There's a nice outdoor space and even though the restaurant is located along a busy road, once inside, it's completely relaxed & open. I like way they designed the main space. Both inside as well as the outdoor space. The outdoor lighting imparts an uplifting yet relaxing mood. Finally, even the bathrooms were well planned (they included a small sink within one of the bathroom stalls, although towels to dry your hands were gone by the time I made it there). The bathroom has nice relaxing lighting too, several stalls and plenty of space. That's an important feature - some of the local restaurants only have one bathroom or the stalls are very small and close together. Blu mar's are spacious & classy. Once we were seated at our table, we net our incredible waitress, I believe her name was Amelia. She was beyond helpful in letting me know exactly what I could eat and truly went above and beyond. We got the mezze platter with a crudite (the pita isn't vegan). I ordered a yummy vegan pasta and they even brought out a vegan sorbet with a bday candle. My non-vegan friends all loved their food as well! She was so kind and even gave us tips on where to go out for my birthday after dinner. I started with the fondue for one which was tasty and fun but I would have preferred if it also came with cornichons and that the potatoes weren't fried (it was really heavy and oily with cheese and fried potatoes). Drinks were pretty weak for $26, and the bartender actually forgot to add champagne to one of our French 75s, lol. He did remedy it, though. We split the ice cream sandwich for dessert which was a little strange but tasty. All in all the food was very flavorful but at the price point I probably wouldn't come back. I was still hungry afterwards. Ribeye 4/5 The drinks are pricy but WORTH IT!!! The Garden Reverie and Summer Terrace were very good. The Summer Terrace was something special.
