I've been a customer of The Vitamin Shoppe for over 10 years. I purchase all my products thru them…read morebecause they have excellent prices and typically great customer service. Today I placed an order at 10:30 am online and thought it was funny that by 5pm I didn't hear back. I called to follow up and essentially the lady on the phone told me she couldn't look up the order because she didn't have access to the order number nor the order. I always order from the Gateway store and they have never had a problem looking up my orders. Long story short, the team member gave up on me and my order and said that because the item isn't in stock and they couldn't look up the item number, she could no longer help me. She even invited me to the store so she could show me the computer so I could see for my self that she doesn't have the access. Once she said that, I said I get that you don't have it in stock but what do you have in stock. I can't believe that person gave up so quick. I ended up calling the 866 number and they were able to help me. My takeaway from that phone conversation is to still order from The Vitamin Shoppe but avoid the Sunland Park location and go to the Gateway location where they can still help and not give up so quickly. She was so hung up on what they didn't have in stock that they forgot to look up what they did have so I could get it. ‍‍.

Superb customer service!…read more I went in twice to repair my glasses, which were from another place. Both times the staff was courteous and fun to be around. Since I was there twice, I got a good look at their merchandise. They have frames which are astoundingly unique, made from materials like buffalo horn to wood or high-grade plastics, and are patterned like no other frame you have seen, especially not in El Paso! You don't get your gaudy D&G or GUESS standing out from a mile away. Instead, you are able to acquire fashionable, beautiful frames for everyday wear, as well as prescription sunglasses. I recommend you check them out--you will be glad you did; that is, if you like quality frames and individualized, tailored to your wants and needs, customer service.

But while you're waiting they let you browse the glasses options to see what you like. I had Jaime as my person and he was awesome! He offers you suggestions on what he thinks would look nice on you (you can tell he has good fashion sense by his choice of glasses) as well as UV protection, transition glasses, etc. He engages in nice conversation with you and tries to get you the best deals he can. I highly recommend Jaime! The workers here do not rush you to pick a pair of glasses or act like they're ready to go home despite how busy it is, so I highly recommend this place! I thought it was strange that the people that were working there seemed very young, almost like they had just graduated from high school. I had issues with the bifocal contact lenses and when I called back nobody answered. So I went into the mall to see what was going on and personally talk to somebody there, and there was a note on the door saying that Lux Vision were out of business, and that they could contact Lux vision in Houston!
