I took my keep in to have an oil change. one day later noticed what appeared to be oil leaking. took it back and was told it now had a cracked radiator, thermostat was stuck, bad hose of some sort and a few other things.,, all of this just a day or two having them changed the oil!!! total cost to have these "out of no where " issues fixed is $1100 and something!! I'm livid. I cannot see this just happening with no warning lights or issues. I stopped going to then years ago, but desp needed to get my oil changed and get my vehicle back. they did an oil change on my mom's car once and next day her engine was damaged. They swear it was nothing they did to my Jeep, but I know it's a lie. I pray Karma shuts that place down!! read more

Over the years they've shifted their focus, at first they tried charging my girl $250 for lug nuts, had to get them removed, I let that slide and continued to be their loyal customer, then I was charged for a filter that was never replaced, I let that one go, then it was my car they jacked up, being a long time customer I def didn't think to inspect their work but I should of, they damaged my rim (see pic) I called and the guy over the phone gave me excuses why it wasn't them, got an opinion from a pro he said yea it def had to be them. The short version: they're honest and do good work. The long version: as long as I live within reasonable driving distance, I will always take my car to Morgan's for repair. My car's thermostat was randomly jumping up to dangerous levels and then dropping back down to normal. The first place I took it to (associated with a dealer) told me that the head gasket needed to be replaced and gave me a four-figure quote. My uncle recommended getting a second opinion from Morgan's because he has been taking his employer's fleet of vehicles there for years. They replaced the thermostat and my problem was solved! They saved me THOUSANDS of dollars. If they find more issues than expected and it's going to be more expensive, they always call you first. In one of those phone calls the owner said to me "we're too busy to do unnecessary work", and I believe him wholeheartedly. They're good, honest people and I can't praise them enough. Definitely make an appointment ahead of time if you can. They always have a full docket. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I dropped my car off at 11am for a brake line fix. They said it would be a few hours for the quote. I said "fine". They called back at 5:11pm. I missed the call and returned the call 30min later. No answer. I assumed they were closed. Saturday, i get up and call twice, no answer. At this time, I was in Philly and could not stop by. I called again around 1pm. No answer. They had closed early for the weekend. They NEVER informed me that they were changing business hours for the holiday. Now, it is Monday (Labor Day) and my family plans are trashed because they kept the truck all weekend and I still dont know the quote. Which means they still havent begun the work. I have work tomorrow, I will have to pay for transportation and I use my truck for UBER/LYFT and have lost ALL potential income from the Holiday weekend. They just do not care about you or your need to have your car back on the road. They would NEVER get a dollar or a recommendation out of me. DAY 5 & they still have my car: I spoke to a rep via email. He claims he called me several times. I have only the ONE missed call. I also have ZERO voice mails from them except the initial one that said " call back". The rep tells me its very important i dont miss their calls. Excuse me? That initial call was SIX HOURS after drop off and I have no other call from them at all in my log. As I have gone along and told people the story, a coworker said her husband had received a different quote than her to do same work on same car. I had been dealing with Morgan Tire for 15 years or so and have had good service and more importantly, had trusted them until now. I had brought my Honda Pilot in to have a stuck thermostat replaced in early February and sit it was getting cold, I decided to let them replace it. BIG MISTAKE! When the repairs were done, the tech gave me back my car with more warning lights on my instrument panel lit like a Christmas tree. I drove off, and now the transmission didn't shift automatically. I circled around the block and returned to the counter and explained that the car didn't do this when I came in, and now was in worse shape than originally. He stated that since it was Friday and they didn't work on Saturday, I could leave it for someone to look at it Monday. I said that was unacceptable and just took the car back and immediately took the car to the local Honda dealer. The problem with the shifting was a harness plug improperly connected, causing the transmission problem. Fir crying out loud, this is mechanics 101! It just shows me that this shop just doesn't care anymore. And to add insult to injury, I noticed a coolant leak under the thermostat housing. Again, back to the Honda dealer and lo and behold-the thermostat housing is leaking after less than 3 months!!! What ever happens to the Morgan Tire I had known and trusted for so many