My memory card was literally broken with missing pieces and there were pictures of numerous trips my parents did to Europe years ago and those pictures were pretty much priceless. I tried everything to try to get them myself but was unsuccessful. I was able to get back pretty much all of the hundreds and hundreds of pictures!! The service was very fast and at a great price. I was desperate for a company to recovery my files, and I came across Data Recovery New Jersey. What set them apart from other companies is that they fix hard drives IN HOUSE, meaning they do not ship it out elsewhere to get fixed. I wanted to hand deliver my hard drive directly to the source, and I was able to do that. Larry was great to speak with, he's super knowledgeable and helped me understand the possible issues & how they'd go about repairing it. From speaking via email to meeting in person, he was very thorough and made me feel like my hard drive was in good hands. The repair took around 2 weeks (I wasn't in a rush to get it repaired, I told him it can be put on the back burner as long as it got done). I had him ship my recovered data back ($20 shipping fee, $70 for a new hard drive for him to put my recovered data on), and HALLELUJAH he recovered all my missing files!!!! I am forever grateful to this company, they legitimately brought back all my precious memories.

I had a power surge in my house, and the power supply in my PC computer blew. I took it in to Jeevy for them to install a new power supply, and perform a full check out of the computer. The intake person wrote it up and told me he would call me that afternoon. I never heard from him all day, so I called 30 minutes before the shop closed. The same person that received the computer got on the phone, and told me that my hard drive was ruined, and the computer was gone. He immediately goes into this sales mode and tries to sell me a new computer. I owned a graphics company with over 40 Mac computers, and knew what was going on. I asked him if he was able to power it up. He said sure, so I asked him if he had replaced the power supply. He said no, and that it was a hard drive problem. I immediately knew he had never checked out the computer, and was just out to sell me a new computer. He stated that they did not have a power supply on hand that fit that model, which means he never powered it up to check it out. I called him on his lie, and he said he would get back to me right away. I never heard from him all night, so the next morning, I went down to the store to confront them. The woman behind the desk does a lot of fast talking, and tries to divert you. Finally, the lead technician came out, apologized for everything that happened, and said it was just a power supply, which he had in the back, and would replace this morning. They replaced the part, checked out the computer, and charged me full price to get my computer back. I wanted to speak to the owner, and left my name and number for him to call me. It has been 2 weeks, and I still have not heard from him. This is one of those "fly by night" shops who will tell you anything to get you to buy a new computer. Probably half of the problems they explain to their customers never even existed. They make their money either charging a huge sum of money for repairing your computer, fixing problems that may not have even existed, or convince you that your computer is finished, and sell you a new expensive one.

I WAS NOT going to write a review about the lack of service and communication I received from them. I SWEAR I WASNT. I figured...I dont like hurting people's bread. The means of which they feed their families. But then I picked up my machine and SAW THIS! (look at the pictures). They used my laptop as a COASTER! it was sticky and shiny like alcohol or coffee. THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLES BELONGINGS ENTRUSTED WITH YOU!? And for the record, I am in I.T. I WOULD NEVER! NEVER put liquids NEAR a machine let alone ON ONE! I keep my electronics immaculate! I should have snapped a picture of it before I dropped it off. You will all have to use your common sense. I dropped this laptop off over 4 weeks ago. Yes you read that right. 4 weeks ago for it not powering up. Yes I work in IT but I don't have the parts or equipment to determine the root cause other than using my common sense. I explained if its a bad port it's a bad motherboard because the port is attached to the mb on this model. You can't separate them. Find out how much it is after confirming it's not the battery terminal. I replaced the battery myself so it wasn't that. Anyway they said they would be in touch. Not ONE SINGLE TIME did they EVER call me! I called them every single time. I had to reach out for staus every single time. 1st time yes I called 2 days later. And they'd say "sorry Mohammad these things take time I have a guy working on it. We tried this this this and this. Now we're waiting for a part." I sometimes waited a full week being patient, giving them the benefit of the doubt, giving them time. But I'd end up calling again because they NEVER kept me updated. "Oh sorry Mohammad I meant to call you but I been busy." 2 weeks then 3 weeks then 4 weeks. What!??? It doesn't take 4 weeks to determine the root cause of a failure. It literally takes 2 days tops. But that's what happens when you work with people who sub contract techs. Anyway I'm pissed at how I was treated but more importantly how my machine was treated. Take a look at the pics and see for yourself. Up to you if you want to take your chances with them. I was going to let it go then I saw the condition of my machine. No way should you guys be in business. NO WAY.
