I love the system and the work that they did was top notch. Everything installed was so well thought out and completed very neatly and clean. The wires for my system used to be a complete rats nest, but Mikes team did a wonderful job cleaning up the mess and organizing the wires. Everything is tied down, labeled and very easy to access. They are always available for troubleshooting and I plan on using them again to upgrade my system and expand the Control 4 throughout the rest of the house. Thanks guys Great work! I spent weeks researching who I should pick to install a theater system in my brand new home (3 weeks old). After visiting the Home Theater retail space on RT22 I was convinced I could trust Dennis and his team. I received a quote didn't haggle and went for the best package and spent 15,000 on a home theater package. 74" TV, in wall speakers the works. After the installation was done that's when the nightmare started. 1. These so called professionals drilled through my basement missed the entire wall and drilled into South American imported oak wood (see picture) 2. They promised the floor and baseboard would get fixed and I waited 2 weeks only to have a person show up to my door who hardly spoke English and kept on asking my wife how expensive the wood floors were... Didn't ask the make the model where to get the wood nothing ... 3. My wonderful 74" Sony TV the kind of TV a person dreams about was mounted only to have the signal drop every 15 sec. Just imagine having a TV in your house that's 74" and not being able to watch it for more then 15 seconds before the picture fades to black and then comes back 3 seconds later.... When I called Dennis and rich they told me it was a cable box issue !!!! Come on guys you designed the entire system ... Fix it .... But once again I'm still waiting 4. Every wall that was touched by the installers had pencil marks, hand smudges, dirt and just really no respect for my beautiful home which I trusted in their hands. 5. The cabinet they installed all of the equipment in you would think was checked for adequate ventilation or better yet cables were marked and tie wrapped ... No way !!! The cabinet got so hot the first night that it knocked out my circuit breaker and now I sleep and live with the doors open in the cabinet... Wires were never dressed properly and the back of the cabinet looks like a birds nest. I really could go on and on but I'm just extremely heart broken after spending so much money and time. I don't have a TV that works, my electronics cabinet is a fire hazard and my beautiful walls and floors are still damaged. I will continue to fight this wrong that was done to an honest person but to finally get the attention this matter needs... I will call American Express card services and pull my payment for services not rendered Yours truly Very disappointed customer So after 2 years of fighting the owner the damage they did to my house never got repaired, they never provided a discount for the damages and I got 1 call from the owner to meet at my house and he never showed up. For those who are looking for a professional installation company run run run from this business!

I recently had an issue when the generator would not start for its weekly test cycle. I called Bold and a service person came to see what was wrong. He noticed immediately that the input gas lever was half closed ( my fault). He opened the gas lever, and started the generator. He turned it off and said that was the problem. He was here all of 10 minutes. I then got a bill for $220.00, really $ 187.66, because of my service contract. To summarize, I would have gladly paid a reasonable amount, but having paid close to $ 5000. for the service contract. It seems to me that Bold was foolish to let me cancel the maintenance plan, rather than charging a more reasonable amount for the service call. It is really a shame, because it is a great company but has too rigid billing practices.

Bold…read moreElectric made an assessment and they determined that it needed to be replaced in its entirely. Based on the good reviews, we decided to trust them... and our problems started. They replaced the generator with a brand new Kohler one, after one month, we got an outage... and the generator did not start. We called them and they showed up 2 days later. After that, we discovered that the only benefit you have with their maintenance "monthly service" is that they will "prioritize" you in case of an outage, but they still charge you a lot of money for the service. That was strike one. In another outage, the generator started, but the power went up and down, not constant... we had to call them again (after 2 months); they "fixed it" but in the next power test the generator did the same. Called them again and they fixed it once again (this is a new generator, installed by them). Strike two. Next power outage, generator did not turned on, they came by and it was determined the switch was damaged... they had to replace it, they charged us 700 (Again, this was a new generator, supposedly a whole new system was installed). Strike three and out; we cancelled our maintenance plan agreement and guess what? Now the switch is malfunctioning, and it is not allowing power from anywhere but the generator... this was replaced less than a year ago and they want to charge us 800 just to come and check. Please be careful with this company, I have not seen this dishonesty ever.

    How they got this many stars is beyond belief. I can promise you they are probably friends and…read morefamily leaving these reviews. I swear by the one who owns my soul! I WAS NOT going to write a review about the lack of service and communication I received from them. I SWEAR I WASNT. I figured...I dont like hurting people's bread. The means of which they feed their families. But then I picked up my machine and SAW THIS! (look at the pictures). They used my laptop as a COASTER! it was sticky and shiny like alcohol or coffee. THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLES BELONGINGS ENTRUSTED WITH YOU!? And for the record, I am in I.T. I WOULD NEVER! NEVER put liquids NEAR a machine let alone ON ONE! I keep my electronics immaculate! I should have snapped a picture of it before I dropped it off. You will all have to use your common sense. I dropped this laptop off over 4 weeks ago. Yes you read that right. 4 weeks ago for it not powering up. Yes I work in IT but I don't have the parts or equipment to determine the root cause other than using my common sense. I explained if its a bad port it's a bad motherboard because the port is attached to the mb on this model. You can't separate them. Find out how much it is after confirming it's not the battery terminal. I replaced the battery myself so it wasn't that. Anyway they said they would be in touch. Not ONE SINGLE TIME did they EVER call me! I called them every single time. I had to reach out for staus every single time. 1st time yes I called 2 days later. And they'd say "sorry Mohammad these things take time I have a guy working on it. We tried this this this and this. Now we're waiting for a part." I sometimes waited a full week being patient, giving them the benefit of the doubt, giving them time. But I'd end up calling again because they NEVER kept me updated. "Oh sorry Mohammad I meant to call you but I been busy." 2 weeks then 3 weeks then 4 weeks. What!??? It doesn't take 4 weeks to determine the root cause of a failure. It literally takes 2 days tops. But that's what happens when you work with people who sub contract techs. Anyway I'm pissed at how I was treated but more importantly how my machine was treated. Take a look at the pics and see for yourself. Up to you if you want to take your chances with them. I was going to let it go then I saw the condition of my machine. No way should you guys be in business. NO WAY.
