ask about a refund cuz we changed our minds about a bankruptcy and Ms. Oswalt must need every penny that she can get from anyone... they are charging over $2000 just to NOT do a bankruptcy. I guess sending emails that are already done and you have to just include name must be SUPER hard for these typical money hungry lawyers. Glad you greediness is what you need Ms. Oswalt. I'm sure your brand new cars a worth taking advantage of people that are really struggling. What a terrible business. I will tell EVERYONE about this terrible experience. read more

Matt is amazing and extremely helpful. He goes out of his way to make sure you understand everything you are dealing with in the realm bankruptcy. A true professional, and a winner. If I ran a law firm, I would want him on my team! read more

This place called me to change my review to a 5-star review. They did offer to make the situation better. I didn't experience a five-star with the lawyer they assigned me to. The review of the 5 stars I gave was misleading. I'm very sorry & don't feel good about being asked to give a 5-star review. I'm sure Oswalt has some decent people that are honest that work there My experience was horrible with the person that Oswalt assigned me to. He was very pushy & not helpful. I felt like bankruptcy was fast food & I was just being pushed through so he could meet a quota for the day. Just because my experience was bad with Oswalt & that doesn't mean yours will be. The person they gave me was a used car sales type that tried to pressure me to sign up for bankruptcy. I hope your experience is better than mine. Shop around & talk to several bankruptcy lawyers before picking one out. read more

Brian ar Oswalt has been so helpful and wonderful during this not so fun time. They have a great Team there!

My wife and my experience with Oswalt Law Group has been exceptional! They took the reigns with our creditors and navigated a chapter 7 bankruptcy for us with diligence, courtesy and professionalism! I am filing bankruptcy and this law firm has been nothing short of amazing. I paid my fees off a couple years ago, but due to some unexpected life circumstances I was unable to complete the process. I called the firm, fully believing I would have to pay extra costs and fees for waiting so long to contact them to file. I was so pleasantly surprised to hear they (I spoke with Wayne) would honor all of my previous payments and not have to pay anything extra for my lack of communication and waiting years to file. It has relieved so much of my worry and stress! Thank you so much! read more

I have been a customer I have went through the bankruptcy I used my income tax when I signed up with them and then I was told they would take my income tax but it wouldn't be all of my income tax for following year and they took every bit of it except for $13 in some cents I am so tired of people law firms attorneys I will never use anybody ever again and I don't recommend any bankruptcy attorneys they are a joke they're liars they just want all the money they can get because they went to school and got himself wherever they are today well I went to school too and I got where I am today and I would never screw people like I've been screwed so I hope people do not go to Oswald law group because they are fake they are liars That's all I have to say right now I will never use them again and I will never recommend them to anybody Thank you read more

Undoubtedly the WORST Law Firm I have ever dealt with. They are quick to take your money but rival only a broken down trash truck with the driver on strike. The personnel in their offices don't talk to each other, often contacting the client requesting the same info. Quick to take your money, but When you overpay, they are slow in giving it back. I overpaid 3 weeks ago, contacting them several times for my refund and I still haven't received my refund. I have filed a complaint with the AZ AG office and I'm contacting the state bar next. You're do better by getting a phone number off a poster board at a stop light. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE, RUN...AS FAST YOU CAN!!!! read more

We had to file for a Chapter 13 bankruptcy back in 2019. We didn't have any clue of how that process worked or what it would look like. I'm so thankful that we hired Oswalt Law Group for our attorney because they were phenomenal. They took us through the process step by step and really did their absolute best to make sure we didn't feel overwhelmed. They fought for us to make sure our plan payments were doable and we managed to make those payments faithfully (even through CoVid). They answered any and all questions we had and were timely in their response even 4 and 1/2 years in. Their fees are very affordable and you get more than your moneys worth with their representation. We could not have gone through this process without Oswalt Law Group. Highly, highly recommend if you are in the unfortunate situation of having to file for bankruptcy. read more

My review was removed today. However Yelp is designed to shared experiences I will re-write it. I was very disappointed and disgusted with the manner in which the business was conducted at this firm. Yes the manager(?) did act like a used car sales person. And since yelp said I did not write enough information, well here it is. My girlfriend and I were there for help with some debt consolidation(way to personal but yelp wants it). I would never recommend this firm to anyone. I felt like I was mislead when signing a contract with this law firm. It was all about the money and I was not guaranteed anything. They pull you in with a free consolation and then start giving you the guilt trip about how much debt you are in and We need their help. After signing the contract we decided not to go with this law firm. I felt that after 1 day We could get some of the money back but nope. The manager whose name is Brian took 3 days to call back so my girlfriend could cancel, what we signed up for and it was nothing but phone tag. I felt that this law firm did not show professionalism to my girlfriend or myself. It took longer to sign the paper work then actually discus the issues. This law firm should not threaten Yelp and my freedom of speech when it comes to expressing my feelings about a business. read more

When considering bankruptcy I looked at a bunch of different law groups and lawyers before deciding on Oswalt. I was semi discouraged when I first got there because of how behind they were running, and the lack of a receptionist at the front desk on a Saturday. However my faith was changed when I met with Kyle. Kyle welcomed me in his office, went over the paperwork, my debts, and helped me go over all of the paperwork. Kyle has been so helpful throughout the beginning of this process, and if anybody needs a recommendation as to make a appt with this is the guy to see. Thanks Kyle! read more

A 3 star rating because Brian was very friendly and informative when asking the right questions. They have a clean office and comfortable setting. However they were not going to be the right attorney to represent me. They offered payment plans, but not exactly what I needed or was looking for. There was a few things that stood out to me that came off as shady, and that part made me uncomfortable, and it made me understand their previous reviews. However I do like to give chances first and I was looking for an attorney so I was open to different law groups. This was not going to work for me and if it wasn't for Brian they would have 1 star. read more

I *REALLY* wish there was a way to give a negative or 1/2 star for my review. I had a consultation a few months back with one of their attorneys for filing Bankruptcy. The consultation was not bad, and the gentleman was very personable and helpful. it was after the fact that I felt like I just wasted an hour of my time, as well as his. I was told if I gave them the word right there on the spot, they could start the paperwork and get everything going. I mentioned to the gentleman that I would like a night or two to think about it. I emailed him two days later with a question before I move forward, and never heard back. I figured E-Mail would be the best way to communicate, as I know there are folks like me, who get numerous phone calls and voicemails that they may not be able to get back to in a reasonable time. However, after 6 weeks, I figure by now, it's been more than enough time. I will DEFINITELY NOT be contacting them again, and are looking elsewhere for assistance in my Chapter 13. It seems that if you don't sign on the dotted line before you leave their office, they don't want ANYTHING to do with you after the fact! I hope other folks have a better resolution and experience with them than I did. read more

If there were 10 stars, I would have selected 10 stars. Bankruptcy is not a place I thought I would ever find myself. I had a fico of 798, made an annual salary of $400K, owned a beautiful home and here I am. Bankruptcy does not discriminate! I found Oswalt after working with a completely incompetent law firm and thank GOD for doing so! Sandra has built a team of passionate, competent, skilled and empathetic people. Tiffany is such a phenomenal resource; almost an encyclopedia for bankruptcy. If at any time she is unclear, she will consult with Sandra and I have a response within hours. I was floored by their constant, timely and robust communication. There have been times when Sandra has called me directly to answer any questions I may have.
