My father, an army veteran, asked her if they provided discounts and she said "Lets see!, Lets see!" My father asked her what she meant by that and she would not answer him. She would not answer my father. She then told my father he could go somewhere else. We decided to leave and she scartasically said "Happy Holidays!" I ended up going to PENN MUFFLERS in Pennsauken, where they treated my father with respect and right off the bat told him they did give Veteran's discount which they applied to the bill.

My car's thermostat was randomly jumping up to dangerous levels and then dropping back down to normal. The first place I took it to (associated with a dealer) told me that the head gasket needed to be replaced and gave me a four-figure quote. My uncle recommended getting a second opinion from Morgan's because he has been taking his employer's fleet of vehicles there for years. They replaced the thermostat and my problem was solved! They saved me THOUSANDS of dollars. If they find more issues than expected and it's going to be more expensive, they always call you first. In one of those phone calls the owner said to me "we're too busy to do unnecessary work", and I believe him wholeheartedly. They're good, honest people and I can't praise them enough. Definitely make an appointment ahead of time if you can. They always have a full docket.

Lack of communication is a big problem at this location. On a previous visit, I had my car towed in on a Sunday, at which time I called to let them know what the issue was. I followed up again on Monday morning, because I know that there is likely different staff on the weekdays. I was given an attitude and was told something along the lines of "I'll let the mechanics do their job". Then when I talked to them later that day, after already telling two people what the issue was, the person on the phone asked "so, uh, what's the problem with your vehicle?" Unbelievable. On that same topic, they aren't good about calling to let you know what is going on with your vehicle. If you don't make it a point to call in and check, you could be without your car even longer than expected. Also, on both of my previous two visits, they did not hold the appointment time that I scheduled. My car was not pulled in for nearly two hours after the appointment time on both occasions. It's pretty clear they have trouble staffing this location. On a previous visit, I brought my car in early on a weekday. My car was not finished, and I was told they couldn't complete it for another two days because the person who was a specialist in that area was going to be off. On top of these things, every service that I've had done has taken way longer than expected. I think they people that they have may be doing their best, but lack of capable mechanics along with poor communication result in unacceptable service. This is the closest auto repair place to me, and I've given them several chances, but I'm done with them now.
