The BEFORE and AFTER pictures below show the quality of work that Maj Lawncare put into my large scale perimeter landscaping project. I've also used them for weekly lawncare and another project in the back of my house. Happy with all of it. They are good, hard working people, and I recommend them without hesitation. Thank you Maj family and team. read more

Very reliable lawn care. They are always on time and their work was quick and thorough. I will have them back again next season. Thank you Maj Lawncare!!! read more

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience. I really wanted to have beautiful lawn but it was destroyed by maj lawncare and their mowing. The mowers hacked into the lawn leaving uneven spaces, dead roots, holes in the lawn. Lawn didn't recover. The mowers kept cutting my lawn despite my concerns. I am so afraid they would destroy more of it. Our lawn is a pitiful mess and heart breaking. I recommend making sure you know who is mowing the lawn--is it someone who cares and knows about grass or just someone hired. read more

Maj rocks. The crew is professional, friendly and responsive. It's a local family business, exactly what's most important for me to support. Their lawn care and snow removal services are top notch. I have recommended them to neighbors who are also happy with their work. read more

I will update these photos for higher quality ones when spring comes around, but I really wanted to say that Mason and everyone at Maj Lawncare are not just WONDERFUL at keeping our home looking great all year long - but they were able to take on a HUGE project and COMPLETELY TRANSFORMED our outdated landscaping to something just beautiful. We were planning on having the house trim repainted in conjunction with pulling out almost all of the plants and putting in entirely new landscaping, so it was tricky having the painters and landscapers work around each other and work out the best times for each to do their part - but Mason made it HAPPEN! If you see the original photos of our house, it had plants literally from the 1950's that were kind of swallowing up the house. The three bushes in front of the house were so overgrown that they extended out halfway across the sidewalk, and the plants on the side of the house were just wild and blocking all of the windows. Mason worked with me TOGETHER on every single step - from choosing plants and trees that I liked, to placement, and even leaving one of the old trees at the back of the house for my husband, because there was an entire ecosystem of birds and squirrels who relied on it, and he loves seeing them out of his office window every day. Mason was SO WONDERFUL to work with! It was a huge, daunting task, but he was there every single step of the way. And now he makes sure that his team keeps everything looking great every week. I can't say enough about how wonderful Mason has been to work with, and you can see that the transformation of our house has been HUGE. Highly, highly recommend! read more

They did a phenomenal job on our fall cleanup. Everything is edged beautifully, hedges and bushed sculpted, perennials trimmed back for spring, and all waste gone. Best part is it's after our large tree lost it's leaves, so should look great for the foreseeable future. Thanks again. read more

Mason and his crew came to clean up my back yard from tons of weeds, and also removed plants and flowers that I no longer wanted there - this to make room for a native plant garden that will be coming. They did a great job. The only negative is, that they put some of my planters in the alley, which of course in the city means only one thing: planters disappeared in no time. Mason is a great communicator. I am happy to recommend this company! read more

So thankful and appreciative of these guys! They were power raking the neighbors yard, answered my questions about the process, quoted me on the spot, and did our yard in no time! Look forward to working with them on other projects in the future! read more

Great customer service and a strong work ethic. Will definitely hire them for our next landscaping need.

Extremely good work, easy to work with, very professional and responsive! I've been using Maj Lawncare for the last 3 years and couldn't be happier. I went through several other companies prior to Maj and they couldn't deliver the service I was looking for. We use them for lawn care as well as snow removal. Mason is incredible to work with: responsive, professional, affordable and provides extremely high quality work. Can't recommend them enough! read more

We hired Maj for a few landscaping projects and they did an amazing job! They removed the grass from our backyard and created a crushed stone and flagstone patio. They removed the grass and stubborn tree suckers from our parkway and prepared it for future planting. Overall, they pruned, trimmed and mulched all our existing landscaping and made it look fabulous. Taylor and Mason and their team were very easy to work with. They have great ideas and a good eye for details. We will definitely work with them again! read more

Maj was neither the most expensive nor cheapest, but they agreed to incl trimming, so we hired them. We would, without a doubt, hire again. They were recommended on next door. A company of its word. Great clean up, trimming and mulch. Took away all waste and left me the best looking 2 lots on the block. Hire them, you will be happy with the resulted. S duffy/bucktown read more

Maj Lawncare to the rescue! This crew turned our landscaping from an eyesore to a thing of beauty. Our building had hired a different vendor to remove our sparse grass, build boxing, do brickwork, add soil and plant. It took those who shall not be named about three weeks to remove the grass and start boxing in the area so that soil could be added above the sidewalk level. The brick was not the brick we specified (and they bid), the boxes were badly done, and they brought in demolition dirt (seriously, broken bricks and pipes were visible) for planting. Then nothing. Enter Taylor, Mason, and their crew. They efficiently removed the bad work, bad dirt, wrong bricks and got to work. If our instructions were unclear or an issue arose, they communicated it. They dug, they tilled, they tiled, and they toiled. They were professional, worked hard, and were really really nice people. Hire them. read more

They exceeded my expectations in every way possible, so much so that I asked them to do weekly maintenance for my two properties. Mason and Taylor had great recommendations and were very careful with all my shrubs and lights. They took care of everything for me and I wish I knew about them earlier. After seeing their work I fired the company I used that was a nightmare and am excited to continue using Maj. Their prices are phenomenal too. I highly recommend them for any and every landscaping need. My neighbor was so impressed with them she too is hiring them! Great group of people and very professional and knowledge and hard working! read more

I very much agree with the first review. I was so happy to find Maj Lawncare thru our neighborhood website, and from seeing their truck in the neigh. Taylor and Mason REALLY came thru for us with their young and hard working team - they weeded our whole badly needed front yard, patio and around the alley. They also planted beautiful ornamental grass on the side of our house, and planted gorgeous plants in our four planter boxes in our patio. We have been lax for a few years, and they have made everything beautiful and blooming! Now it is up to us to keep it up! But we are still teaming up this summer, and hopefully we can retain them for much more work in 2020! Thanks so much to Taylor, Mason and your team!! read more
