Greatly appreciate the excellent service in the optical department at this Lens Crafters location. I did not visit the optometry (eye doctor) department, only the optical portion of the store when you choose frames and get the prescription filled. Andrew in particular goes above and beyond to make sure everything is correct. I have a tricky prescription and Andrew takes the time needed to really make sure everything works. He was able to identify what would help me to get the best vision out of my frames and prescription so I would have a good result and be able to see well through my new lenses. I continue to return regularly to this location at Sunland Park because I know I will get excellent service from friendly people who are willing to help me and I know my prescription will be filled correctly and that my glasses will work correctly for me. read more

Dr. Dorian Acosta gave me a prescription and didn't make me wait five days to come back for a follow up visit. He said that it was the correct prescription and that I didn't need a follow up appointment. I thought it was strange that the people that were working there seemed very young, almost like they had just graduated from high school. They were talking amongst them selves and having a good old time. Two months later, I couldn't deal with the contact lens prescription anymore. I had issues with the bifocal contact lenses and when I called back nobody answered. So I went into the mall to see what was going on and personally talk to somebody there, and there was a note on the door saying that Lux Vision were out of business, and that they could contact Lux vision in Houston! I am not a fan of Lens Crafter's particularly, but I thought I would go to this one in desperation for an eye exam. I was a few minutes late because of a traffic jam. They told me I would have to re-schedule. I just left. Lens Crafters at this location uses telemedicine doc (via tv) to determine your prescription. Not for me. Also, they don't accept major brands of insurance. I was expected to pay for everything out of pocket. When you think Lens Crafters can't get any worse, they succeed at getting worse. read more

LensCrafters did such an amazing job today! First off, going in with Ms. Alomia for my eye exam was so easy and fast. Then, going in to pick my frames was a breeze, because I'm the type to look at frames online and choose a few styles I like, that way if they have them in store I can have a look at them and decide whether I really like them or they're just not for me. Also, before even setting foot in the store you're reassured that all frames have been disinfected and there's multiple trays to put whatever pairs you've touched or tried on so they can disinfect them after each use. During this visit I was helped by the store manager herself and she was nothing but kind and helpful. LensCrafters may be pricier but you're definitely paying for quality, and I don't think I'd want to go anywhere else after today. read more

Stopped by to get my glasses fixed. One of the arms was really crooked. Had tried tightening the screw, but that didn't work. The store manager told me it wasn't the screw, rather it was the arm mechanism. She said she could try to fix it, but that they could break. I went with my gut and let her have at them. Figured they might break. Had already started considering getting another pair. However, she was able to fix them. So glad!! I believe her name is Margaret. She's awesome! Friendly, knowledgeable, and obviously knows her stuff. That's why I always go to LensCrafters at Sunland. Thank you!!! read more

1 is lowest to rate this place but actually should be Zero! Went there last night to look at frames with my sons at 8:40pm. Doors were locked and I could see the guy at the counter. Not even a flinch to come and ask me if I wanted to come in and look around. Anyway LensCrafters just lost 3 customers, first time buyers, because he was too busy I guess to carry his arse over and open the door. They close at 9:00pm and I was there at 8:40pm. For me this demonstrates poor customer service and in a way a blessing I didn't get glasses from them. read more

LensCrafters on Sunland Park in El Paso, TX will never be used by anyone our family again. Additionally, I will continue to detail their extreme lack of professionalism and let everyone I know about the service or lack of customer service exhibited by their company at each opportunity that I can. It has been almost two months since I entered their office in the Sunland Park Mall in El Paso, TX to select new frames and order new lenses. I paid almost $600 for my copay for payment in full that day. Initially, I was told they would be ready in about ten days. To date I have not received any customer service contact in any form from a LensCrafters. Though I should elaborate and say I have received numerous emails from their headquarters regarding sales discounts, while encouraging me to utilize their fantastic company. NOT!! Both my husband and I have repeatedly tried to contact both the local and the national offices. The local office states on their phone system to contact the Headquarters. The national head office has also ignored our contact for the most part and tells us to contact the local office. One time we did actually speak to a human and explained our concern along with growing irritation and anger. At the end of that call they agreed to have my new glasses mailed to me, knowing that after the local offices opened back up that I would go and get them adjusted. They were to be shipped within 48 hours. That was over five weeks ago. The glasses have not been received by me. We continue to make phone calls and leave messages. We have emailed and tried to chat with the National office to no avail. We went to the mall this week, the office was locked up. The eye dr next door took our name and phone number and texted the problem we were having to the local LensCrafters manager so they could let us know when this problem would be addressed. Again, no contact initiated from the manager of the local office. We are fed up. This is outrageous, a poor example of management and customer service. read more

Dr. Nitardy and his staff are so nice and helpful. I've been a patient for years and they have always been so accommodating. They are open on Saturdays, which is extremely convenient if you work all week. I highly recommend this office if you are having eye issues or just need a basic eye exam. read more

Just got the best service ever! Staff was super friendly, and patient in waiting for me to pick my glasses out. They verified my insurance (Superior Vision) and gave me different options on which glasses would be cheaper with my insurance. They have glasses ready within an hour. I felt compelled to write about my experience with Dr. Nitardy. While on detail to El Paso, TX, I misplaced my prescription glasses. I called Sam's to see if they could order me some contact lenses until my return to Houston. The man who answered the phone told me that it would take a week. I called Dr. Nitardy to explain my situation and he said he could have it for me the next day. In the meantime, he said he would give me a couple trial contact lenses to get me through until my contacts come in. When I showed up at his office to place my order, he gave me 5 days' supply of contact lenses. He was extremely nice, helpful and professional. It is very difficult nowadays to find a healthcare professional that would take time to talk to you, much less being nice and helpful. I would highly recommend Dr. Nitardy for your vision care needs. read more

Dr Barentine was very informative and saved me lots of money compared to the Children s Eye Center (which is good if you have lots of eye problems and willing to wait a very very very long time even with an appointment). Also in comparison, very clean and up to date environment. After this experience, I certainly will be switching to Dr Barentine!! read more
