This is why you should by your Gaming PC from Maingear
No doubt the Gaming Rigs from these guys are built with the handcrafted care of a Maybach Landaulet, however it is the customer service that you will remember long after that new computer smell has worn off.
I purchased a gaming rig from Maingear back in April of 2014; state-of-the-art at the time; ASUS Rampage board, GFORCE - Titan Black x3, 500gb solid state drives x2 in RAID-0. The owner of the company actually helped me plan out the build. I had some hick-ups with the RAID config when I got it home, but tech support at Maingear remoted in to the rig and had me up and running within a few hours. For two and a half years I had no issues, this was the most dependable computer I have ever owned. It purred like a finely built European sports car everytime I turned it on, never failed once. I should also state here that this is the third boutique build I've owned; I've also had rigs from Digital Storm, and Falcon NW, both of which were good, but did occasionally give me a blue screen, overheat, and generally behave like a DeLorean. Also, I want to note that the quality of the build of my Maingear rig - precision of wiring, lighting, paint job - far outshined both of my previous rigs.
Just recently I moved to a new apartment and in the process of setting up my rig, had the RAID config go bad. I called Maingear, and was pleasantly reminded that I had lifetime service on the rig...that's LIFETIME. I packed it up and drove the 30 miles to their shop in New Jersey, and they made the repair in about a week. Picked it up, got it home, but it still wasn't working...because of user error and a short in a peripheral. When I brought it back again the next day, they worked through the issue right there on the spot. There were three techs trouble shooting the problem including the manager of the support division. All of this service, came free of charge...for the life of the rig. Try getting that with Alienware. Now it is true that I have the advantage of being only 30 miles away from their shop, but you can still get the same service via post, just not quite as quick.
This is the real deal, these guys eat, sleep and drink gaming PCs. If you're going to buy a custom build this is the best place to do it! read more
