Vegetarian review!
My experience: I went on a Wednesday afternoon and the restaurant was fairly empty.
Service: 5/5
Friendly and helpful staff, immediately provided with water, tap or sparkling. I chose tap and was provided a refillable bottle of tap water and a glass, whenever I finished the bottle, it was quickly replaced
Drinks: 5/5
I drank the vodka with elderflower tonic, it was well balanced and garnished with cucumber. Nice selection of other happy hour drinks
Appetizer: 5/5
My appetizer: HUMMUS, served with a peanut curry pesto, and warm flatbread and a lemon. The humus itself was well salted and seasoned, but the the pesto over the top was a star, it was especially well spiced and the nuts gave such a lovely contrast, I didn't think it needed it, but once I squeezed the lemon onto the hummus it elevated it beyond belief
Good time difference between appetizer order and entree order, enough to enjoy the appetizer while not making me feel rushed nor too much time that I got impatient.
Main: 2/5
my main course: IMPOSSIBLY™ DIRTY BAB.
Good use of micro greens to zhuzh up an otherwise underwhelming dish. A lot of conflicting and unbalanced flavors on the wrap that was difficult to eat. Very disappointing to see the impossible meat get drowned out by pickle flavors, that themselves were not balanced, and fries/chips (on the wrap) that, due to all of the other wet ingredients in the wrap, quickly became soggy.
I was disappointed with this dish, it needs a serious rethinking, and once they work on improving their main course, this restaurant an have earn 5 stars. read more
