I don't usually post my high end purchases on social media, but I'm going to make an exception this time because the service that I received was beyond exemplary. Steven Nguyen was the client advisor that helped me. I told him that I was there to get my bag repaired as the print was rubbing off. He asked me how long I had the bag and I replied that I had it a little over a year. He got my info and pulled up my account on his iPad. He had to take the bag into the back to do an ink test. I guess that meant an authenticity test? Everything checked out. I turned in my old bag. He had me fill out a few forms and said that a new bag would be sent to me in about two weeks, since I only had the bag a little over a year. I was in and out of the store within 15 minutes. There are only six Goyard stores in the US, which makes it hard to take your bag into the store to get it looked at. I really wasn't sure what kind of response I was going to get or if they would stand behind their product. I was a little nervous walking into the store. Steven was so professional and totally calmed my nerves. Sure enough I received my new bag yesterday, a little under the two weeks that he said. It was packed immaculately. They even sent a dust bag and paper bag, so it was the whole set. I really appreciate that. I wasn't sure if I was going to purchase any more Goyard items after that defect with the bag. However, since they stand behind the products I will be purchasing more in the future. read more

Horrible experience with trying to return a flawed item. The item (Wallet) was purchased July 7th from salesman George Carros (who was actually very helpful during the purchase). The wallet was given to me in a box and I later when I got home found a small flaw that caught my attention. I decided that after having spent $1000 on a wallet that there shouldn't be any flaw (regardless of size) and decided to bring it to the store. I contact George and sent pictures of the wallet, he left me on read and didn't reply to my texts for over a month. Finally I called him and he told me to bring the wallet into the store ( this was hard as I didn't live near the physical store location) When I brought it into the store during a visit to Dallas in November, I was told that it would be sent to New York and I should get it back fixed 8-10 weeks later. We are now approaching March and I still have not received my item or have gotten any updates. I called the store many times and left voice messages and never got a call back. When I finally addressed the manager about this, he mentioned they don't receive voice messages, that they are re routed. As someone who has referred clients to this store in the past I can confidently say that I will no longer shop here or refer future clients. I was not thrilled with them not exchanging the flawed item or giving me store credit / allowing me to return the item. But now 12 weeks later I feel it's the minimum they can do after their 10 week period has passed and I have still not received my item. I recommend for everyone to check their items individually and not accepting a closed bag that comes from the back of the store. read more

