LOVE this spot! My best friend and I were looking for a good spot because our normal place couldn't get us in. We found Majestic nails and decided to take a chance. We had a LOVELY experience. From the moment we walked in (no appointment) we were greeted with a friendly front desk lady, and a bright, clean, relaxing atmosphere. Both of us had dip manicures and tried out their signature Christmas pedicure and oh my goodness!!!! Was a luxurious experience!!! Chairs are comfy, everyone is kind, bright and cheery atmosphere. I have been going to majestic nails for almost 6 years now and every single time the staff are always welcoming and so sweet. Not only that, their work is amazing! This particular day, I brought my mom to treat her for her birthday with a group of our friends and when we arrived they surprised us with birthday balloons, cookies and drinks. They were so sweet. Under new ownership. Not personable or accommodating. I had a pedicure with gel and nail dipping. Both nail tech were very rough, it was not a relaxing experience. I received a pretty big abrasion on my toe from a nail file. They used to be great about following TDLR guidelines. Now it's a rush to get you in and out. I'm kind and always tip $20. I have moved pretty far away from their location and I've tried to find other salons that are closer to my home but nothing compares to this place. Excellent experience start to finish at Majestic -- I called and made an appointment and they were ready for me -- I did Shellac manicure with soak off and regular pedicure plus lip wax and was done in an hour with all 3 services. While you relax and get toes done another technician does your manicure -- you save time and yet they do not skimp in any aspect -- very thorough and they take their time with the leg massage and include a hot towel which is so calming. Salon is very clean and they offer you a drink and ensure you are comfortable the entire time. It's a classy clientele with a warm-hearted staff who make it fun. I was relaxed and pampered. The wax room is very pretty and discreet and also very clean. Cost is comparable with FM and HV -- what a great find at Lakeside! I will be back in 2 weeks! read more

My mani/pedi fell apart after a week...2 broken nails (one was fixed with the WRONG COLOR and cut into the quick). The other nail broke 3 days later. (dipping powder) 4 toenails have polish peeling off. I called and asked ALEA, the manager, for a new mani/pedi. She immediately began yelling at me for "not being nice" and told me, "God will look down on you for this!" Then she hung up on me!!! I called back...SAME BEHAVIOR. This is the ridiculous service you get for $85??? Will NOT be back. Sadly...because everyone had been so nice until the manager flipped out. I got an infection from this salon! I tried to call to speak to someone & got hung up on twice. The older lady that did my nails dug her nasty thumbnail into my pointer finger. It hurt and I pulled my hand away, the next day it started swelling and now third day I'm seriously worried for my finger . Went I into the salon for the first time with high hopes unfortunately left extremely disappointed with multiple fingers bleeding and a gel manicure that chipped within a couple days. Had a rough start here as I had an appointment at 4pm. They offered me to sit at the massage chair while I picked out my color. I waited until 4:15 (mind you multiple people walked in after me and were sat and already soaking their feet) I went up to the front desk to see if they would begin the service soon and even offered to come back another time. They began shortly after, no biggie! Here's where the problem was and why I will never return: 1. the gal doing the pedicure gave no pressure on the massage and I had to ask her to please scrub my feet with pumice as she just skipped over this step! 2. The lady doing my gel manicure cut 4 of my fingers and I was bleeding the whole time not to mention for remainder of the day. 3. The gel chipped 2 days later. Note: I paid $95 for a deluxe gel mani and pedi. I feel it's a bit higher than normal but I would gladly pay that if the price was reflected in the service sadly it was not. This is the Chick-Fil-A of nail salons, the customer service and hospitality is hard to beat. Wouldn't recommend a pedicure at any other place in the area. They take their time and take pride in their work. No favorites, all employees are great! Majestic never fails to leave you feeling refreshed, relaxed, and with bomb nails/toes! I brought my baby girl and 4 of her girlfriends here to get their nails done for her birthday and the staff here at Majestic did such An amazing job! They were extremely patient which is a lot when there are 5 six and seven year olds giggling and constantly moving around! They gave the girls slushees while they got their nails done which made the experience even better. They all were treated like the princesses that they are. I've been going to Majestic for many years. I've had a good experience everytime I've been there. Deanne does my nails-I LOVE her! She is very detail oriented. Kathy, Taylor and Sophia are great with pedicures. The staff is super friendly and they all do an excellent job. When I bring my elderly mother in, Lea does a great job cutting her hair, and the rest of the staff takes such good care of her! You won't disappointed! read more

Stay away from this place. They have some decent nail technicians, but the owner has ZERO sense of customer service. I got BURNED badly on my eyelids from getting eyebrow wax the last time I went there. I went back the next day to demand a refund. The owner brushed it off by saying it's not that serious. What do you mean it's not serious when your face got burned?!! It was so painful and it took almost 2 weeks for the scars to heal. What's more ridiculous was when I asked for a discount for my services that day (which were just the wax and regular pedi) because how horrifying the experience was, the owner started verbally attacking me in front of staff and other customers. It's one thing if you couldn't accommodate a customer's request. It's another thing to try to humiliate a paying customer who got injured at your salon! They clearly don't value customer experience and lack basic respect and business etiquette. Needless to say I will never go back. Spend your money somewhere else. read more

I went back and received five-star service and my pedicure still looks good after 3 days (see new picture). I will also add that my dip manicure was well done. Original post: Super disappointed. I got my nails done on Saturday, March 31 and paid for the top-of-the-line pedicure since we were leaving for a trip on Monday. The toe nail polish used must have been old because a bunch of it came off several hours later (see photo uploaded) and since the place was closed on Sunday for Easter I couldn't go back to get them fixed. On Sunday (the next day) I realized polish had chipped off other toes already as well! I'm very upset considering this is not what should happen when you pay $60+ for a pedicure. One star! read more

Definitely felt like they were rushing throughout the entire service, and did not take the time to make sure the gel polish was actually on the nail. I wouldn't try to add anything on, because everything is an extra charge including barely shaping the nail. I'm currently fixing the botch job at home, which is not something you want to do after paying $130 for two gel manicures. My nails hurt from where the gel is stuck to my skin.