years? I am also in the mechanical trades so I do know something of service. I will never go back to this organization and as for others...BUYER BEWARE! I really don't understand where or how they have all these good reviews. Morgans keeps your car for the longest without looking at it. They will absolutely never call you to give you updates on the status of your vehicle. You literally will have to call them multiple times to get anywhere with them, weather you have an appointment or not. They will then transfer you to the back to this guy that answers the phone totally unprofessional, seems and will talk totally uninterested. I don't use Morgans no more at all for none of my cars, but unfortunately I made the dumb mistake recommending my brothers to use them for a few things, since they are close to where they live, but oh my God, I'm regretting it and feeling bad for them all at the same time. I will also add that the labor charges are ridiculous. The last bill I saw of one of my brother's was a $100 part, with over $300 worth of labor fees. Unfortunately, my mistake of recommending my brothers here once, made them think I recommend them for everything, but absolutely NOT. I will encourage them to go elsewhere after this last repair one of them have their car in for now. Its so bad and annoying that they got so fed up with Morgans, that they beg me to deal with them. Like I said in the beginning, I'm just baffled by all the good reviews, I'm seeing, makes me think maybe the service we are receiving is because the color of our skin, but who knows. I bought and paid for 4 new tires, balanced, and front wheel alignment on June 17 2022. My wife picked up the car and after she got home I noticed the DOT stamp on the tires were 3121. They were manufactured the first week of August in 2021. So at the time of my purchase they were almost a year old. In my experience tires last about 6 years before they begin to dry rot. So I already have lost a year of this period. I called Morgan's to see what they would do for me. I expected they would offer me a nominal refund for the loss of one year's usage of the tires. (Tires were $115 each, so I thought a reduction of 1/6 would be fair - to account for the loss of one year out of the 6-year life of the tires. That would have meant a refund to me of $76). I spoke with Kristen. She said she would look into it and call me back. I didn't get a callback so 2 days later I called Morgan's again. This time Kristen said there was nothing they could do for me. Those were the tires that her warehouse sent her. I explained to her that I am not a customer of their tire warehouse, I am a customer of Morgan's tire service. Unfortunately that did not persuade her to take any action on my behalf. I am very dissatisfied with Morgan's. So beware if you get "new" tires from Morgan's. Tell them ahead of time that if they cannot get recently made tires then you don't want them (or at least discount the price). As for me I will never use Morgan's again, and I will attempt to dispute the charges with my credit card company. read more

There was no problems with the fuel filter replacement bot somebody stole t j e tow cover off her car which is a 85.00 part and cost even more because now ihave to have it painted to match the car. So I called tire shops around me to see if they can accommodate me and the receptionist overhears me and all of a sudden my car was up next!! What a surprise?? The guys on the desk and on the line were the best when I need an emergency tire repair. Two days before Christmas I took my loose, sick tire to Morgan's. I was in and out in about 20 minutes, and the charge was really reasonable. They told me what to watch for in case the repair failed, which it might since I'd picked up a 2-inch metal staple. We'll definitely use Morgan's again and would gladly recommend them. The front brakes on my '99 Mercury got hung up on my way home. We just moved to Burlington, and I didn't have a lot of time to search for a new mechanic (I figured we look around when one of us needed our next oil change). Since I needed to get my car drivable again, fast, we took a chance on Morgan's. I was a little worried about the mixed reviews I found online, but everyone local either had bad reviews, mixed reviews, or none at all. Since they were close and had some (recent) good reviews, we went with them. No regrets. They did what I needed, at a very reasonable price and their customer service was truly above and beyond. I got new front brake calipers and hoses, pads, and they resurfaced both the front rotors. The brakes feel great and seem to be working as they are supposed to (I'll update my review if that changes, but they also warranty their work for 12 months, like any good mechanic should). While I don't expect discount pricing on the parts, most prices were reasonable for a garage except I thought the hose prices were a bit lofty. The labor rate was very fair, and the price on the brake hoses is my only "complaint" at this point. 4.5 stars rounds up to 5. This wasn't the way I would usually choose a mechanic, but at least now we know where we'll for need oil changes or other work in future. read more
