Great team! They did an excellent job, and even went above and beyond. Most importantly, they left everything clean when they were finished. They worked for about four hours at a very fair price. They clearly knew the difference between the various types of plants, what needed to be removed and what should stay. I originally called them for a one-time treatment, but now I'm already looking into ongoing maintenance. Highly recommended! read more

Last year we used him to trim a tree. We then eeded help last month with our front lawn. He gave a very fair price to put peat moss and grass seed down. read more

I have worked with Moritz and his crew of wonderful workers for a number of years now. They take care of my garden and perimeter - have moved plants in and out of my house - and are very customer-oriented. They are careful and hard-working and reliable. Moritz is easy to work with - and I have never been disappointed. Fair prices, responsible , and pleasant to do business with. Highly recommend. read more

Very happy experience working with Moritz Welt and team (led by Sviat). After contacting them directly via Yelp, I quickly arranged for them to stop by for estimate. We were interested in complete overhaul of front yard (change of topsoil, planting grass from scratch, creating a bed against the house for planting). Received estimate within hours - with fair pricing. Team came a few days later and skillfully/carefully completed the work. Fast forward four-and-a-half weeks - and our little desert is now a lush, green lawn. Very happy with the outcome, the process and would recommend these guys for other projects. read more

Any and all landscaping needs-- contact Moritz Welt. I had a huge oversized lot with front and backyard maintenance required for upkeep. Moritz' team is extremely professional and their work is amazing. They can help with just about anything. I had a significant amount of limbs and broken branches, in addition to needing regular maintenance. Moritz' pricing is SO REASONABLE. He's upfront about costs, and they absolutely deliver. Any time I have contact him he has responded the same day if not immediately. read more

We are a small, 6-unit condo with minimal landscape maintenance and snow removal needs so it can be hard to find contractors who will accept smaller jobs. We are grateful for Moritz and his team's work taking care of our property year-round. His hardworking crew has even painted railings, reset brick sidewalks and made minor repairs at a very reasonable price with excellent quality. Moritz always answers my text messages and gets his crew on the job in a timely manner. read more

This is not a "landscaper" business by any stretch. They are not qualified to be called landscaper and as a consumer you need to go in eyes wide open. I hired Moritz to simply do yard clean up. I instructed him to be VERY careful with my existing plants, and I further instructed him to not touch or trim anything as I would do that myself. Clearly, listening and then following said specific instructions, didn't come with the territory. When inadequate clean up was done initially, Moritz proceeded to come in himself and blast my plants with a blower. Years old Tree peony were severely damaged. A Newly planted lilac splintered. And, hostas no match. Not only that, he severely cut back a grape vine, as well as two other plants that he had been instructed to simply NOT TOUCH. Upon my request, Moritz did meet with me. He also flat out acknowledged his butchering ways with a shrug and a, "you're right,", and then proceed to tell me HE WOULDN'T CHARGE ME for such "work"! Moritz then QUIT because he said he needed to focus on more profitable accounts. To say I am unhappy is an understatement. Irreparable damage by a company is what happened. Then, the proposed remedy was to "not charge" me for $200 worth of "work," which by the looks of the pictures was beyond sub standard in the first place, and ultimately worth a lot more than $200! That is not ok, and that is not good business. Buyer beware. read more

I would highly recommend this company. Moritz quickly responded and was thorough with his quote and clear of what my expectations were so there wouldn't be a misunderstanding. He said what he can and cannot do. I like that he did his best to make sure we were all on the same page. His worker, Alex came to assess the area and came back to do the job within a few weeks. As this is busy time, they were still able to accommodate. The prices were reasonable and fair. They are great for spring cleaning your yards and maintenance. Thank you!! read more

Moritz and his team a great. Quick turnaround from quote to service. Fair price, great work!

Do NOT hire. They have no idea what they are doing. Welt's drastic cutting of the shrubs along the fence has undone years of careful maintenance and growth. These shrubs had matured and provided a pleasant atmosphere for residents who enjoy sitting outside. Despite my repeated requests for the shrubs to remain intact and not to be cut down, they were severely cut back for no clear reason, leaving gaps and poorly shaped plants. And the front yard used to have grass and slowly has become just dirt. Using grass seed on bare dirt without sufficient watering has worsened the situation, creating more dirt patches and uneven ground. They also service another condo up the street and they are just a mud pit now. See photo. read more

This was our second time using Mortiz's company. The first time was to remove tons of vines from our home and the second was to removed vines from our detached garage. We've been very pleased both times. The company workers did an excellent job both times. Moritz always responds quickly and the work is done in a timely manner. In this second instance, I contacted Moritz yesterday, he sent out a worker for an estimate today, and the worker offered to also complete the job today. 1 hour later, the whole project is done! Thank you Moritz and team! read more

I reached out to Moritz to schedule a time for him to come by and take a look at my lawn. We set a day and a time. He and I even confirmed the day of, just a few hours prior to him coming out. Not only did he never bother to show up, he never even showed me the least bit of courtesy to let me know. Never sent a follow up. Never tried to reschedule. Never showed any bit of customer service whatsoever. Now, I fully understand if one gets busy. But ghosting a customer and never even bothering to simply give a courtesy heads up that you need to reschedule is simply rude. And if he's this way about his customers now, how will he be once work on the yard begins?? read more

Reliable and great work. Mr. Welt was responsive and timely. Crew came and were diligent and did a great job! Thank you!!

I called several landscapers and Moritz was the only person who picked up my call. He had his guys out the next day to take a look at my grass and provide a quote. I originally thought I would need to resod my entire lawn- a project that would cost me thousands, Moritz told me to save my money and he could plant new seed to help the grass grow. He also recommend a brick boarder to help the overall look of the yard? Both look great and both was very affordable. Moritz always picked up my calls and you can tell he is very knowledgeable and generally cares about providing good affordable service. His workers were there the next day and did the entire project into the wee hours of the night to get complete. I will definitely be coming back to Moritz and his team when I need my front yard redone. read more

I was looking for someone to take care of my backyard. The grass overthere grows not even, lawn has lots of empty soil spots. Few guys I talked with gave me unreasonably high prices . The services I tried before always were late and created me so much troubles in the past. I am working hard almost the whole week, and the only time I am at home is dinner time. So for me it is very important to deal with professional guys. I set up my appointment before 10 am, cause at 12 should be at Uptown. Moritz's workers Denis and Vlad arrived on time, walked me through the process, answered all my questions. And when I came home most of the issues were resolved. It is a big pleasure dealing with professionals that can save your time, money and good mood. Thanks guys. read more

In modern times it's difficult to find a company or in this case a business owner who will go out of their way and do the right thing. I'm truly thankful to have run a across Mortiz. He responded almost immediately on Yelp. While not being a previous customer, Mortiz went out of his way to accommodate myself and also had excellent recommendations prior to work being started. Mortiz, I know I'm a little late with this review. Thank you again for your great recommendations and also amazing customer service! The next time I need work done, this will be the first company I call to do work! Thank you! read more

Very happy with Moritz and his team. After getting the run around from a few other landscapers I happened upon Moritz and reached out. He had his crew out the same day to look at our yard (5 unit condo building) and then provided an estimate the next day. I needed an overall clean-up, trimming of plants and a complete re-mulch. I contacted Moritz on yelp for de-weeding my yard at 9pm and he responded in few minutes. At 9:05pm I called him and he sent out the crew the next day at a time convenient to me.