Let's start by clarifying that I decide the value of everything, and those wise enough to listen - benefit from my accuracy. Is that pretentious enough for you? I fly to Chicago for a few hours just to taste slice of pizza. On a whim, I hop on a whale-watching tour in California, just because I am craving seafood for lunch and want to see where the meal originated. And I do it all in old ragedy tee shirts and jogging pants. Why? Because I work and earn the right to do whatever I want. My wife collects SLG's like they are keychains, so of course, I find myself at the sales counters of these lux stores OFTEN. 99% of the time, the sales team can tell that we are the clients you really need - but this time, in Goyard, they dropped the ball. I am trying to figure out if the staff has a clue of who the true demographic of their brand truly is. The sales person, who had this weird attitude, offered us a product that clearly looked like a returned item and then offered me a sheet of paper to fill out if we wanted to order a different item to be delivered to our home at some random date in the future. My wife won't even want this color next week! TO BE CLEAR, THIS MAY BE THE STORE'S POLICY, but you are talking to a guy who will fly to one of your other 5 stores and get it myself, before I wil stop and handwrite some information for you while leaning on a lux store countertop. Basic selection and inventory. What surprised me most about this location was the staff. Full spectrum of sophisticated to careless. When... 1. I wait in line to spend money. Simple pleasantries. Maybe a greeting/smile? I wish the security guard was my sales rep. Security is friendly, helpful. 2. Sales associates? Maybe this is not a great job? Maybe they are not paid well? The quality of Sales associate was quite sloppy. Appearance and hygiene. Breath mints needed. 3. I could have bought a bag. I didn't. When spending 3K I want to feel good about the experience. BUYERS BEWARE! I received a beautiful Goyard wallet as part of my wedding gift and after 2 months the edging started falling apart. The store sent it back to New York for repairs and it didn't come back looking the same. After a year and a half the wallets edging started falling apart again and the store said to send it back to New York but I would had to pay for repairs. I felt backed in a corner, and had no choice but to either loose out on my $900 wallet (wedding gift) or pay for the repairs. I will never buy Goyard again because of this store and they way this company cheats people out of their money. Why is a $900 simple men's wallet falling apart after 2 months? (I am not rough on my wallets and I still own the last 3 Gucci wallets I have purchased and they are not falling apart). The manager said even though this is the second repair for the same problem, Goyard will not cover the cost of repairs and there will be no refunds or exchanges. I absolutely don't mind spending money on quality goods that last but I will never again waste money on Goyard. Although this is a beautiful store and they have appealing bags, buyers beware. I feel like they gave me a wallet from the back of a trunk in a New York back ally. I would also like to point out I am a frequent Highland Park shopper and their are many other stores in HPV with nicer goods, better quality, and friendlier customers service. I almost did not try to find this location. For the first time I almost gave into the reviews that were here on yelp. I really did not think I would be successful in this shopping trip at all. I really hate having to go to this shopping center. I like the stores and I frequent them when I'm out of the Dallas area but I find this particular area to be more snooty than other places. A lot of times they don't really make you feel too welcomed in many of the shops here. However, it's Christmas, so I'm thinking that the sales people in all the stores have their grind on so that they can get their Christmas gifts and turkeys along with their peppermint candy canes before the end of the year. So they have to be on their hustle, so that can make you a bit friendlier. I did wonder based on some of the reviews if I would have to wait in a line or if I would be able to walk in. I got there just before noon and I started to panic because you know parking is horrible in the shopping center as well. I found a parking spot and luckily enough it was just a few stores down from Goyard, so I walk up and I see no one in the store. I grabbed the handle to the door and it doesn't open. So I look up and look in... I still don't see anyone. So then I'm thinking this is not exactly the hustle and bustle of Gucci or Louis Vuitton so maybe The one person who works here went to lunch? So in the back of my mind based on other reviews, people said they called and no one answered the phone at these different locations so I wasn't expecting too much. I called the number and it seemed like somebody's personal cell phone. I got a voicemail and it did some sort of Nextel thing like it was going to try to find somebody for you, but they said leave a message. So I said let me walk down the mall to a couple other stores and then I'll circle back and try not to look stupid by stalking the place. But before I did that, I decided to just call again. To my surprise, this time they answered. They probably screened my call the time before. I got a sales person who said that they do not answer the door when they are with clients or busy. However, they were open, and I am welcome to queue up outside until one of the sales people are free. Now I still think they were at lunch because there was no one in the front of the store and I didn't see any customers around back. Possibly they have something in the back but it didn't appear that they did once I finally got in. I know that they had gotten something from Uber eats and They were quickly trying to eat something because then nobody was really there anyway...So they came out, and at that point 5 ladies had walked up and they were already in. So I proceeded to make some phone calls while as the first person in line trying not to seem irritated that I'm having to queue up in a line. It's good for them, It wasn't 40° outside. Around five minutes later a sales person opened the door for me and invited me in. He was actually very nice and very helpful. I told him that I was there to buy a specific bag but I wanted to take a look at other things to see if there's something I might like better. He encouraged me to look around the store, and he proceeded to go check to see if they had the bag in stock that I was trying to get because it wasn't displayed. I proceeded to look around. There was no person looking at me crazy or being snooty following me. There were a lot of other women with the one sales person shopping I think for Christmas but it wasn't bad. My sales person came back and he had the bag that I was looking for in Green. I was so excited. He put them together for me and had me try them on. I was in love. With the bag... He also offered me water or something to drink and that was very kind as well. I proceeded to buy a couple of things, and I really enjoyed my experience in the store. It wasn't what I thought it was going to be given the reviews. Also, I think the reviews didn't really talk about the store so much. Some of them talked about the quality of the brand and I'm not ready to go there when I review on yelp. I think the review should be about your experience when you're at the store. They said that you also can order over the phone. They have some rules with that but that is promising given that they're only a few stores in the United States. Also, there was talk that Europe doesn't have all the inventory that a lot of the stores in United States have because it's so popular there. So this is my first purchase at Goyard and I will go back probably next week. I am quite in love with the pattern and the colors. I am ready to branch out from LVMH, Chanel etc. to see what other French designers are out there. I absolutely love my purchase and again I will be calling my sales guy soon! read more

4 employees standing around and not one even offered a greeting when I entered the store. My Saint Louis GM has a tear in the fabric after very little use. I returned to the Dallas store and expected some sort of resolution covering poor craftsmanship. I was sorely disappointed when Adrian Arenas told me that they do not warranty their products or stand behind the craftsmanship and there was nothing he could do. He left me standing (no other customers in the store) for far too long when I asked for customer service contact information. He refused to exchange the bag and said that the repair fee would cost as much as a new bag. SAVE YOUR MONEY and don't bother with this brand or this location. As a comparison, Louis Vuitton stands behind their products and offers cost free repairs or replacements. read more

