What a taste sensation! I ordered the Basil Fried Rice and a Stuffed Wing. I gave it 4 stars only because I felt that 2.50 for one smallish chicken wings is a tad pricey. The wing was really outstanding. The skin was crispy and had a grilled flavor. The stuffing was very good, I thought the cellophane noodles complemented the vegetables perfectly. The Basil Fried Rice was excellent. The fresh basil and the flavors in the rice made the dish distinctive. I will for sure be back. read more

This is my fave local Thai place! I like it spicy and they are the only place I've found locally that can deliver the spice level I ask for. (They also do very flavorful mild dishes if that's what you're looking for.) I have yet to have a bad dish there. I've came here a couple time with my sisters for lunch. The people that own this place are really nice. There have been times that I have gone here, i've had to wait a long period of time for my food. So service can be a little bit slow at times, even if their not busy. (My experiences) The food itself is very good. The portions are a nice size as well. My sister ordered these noodle type item off the menu once and really wished they served rice with it. I mean asians eat rice with everything! Lol. The place is a little small but I don't mind because I now just usually get my food to go. But if you're planning to eat in and its busy, you might have to wait awhile. (Only sometimes) Overall, nice friendly people and good food. read more

Excellent small Vietnamese establishment. All the focus is on the food and service. We had to wait a short time for a table as the place was full nearly the entire duration of our visit. We both order the Pho regular. My counterpart ordered one of the stuffed chicken wings and was blown away. I opted for the homemade pork eggrolls which were delicious and such a deal for $1 each. The pho was excellent. You could tell the broth was done right. I prefer thinner sliced rare beef versus the thicker cut brisket-style used here, but this more of a personal preference. The cuts of meat were well trimmed with very little grizzle to deal with. Portions were great especially for the price. The service was great from ordering at the counter to the prompt delivery of drinks/utensils and our food from the very friendly staff who were moving non-stop. The ambiance could be improved, as half the lights were out and we dined in the evening, but the aroma from the kitchen more than made up for it. I will certainly be back in the future. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a solid bowl of pho. read more

When in doubt of what to eat for lunch, Mai's is often my "go-to." I have not explored the menu much beyond Drunken Noodles with Tofu, because it's so delicious I can't bring myself to order anything else! Mai's is family-owned, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The only downside to Mai's is the cafeteria and slightly tired atmosphere, but it does have the feel of eating in someone's kitchen. Parking can also be a challenge since it's a popular spot. It's a great place to order carry out. read more

Nice little joint here. I had the pho combo and it came with soft noodles, a variety of beef cuts, meats balls and 2 shrimp. The broth was a light flavor and was not too salty or sweet. Over experience with the staff and ambience was good. Received help for the cashier who took our order and paired up front. Usually paying afterwards. I'm going to try and write a review without starting off saying, "this place is amazing!" there, i have done it. now having said that, Mai's Deli is amazing. very fair pricing and friendly service. i have been through southeast Asia and had some of the same dishes abroad that are offered here. this place offers the most authentically prepared plates of Hmong cuisine I've had since my return. i hope to heck this place is here for the long haul and would highly recommended this place to anyone. i get a lot of different things on the menu but if my hand was forced to recommend ONE dish i would say go for the Udon noodle (i get mine with pork as i do everything else, anywhere else). you should also try the pork egg rolls if not just to try their spicy dipping sauce. this sauce tastes excitingly similar to a sauce i had all over Thailand. this place rocks, enjoy and experiment!! read more

Although the parking is challenging, and the dining area is really basic, the food at Mai's makes it well worth coming. The spring rolls are delicate and fresh; the best I have had.