HORRIBLE customer service. Just visited after reopening and I read everything on the door - no mention of guests wearing masks - it just says keep your distance. I step in and she immediately demands I put on a mask - no one else in the store. She lays out the bags and goes to look for another one and I am "trying it on" - had it on my shoulder - and she is like "we don't try on bags." I took it that you don't put them on you shoulder, so I picked up the next one and held it in front of me and she repeated it again. Like seriously lady? If you are going to have rules - STATE THEM UPFRONT IN DETAIL - do NOT tell me after the fact. (and she knew it was my first time there) I just walked out - I was shaking I was so upset. I have NEVER experienced such nonsense at Chanel or Hermès or even the incredibly rude Louis Vuitton associates here in Dallas. I am a regular at Chanel and they have NEVER made me feel uncomfortable. And it is disappointing - I have wanted to buy a Goyard forever and has been waiting for them to open. Bought a large limited edition tote for a 30th anniversary gift. My wife Discovered a prominent defect in the canvas upon opening the gift. Dallas store would do nothing to help and simply said send it to New York. They promptly wanted to charge me for repair of their faulty tote. I paid full price and was sold a defective purse. A couple of days ago I visited Goyard, Highland Park Village, Dallas, TX and I was pleasantly surprised and happy with my experience. Upon arrival and stepping through the front door, I was warmly greeted by security. Quickly, I was then genuinely greeted by Faith who upon sharing my product goal with her she began to show me options available. Adrian worked closely with her to help give me the personal experience necessary at a high end boutique such a Goyard. Whereas the previous reviews may NOT have been as favorable, I would suggest to the consumer to keep in mind that if you want a "personal customer connection", the time of the day as well as the day of the week determines how quickly you walk in the door to receive your "one on one" connection. The snottiest people I have dealt with in a long time. Their favorite word is "unfortunately...". I bought a bag less then two years ago and paid $400 to have it monogrammed. The monogram is peeling at all corners and also has chips/holes in the paint. I was told that this was "normal wear and tear and what makes the bag beautiful. People can tell its been loved." We called the store for an appointment (due to Covid). It was a last minute decision. The woman who answered was extremely friendly & professional. She met us at the door & took a lot of time to show me many bags. Made several great suggestions. Answered ALL our questions, even about 20 from my husband. I was excited to see this shop when I was visiting Dallas. But, I was left feeling ignored and not respected. The door was locked on a sunny afternoon with customers inside shopping on a Tuesday. I decided to return as maybe it's locked because they're not accepting more customers at the time since I've seen some stores in other cities limit the number of people inside. I came back and saw less customers inside, but the door was locked again. The lady near the door did not acknowledge me. I waited a little while until she turned my way and I pointed to the door. I could not make out what she was saying, but she was clearly not walking up closer to the door to either clarify about how to shop or open the door. Other shops in this area have a sign if to shop is by appointment only. Terrible service here and lack of communication. I ended up leaving and not bothering to inquire more about how to enter the shop. Why shop in a place that does not want you to shop... Take your business elsewhere, they ignore customers here just like other reviews have mentioned. read more

I went into this store fully intending to purchase a tote. However, the saleswoman quickly made it to where I will NEVER purchase from this company. The snobbiest, most dismissive individual I have encountered, which is particularly discouraging when preparing to drop 4K on a bag. Given I can find the same quality of tote at any store in Highland Park, and likely encounter nicer, salesmen who even show a sliver of interest in clients elsewhere, I will never EVER give my money to the Goyard franchise there. I went to Goyard to purchase the Senat Pochette for my boss. After arriving at the boutique, I waited for 20 minutes before a sales associate acknowledged my presence (keep in mind there was was only one other customer in the room). After doing so, she quickly rung up my desired purchase without offering me something to drink or divulging the history of the item (which is very standard for a luxury brand). During the tail end of the transaction, the sales associate noticed that my business card did match the name on my DL. She informed me that Goyard policy does not permit these types of sales. Understandingly, I asked if there was a ATM in Highland Park Village, and if so, did I have her permission to withdraw the cash equivalent of the purchase. She said she was comfortable with this, and that an ATM was located next to the movie theatre. I spent 10 minutes searching before stepping out of the theatre and into Carolina Herrena to ask for further directions. The lovely SA informed me that the ATM was actually located at Royal Blue, a grocery store on the opposite side of the village. I walked all the way to Royal Blue, inserted the card, entered my pin, and clicked "withdraw" only to find out the machine cashes a maximum of $200. Defeated, I returned to Goyard to inform my associate of the experience, and see if there were any other options I could pursue. When I arrived, I was told she was in the back room but would be right out to see me. Exactly 15 minutes later, she came out, and said the only other option was to put the item on hold. I agreed, but soon after I left realized she did not bother to ask for my contact information. The bottom line of this review: I have never experienced such unwillingness from a brand to satisfy and help its consumer. I am so disappointed and disgusted by the treatment I received at Goyard that I will never be returning. This includes, but is not limited to the locations in Dallas, BH, NY, and even Paris.
